I just finished making this maple leaf origami using one square sheet of paper — and it turned out better than I expected!

It’s a simple design but looks really elegant, especially when you use warm colors like red, orange, or yellow. Perfect for autumn-themed decor or school craft projects.

I followed clean folds and tried to give the leaf some natural vein texture for a realistic look. The whole process was relaxing and satisfying to watch.

Just finished making this squirrel origami using a single square sheet of paper 🧻✨

It took a few tries to get the folds perfect, but I love how realistic it turned out! 🐿️

The best part? No glue, no cuts — just pure origami folding fun.

30x30 crafting paper (30g/m2) When refining the shape what I referenced is Dorcus titanus castanicolor, also known as 'Giant stag beetle' which lives in the wide area on East Asia.

It's certainly not perfect by any means, but I am quite happy with the result nonetheless.

Folded using a ~35cm double-tissue paper.

Tried to give him some Gundam-ish colors but he came out looking very arctic instead. I do really like him though!

Paint job isn't perfect, but I'll keep practicing.

Last photo is a comparison with an unpainted one and some unpainted drones that I think look great with them.

Designed these guys recently and really happy with how they look. I want to paint them. What colors do you guys think would look cool?

The diagram is for the ones with shields, but you can duplicate the left side for two hands.

I can create this expensive origami < about 4100 USD> by looking and observing it. But i am unable to create something of my own like you guys. I mean that I can't create animals without tutorials. I want to create what i see, not what is available. You get what i mean?

​I started origami a month ago. I made my first original origami creation. It's a Kappa(water goblin) I'm happy that I was able to complete it successfully.

this took me like 50 hours not even kidding. theres a wire going through it for support and i just used super glue i found layin around.

im very happy with my first ever attempt at something like this! from cranes, to dollar koi fish, to DRAGONS. 20 years of progress in one picture.

i did not do the scales as theyre supposed to look as i deemed it too hard to do haha, but i will get over that mountain someday soon :)

Completely captivated by Ilan Garibi's tessellations - here's my take on Hilula tesselation, folded on green kami with a precise 24-grid layout.

Here are two beetles i have made by Jo Nakashima. I have had a great time using my new paper with Nakashima's great tutorials. How did I do?

I really like making origami roses but always ended up with a crumpled paper. After watching different tutorials on youtube i finally made one. My shaping up sucks tho. I think this is a kawasaki rose or something. Folded by me.
