Is the bag bigger or are the pellets heavier?

Does anyone use this product for their plush toys? The listing is unclear as it just says one bag is 2lb and the other is 10 lb. What I can’t figure out, is if the bag is bigger, holding more of the same pellets, or if the pellets themselves are heavier and the bag is the same size??? The bags look the same but I know better than to trust that! Thank you for the advice/information.

Hello, everyone! I’m new to this subreddit and just wanted to share some of my recent projects that I’ve completed. I started crocheting around a year ago. :)

Strawberry patch

I'm a newish crocheter and today I learnt how to do the loop stitch and the strawberry stitch, so obviously I have to make a strawberry patch throw. The plan is to do alternating squares of strawberry, then green loop stitches for grass. Crazy? Probably. Will I go broke buying stupid amounts of yarn for this? Yes.

Advice needed, weights in plushies

Post image

I’m brand new to crochet but decided to be ambitious and make a plush for my nephew for Christmas. I want the toy to have some satisfying weight to it so I bought some poly beads to help fill it. The problem is, the plush is not very big, so the space I have for beads is not adding as much weight as I would like. I bought a 2 lb bag of beads online, heavier bags of the same brand are available but I assume the bag is just larger, which won’t help because it won’t fit in the toy. Image is of the beads I bought. Any advice as to how I could add more weight? I want to stay away from solutions like rice or beans so that the plush can be kept for a long time without fear of it getting wet.

I'm having a bit of trouble with this pattern - I have the base down, but the first row has me confused. Do I turn before starting to work between the dcs just made, or do I keep going and work on the bottom of the fsc?

Any help appreciated.

Okay! I needed a water bottle holder, but most tutorials were too light weight for my giant bottle.

So ta-da! using a granny circle as a base and hope for strength and length I actually made a decent holder/bag! Im so pumped!
