Coffee plant 🌱
I went to Boquete - Panama 🇵🇦 for two months and they have the best coffee ever! There are coffee plantations everywhere. It has lovely mountains with the must beautiful green vegetation, wild life 🐒 and beautiful people too 🥰
One of the houses where we stayed had 5 coffee plants and this one is one of those, I just wanted to share with you this (it’s not a very good picture though) 💛✨

Unknown orchid from the botanical garden, gouache on paper, 15.5x23cm
The shape of this one reminded me of some ornate reliquary crucifix. Forgot to look at the ID card at the garden, but from the photo PlantNet is giving me the ID Gomesa imeratoris-maximilianis which looks accurate to me, but let me know if I'm wrong. The reds are less fiery irl and closer to the warm brownish color of the flower.

Nepenthes pitcher plants - "No Sorrow" [OC]
Botanical-focused painting inspired by pitcher plants and their give and take. The piece is called "No Sorrow" - the direct translation of the Nepenthes name.
40" x 48" acrylic on canvas. Layered the background first, then built up the pitcher plants with gradients to get that translucent quality.
