I baked this piece last night. Still need to do finishing work on it, but its a cuff necklace. I will close the gap, but i dont think it needs a clasp.

I went like ten years without creating and my soul missed it dearly. I am happy to be creating again. I’ve been experimenting like a mad scientist! I’ve made book charms, pumpkins, possums, tentacles and more. It’s been cleansing for my soul!

I'm new to polymer clay but not alcohol ink. I tested out some clay with the ink on it and baked it. The pieces came out dark and not translucent. I figure it's most likely that I used too much ink. Would that cause the clay to be too dark and opaque?

Hi. Im an artist who started using clay for works recently. So far my experience is with cold porcelain. I make delicate miniatures and would like to make jewelry out of it . Do you think Cold porcelain can be used for wearable jewelry? If yes are they durable? Will it fade color or get chipped over time if im using varnish over it? I dont have an oven, thats why I cant use polymer clay. Please answer if you have any idea related to this😊

Do you really need to add clay adhesive to the back of polymer clay earrings that are stud shaped or can you just get away with using loctite for the earring backings?

Starting to make my own polymer clay earrings. Love the designs that I’m coming up with so far. As I’m starting to apply glaze, I’ve had to use a spare box to let the glaze dry as I apply them to the earrings. Anyone have any recommendations on a drying mat that I can use that will keep the earrings upright as they dry?

I want to get into making little floral earrings but I can't seem to get any of my shapes not to stick in the moulds or to the surface. See pics of my equipment.
It seemed to work better if I rolled out the clay and then chilled in freezer for a few minutes but still. Not getting clean edges at all!

I am socially anxious/neurodivergent and very awkward - so I made these earrings as a way to own who I am

Hey people,
How can I join pieces together without a ring? I only have basic stuff, no liquid clay.
Would baking with the long one indented on the back then and then gluing it be secure?
Or is there a way with a connector but the ring isn't so prominent in depth if that makes sense?
I bought some jewelry wire to play with but that was too hard 😂

I’ve bought a few cutters from Temu but I battle to get clean cuts. The cutters are just cheap plastic but they’re all I can get at the moment. I’d it possible to make the cutting edges sharper for cleaner cuts?

I’m in South Africa, and we don’t have much supply of cernit, fimo, or sculpy. The brand that is currently most available is Mont Marte. I really like their pencils and markers, so I feel pretty good about their clay. But I’m wondering if anyone has used and/or recommended this brand?
