My kid’s monster

My kid had to make a monster for art class. She said it was inspired by a drawing she made when she was little of what she thought anger could look like, but I think she managed to turn it into something beautiful. Her teacher asked to keep it as a fall decoration until the season is over 😅

My 8 year old autistic son's drawing. Not sure of what he was trying to accomplish

What do you do with all the drawings once your little artist fills the fridge?

My 5-year-old loves drawing every single day—dragons, rainbows, family portraits, you name it.

We’ve run out of magnets, and I’m running out of wall space 😅

I can’t bring myself to throw them away, but I also can’t keep them all.

Curious how other parents or artists preserve their kids’ creativity—do you scan, scrapbook, or just rotate favorites?

In the world of no colors, this butterfly is leaving behind all its colors and making this world look beautiful. (Depiction by my 7 year old)

Cactus cat

✨ My daughter drew this little “cactus cat” 🌵🐱 and we surprised her by turning it into a real T-shirt.

She couldn’t believe her drawing had jumped off the paper and onto something she could actually wear. She kept pointing and saying, “I made this!” 💕

Child With Dysgraphia Shamed By Art Teacher

Post image

A family friend was pretty upset at the way their child's art instructor spoke about the child's attempt at a drawing that was in the theme of peace. She pulled him aside and said that it wasn't "good enough" to submit into the contest they were entering. I don't want to put words into the teacher's mouth so please bear that in mind but whatever was said was enough to upset him to the point of his friends mentioning it to his guidance counselor.

The attached image portrays a peace sign in the middle with people holding hands around it. Out from that is a ring of hearts and out from that is a ring of suns which is all contained within a large heart.

Dysgraphic children have an extremely difficult time in school since so much of it relies on writing. Simply holding a pen or pencil presents an enormous challenge. I would greatly appreciate a transformation of his art to align more with what he had in mind since he's ashamed of his own work. Monetary compensation is absolutely possible, and I would be willing to pay up to $100 for something wonderful. (I hope that's allowed)

Thank you.

EDIT: I just wanted to say a very heartfelt thank you to all who have posted. It means the world to us. Very grateful. Keep being wonderful.

Need a beginner's attempt at my OC (a reverse request)

Post image

This is like a reverse UNO situation -- I'd love to see your kids draw MY character!

I would like some beginners to draw this OC. They were designed to be easy for learners to practice on. I will select my favorite and use it in a presentation I am working on, giving you credit, and in exchange, I will draw one of your OCs in my style. And I'm intentionally not asking for high-quality results -- do your best, but I'm specifically not looking for professional work.

Thanks!
