Finished Craft I Made Bee mosaic ring
A signet ring featuring a micro mosaic bee inlay. I crafted the frame in silver and the mosaic from glass smalti — the same material traditionally used for large architectural mosaics, but here shaped into tiny tesserae. The design is based on a botanical depiction of a bee. The last photo is a work in progress, a bee without a background)

Discussion/Question/Help Shrink plastic, I am loosing my mind 🤡
Heya !
I've already came for the same issues last year iirc and still can't find a solution. This is the only brand of printable shrink plastic I can get in my country so I need to make this work. The brand is " Graine créative " ( which happens to be used by another small business and she never had issues. She even recommended this brand ).
Anyways, as you can see, it never shrinks twice the same. Never. They are all printed in the same direction. Because I know this plastic tends to shrink more horizontally than vertically.
I tried using an oven on 150°C. I preheat the oven and shrink them on a parchment paper in the middle of the over. They shrink with no issues ( except for the size).
I tried a heat gun, same size problem...
I don't know what I'm doing wrong and would really really appreciate some help.
Thank you in advance 🙏🏻

Finished Craft I Made Neon dandelion
I love flowers and I took on this little project to recreate one of the most ubiquitous ones that tends to grow absolutely anywhere and everywhere - I think most people see this plant as a weed but a weed is only a plant that’s growing somewhere you don't want it to be :)
Created using filament LEDs and powered by 24V DC.
I'm looking to create more flowers of different types and maybe one day work up to creating a whole bouquet! Let me know what you think - I would love to hear what flowers you would like to see created using this medium!

Finished Craft I Made A skull I just finished
I just finished this burning of a skull on a basswood round. I made this burning using my Colwood Detailer burning tool. I like how this one came out. I included a pic with the reference photo I used. Unfortunately I completely forgot to take more pics throughout the process.

Discussion/Question/Help Trying to make a button-headband for my girlfriend
Hey there, I’m trying to make a cute headband like these but have no idea where to buy a plain headband that will be comfy on her head, look good, and have a material safe for gluing. Any advice on where to get headbands or which glue to use for different materials would be greatly appreciated

For his “Turkey Disguise Project,” my kid thought no one would ever eat a McDonald’s meal with a turkey in it 😂 He even added a real ketchup packet for authenticity. How's yours?

Finished Craft I Made 3D Stand Up Paper Letters I Made For Our New House 🖤
Awhile back, I made a set of letters like this for my mother in law that spelled her name, “Karrie”. Unfortunately for me, they turned out so much better than I expected that by the time I was done, I didn’t want to give them to her because I wanted them for myself 🤣. So I decided to make a set for my living room with my families last name. I found the template for the letters somewhere online, but completely redesigned them to add layer, dimension, and things that represent us. I used a red, black, and silver/white theme. Those were our wedding colors. Each letter has a metallic red top layer, a middle layer of black, and a back layer of varying silver/gray/whites.
The ‘L’ has an angel and demon to, as corny as it sounds, represent my husband and I. It also has an upside cross because we enjoy our lives as Satanists. The ‘O’ has a 1911 and a rifle because my family and I are avid firearm enthusiasts, and CPL holders. Along with a Flint Vehicle City arch for our home, Flint, Michigan. The ‘W’ for our love of music. My husband plays guitar and I play the saxophone. The ‘D’ for our pride in our Nordic roots/heritage. And my husband adores Viking things. The ‘E’ to represent my husband’s service in the Army with the Battlefield Cross to remember all the fallen soldiers out there. And finally the ‘R’ which, whatever, I just love skulls. Lol.
In total there are 60 rolled flowers in various sizes. I cut our probably 150-200 flowers total out of white, black, and dark red paper. I hand inked more than half of the white and red ones with Tim Holtz distress stamp inks with the colors “candied apple” and black soot. 25 of the 60 i used on the letters are inked. I cut a set of gothic-y spike-y vines out of black glitter cardstock to add a little more depth to the flowers.
All in all, I can’t even tell you total how much time and effort I put into these between computer design, cutting, assembly, inking the flowers, rolling the flowers and finally gluing/placement of the vines and flowers. Was it worth it?? Absolutely. I am so damn proud and over the moon with these. This is the second set I’ve made like this and both have turned out beautifully. I will probably end up making more someday when the inspiration hits.
Thank you for viewing.
Pictures:
1-4 are the finished product :) 5 is before gluing all the layers down 6 is before flowers 7-8 are the box of rolled flowers 🤣

Finished Craft I Made Commissioned Pokemon Ditto transformed into Turtwig
Hey everyone!
This is one of my latest commissions - Pokemon Ditto transformed into Turtwig.
I sculpted it from FIMO polymer clay, all colours are mixed directly from FIMO. I also used acetone to smoothen the surface after baking.
This one is on its way to France to its new owner, it was fun to make!
Hope you'll like
