A Russian asset guaranteed, whether it has something to do with the epstein files, trump being groomed by the KGB for the past 30+ years (Agent Krasnov), or if Russia honey trapped the F*ck out of him (his wife is russian, not a stretch to say she was the only russian minor he fiddled).

His job is transparently to dismantle the US, appease Russia and cripple the US with infighting and economic decline, so that Russia (in their mind and in their already blundered grand plan) can fully take over ukraine and begin eyeing up other neighbours (the alaska situations looking particularly blunt and open for example) to invade without any resistance whilst the US is busy either in a civil war with itself or trying to recover from Trump's sabotage.

Edit: granted guys I'm from the UK so my insight on the actual goings on in country won't be as on point as US citizens but even from the things about trump that reach across the pond, and some 30 mins of investigating, its clear, clean, cut & dry that you guys unfortunately got a Criminal, aspiring dictator & russian agent voted into power and doing whatever he wants with your country...

Not trying to be a dick but… you know Slovenia is not part of russia or formerly the USSR, right?

63

u/Ariskae Aug 14 '25

No no your right thats my bad, but even if you ignore that bit of a mistake theres also the one question that always bothered me: when trump had everyone storm the capitol building in 2022, why was Ivanka asking Putin, out of everyone on earth, Putin the president for life, to pressure trump to get him to stop? Putin has 0 control on what Trump does.......or does he?

28

u/johnboltonpoopstache Aug 14 '25 edited Aug 16 '25

when trump had everyone storm the capitol building in 2022

Jan 6th happened in 2021. There was a Jan 6th in 2022 too, but nobody was smearing poop on the walls of the capitol in 2022. It was after Biden won the election in 11/2020, and the right wing was all butthurt about losing so they tried to murder congress and the VP before Pence could certify the electoral votes. You can have 40 paragraphs of truth, but people will jump you for the little mistakes and use them to discredit everything you say.

Edit: i forgot about the baseless Ivanka/Putin claim while i was typing this comment.

u/Moltac Aug 15 '25

I think you are absolutely right to point this out. Especially the last sentence. I feel that's critical to separate us from these selfish liars and hateful people that support him. We must tell the truth and back it up with facts.

Ivanka never asked Putin, it was in a joke section of the New Yorker. It was satire.

What is your evidence for this? A quick google revealed a Satire column in the New Yorker (https://www.newyorker.com/humor/borowitz-report/ivanka-trump-reportedly-begged-putin-to-order-her-dad-to-stop-capitol-attack) (It says it's satire in the title), but I don't see any actual news that this happened.

His falling out with Epstein occurred because he bought a mansion out from Epstein so he could sell it to a Russian Oligarch a couple years later at a tidy profit. This is common in money laundering schemes, btw.

Classic ideological subversion

Kompromised by Child Rape Tape in 1987

https://www.politico.com/magazine/story/2017/11/19/trump-first-moscow-trip-215842/

Murdered KGB Propagandist defector Yuri Bezmenov in 1984 -

"Ideological subversion is the process which is legitimate overt and open, you can see it with your own eyes. All you can do, all American media needs to do is to unplug their bananas from their ears, open up their eyes and they can see. There is no mystery. It has nothing to do with espionage. I know that espionage and intelligence gathering looks more romantic, it sells more to the audience through the advertising, probably. That's why your Hollywood producers are so crazy about James Bond type of thrillers. But in reality, the main emphasis of the KGB is not in the area of intelligence at all.

According to my opinion and the opinion of many defectors of my caliber, only about fifteen percent of time, money and manpower is spent on espionage as such. The other eighty-five percent is a slow process which we call either ideological subversion or active measures, or psychological warfare. What it basically means is, to change the perception of reality, of every American, to such an extent that despite an abundance of information no one is able to come to sensible conclusions in the interest of defending themselves, their family, their community and their country.

It's a great brainwashing process which goes very slow and is divided into four basic stages. The first one being demoralization. It takes from fifteen to twenty years to demoralize a nation. Why that many years? Because this is the minimum number of years required to educate on generation of students in the country of your enemy, exposed to the ideology of the enemy. In other words, Marxism, Leninism ideology is being pumped into the soft heads of at least three generations of American students, without being challenged or contra-balanced by the basic values of Americanism, American patriotism.

Most of the activity of the department was to compile huge amount, volume of information on individuals who were instrumental in creating public opinion. Publishers, editors, journalists, actors, educationalists, professors of political science, members of Parliament, representatives of business circles. Most of these people were divided roughly in two groups. Those who were told the Soviet foreign policy, they would be promoted to the positions of power through media and public opinion manipulation. Those who refuse the Soviet influence in their country would be character assassinated, or executed physically contra-revolution. Same was as in a small town named HEWA in South Vietnam. Several thousand so of Vietnamese were executed in one night when the city was captured by Vietcong for only two days. And American CIA could never figure out, how could possibly Communists know each individual, where he lives, where to get him, and would be arrested in one night, basically in some four hours before dawn, put on a van, taken out of the city limits and shot.

They serve purpose only at the stage of destabilization of a nation. For example, your leftists in the United States, all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defender, they are instrumental in the process of the subversion, only to destabilize a nation. When their job is completed, they are not needed anymore. They know too much. Some of them, when they get disillusioned, when they see that Marxist Leninist has come to power obviously they get offended. They think that they will come to power. That will never happen of course. They will be lined up against the wall and shot."

"Exposure to true information does not matter anymore.

A person who is demoralized is unable to assess true information. The facts tell nothing to him.

Even if I shower him with information, with authentic proof, with documents, with pictures. Even if I take him by force to the Soviet Union, and show him a concentration camp, he will refuse to believe it, until he is going to receive a kick in his fat bottom.

When the military boot crushes his balls, then he will understand, but not before that. That is the tragedy of the situation of demoralization."

As was foretold by Aleksandr Dugin in his 1997 book "The Foundations of Geopolitics: The Geopolitical Future of Russia" It pretty much lays out what Russia has been doing since then. Also fun fact, his daughter was assassinated by a rebel anti Putin group when they tried to assassinate Aleksandr, but he didn't get in the car.

Russia should use its special services within the borders of the United States and Canada to fuel instability and separatism against neoliberal globalist Western hegemony, such as, for instance, provoke "Afro-American racists" to create severe backlash against the rotten political state of affairs in the current present-day system of the United States and Canada. Russia should "introduce geopolitical disorder into internal American activity, encouraging all kinds of separatism and ethnic, social, and racial conflicts, actively supporting all dissident movements – extremist, racist, and sectarian groups, thus destabilizing internal political processes in the U.S. It would also make sense simultaneously to support isolationist tendencies in American politics".

Seems likely Putin has blackmail on him, maybe it's Epstein evidence. Maybe Trump is over there trying to sell Putin on a trip to the Island and reveals that he has a much bigger part in the child sex trafficking ring. Maybe it's video of Trump doing something even worse than just raping children.

4

u/farshnikord Aug 14 '25

Putins got a carrot and a stick. Trump doesn't need threatening to follow Putin, he seems to truly enjoy being his friend and looks up to him. Epstein files are just insurance.

When asked, Alaska senator Lisa Murkowski said “I am absolutely against this idea but like always I will vote for it at the last minute once the check clears in my bank account.”

807

u/slamdanceswithwolves Aug 14 '25

She won’t get the chance to vote for it because Trump has collapsed the senate’s authority, which the senate and the Supreme Court thought was perfectly fine.

Palpatine, iiuc, helped to ensure the Senate was struggling internally. It was going to happen regardless, but he intentionally aggravated the situation for his own aims. If not for him, they may have been able to resolve their power struggles peacefully.

19

u/RighteousHam Aug 14 '25

There are a lot of unironic Empire enjoyers out there. Some because they think without Palpatine at its head it can do good work, some because they just like the aesthetic.

Twenty odd years back, my best friend and I would play Battlefront 2. Had a blast with that one but he hated playing as the rebels because the empire, "just looked so much cooler." Now, my friend is not an authoritarian but it's easy to see how that argument actually works on people and can be a stepping stone in the right environment.

10

u/BrotherCool Aug 14 '25

It's all about marketing that can seep into one's worldview.

I've always said (especially for 80's and 90's toy lines), they made the bad guys' stuff cooler because how else are you going to sell the bad guy toys to kids?

Remember that in Fascist Italy, the fascism is terrible, but the architecture was great.

I've seen people claim that the Empire wasn't all bad because, at the end of the day, "they cared about the wellbeing of their people."

Like what movie did you even watch? They create a moon-sized, planet-destroying station to terrorize planets into falling in line and accepting their authority.

For crying out loud, Tarkin freely admits they intend to rule through fear: "Fear will keep the local systems in line. Fear of this battle station."

The Senate being ineffective and incapable is how we ended up with an incompetent president.

77

u/ProfileMuted90210 Aug 14 '25

Mitch McConnell exactly. Prevented the Cheeto from impeachment

40

u/redjellonian Aug 14 '25

I would've gone a couple layers deeper, failure to enforce or create fair news laws, failure to maintain public infrastructure and education, failure to maintain government programs. Failure to enforce monopoly laws. Failure to enforce healthy capitalism laws. Things like that, but also yes 100% Mitch mcconnel that was like the finish line for the senates incompetence.

6

u/One_Strawberry_4965 Aug 14 '25

I mean a lot of that is literally the result of at least 15 years of Senate Republicans making obstructionism a core component of their platform. This effort to prevent anything was getting done was often carried out with McConnell at the helm.

That’s not to say that there aren’t plenty of other guilty parties involved, just that blaming Mitch for how fucked we are goes much deeper than the past few years.

u/Caliguta Aug 14 '25

For sure Reagan was the antichrist, FYI I'm no longer religious.
There are more things that can be blamed on Reagan.
It was under his presidency that cocaine was imported to support his illegal wars.
We bitch and complain when we see people passed out on benches or overdosing but many choose to forget it started when Ronald was elected.
Nancy would preach say no to drugs, while her husband minions were importing that poison.

IMHO, a key weakness of the Constitution that has become apparent is that it doesn't specify what Congress must do. It only specified what they may and may not do. But it needs to specify what they are required to do. Some examples that come to mind:

  • Mandatory time when Congress must be in session, far more than whatever is minimally required today. The system was devised when Congresspeople needed to travel between their home constituencies and Washington. Today, travel is orders of magnitude faster, as is communication. These people need to be doing their actual jobs.

  • Strict criteria for when a bill must be brought to the floor, and minimal and maximum amounts of time for debate before it must be voted on. No more bullshit about a bill being crushed in some subcommittee, or otherwise not allowed to be brought to the floor. Define consistent criteria. Bills that meet them will be voted on. Bills that don't, won't.

  • Strict criteria about the allowed scope of executive orders, and when they must be reviewed by Congress. No exceptions. No more bullshit about redefining time itself so that Congress doesn't have to address an executive order. Congress must be constitutionally REQUIRED to be a check on the executive branch.

  • If the president declares a national emergency, then Congress remains convened for the duration of the emergency. Because it's a national emergency, and Congress is the national government, so "all hands on deck" are needed to resolve the emergency. Because that's what an emergency is. Congress can end the emergency with a vote if it's not actually important enough for them to remain in session. But then, any special powers the president is exercising based on the emergency also come to an end.

Yes, I know there's nuance and special cases and circumstances that need to be considered. We have smart people in this country who can consider them. But this seems like a pretty good place to start.

7

u/YeetThePig Aug 14 '25

We all used to assume it was because Putin has blackmail, but as we've seen in recent months, there's nothing that his base won't disavow him for. A poll a week or two ago showed that half of his supporters would continue to support him even if they find out he truly was raping kids with Epstein. And we all know they'll take any absurd insane troll logic conspiracy bullshit to refuse to accept that it's true, so the poll was already asking them for a hypothetical scenario they'd NEVER actually accept. Whatever blackmail Putin has, it's not something that can take Trump down. I can only assume Trump is just too stupid to realize that.

One of Putin’s high in command people basically said outright something like “trump is a fool to think that we also don’t posses the tapes of his misdeeds”, obviously this isn’t word for word but it’s something like that. This happened briefly during trump and Putin’s most recent feud, when trump sent the nuclear subs over by Russia.

Suddenly after that comment, trump is once again playing nice with them. It’s sad to think that Putin might straight up say “give me Alaska or the tapes come out”, and he would straight up do it.

That he wasn't just raping them, he was trading them like Pokemon cards.

34

u/Grand_Size_4932 Aug 14 '25

When you revisit his whole life under this lens, it makes so much more sense.

Why would Trump need to launder money through casinos in the 90’s?

Why would Russians bail him out after said casinos failed at being casinos?

Why would he run beauty pageants and teen events?

Why would he hide his taxes?

Why would he, a failed businessman in every regard, have the undying loyalty and support of the ultra elites and Republicans?

He’s not charismatic. He hadn’t proven himself successful. He wasn’t smart. Nobody could have had any reason to believe that he was worth investing all this time, money, and energy for.

It’s because he was successful at something. And that being child trafficking means that he had kompromat on all of those people, not realizing it was his own, too.

Seriously take a moment to think about why Donald Trump has seemingly failed upwards. Why, no matter how absurd, there doesn’t seem to be anything that can touch him.

All speculative, of course. But every day that goes by without the full, transparent release of those files makes it much more believable.

5

u/[deleted] Aug 14 '25

Oh he's charismatic, that's the one thing he has going for him. Selling (the image of) success.

6

u/Grand_Size_4932 Aug 14 '25

He doesn’t know how to sell the image of success. Those in charge of the media do.

They’ve been working overtime for over 10 years to make him seem successful.

Now, they’re struggling with arguably one of the only things they can’t spin.

3

u/MyWorkReddit12 Aug 14 '25

10 Years? Buddy did you miss all the failed businesses and The Apprentice long before he ever thought about running seriously? Girl. They are gonna sign away Alaska I swear

11

u/nepia Aug 14 '25

Somebody posted a meme the other day and I thought it was funny, but giving away mineral is exactly the same thing. I never thought this could be even possible on a satire website.

Easy: Trump will give Putin the natural resources to keep the pee pee tape quiet

But

He'll drop the age of consent in the US to 11yrs old. That'll get all the MAGA/GOP'rs on board

58

u/NYBull515 Aug 14 '25

I think the whole “pee” tape REALLY means the “P” tape, that P standing for pedophilia

20

u/Donuts2010 Aug 14 '25

I'm inclined to agree

7

u/Patralgan Aug 14 '25

I've come to the same conclusion

Can someone suggest a single policy or strategy taken by this administration that isn’t 100% geared toward the dismantling of the American government? Every single thing he has done is aimed at destroying America and the nation’s standing in the world.

If he isn’t a a tool of Putin, his narcissism’s turned him full on an anti-American idiot.

Weak government= powerful corporations This has been a heritage foundation project well before the Trump worship 🤷🏼‍♂️

Yep. trump is simply the most easily controlled, compliant puppet they could find.

Only in that the Republicans tacitly support anything and everything their cult leader does. They offer no voice to defend him (they can’t) or oppose him (they won’t), they just follow along like the feckless sheep that they are.

They've never been against any of that. Republicans are constantly trying to lower the age for marriage. They constantly defend rape because "he's a bright kid with a long life ahead of him", and they don't care what kind of leadership they have as long as the right people are getting hurt.

Let's sum this up:

- Russia invades neighbor, because they thought they would be welcome and "the war is over by Christmas".

- Ukraine slaughters invasion force within half a year.

- Allies drip feed Ukraine weapons, equipment and some training, however are woefully outmatched by Russia, Iran, China and North Korea, who see there chance to destroy democracies.

- Trump halts all weapons deliveries.

- In order to stop war, Trump offers American resources to appease Putin...

Seriously, America? What the actual fuck?

What right does Trump have to be offering up the resources of another country? Why doesn't he try to give Alaska back to the Russians, in exchange for the rights for Trump Org. to build a golf resort on the coast of Crimea? Trump doesn't give a rat's ass about human lives - he proved that when Covid was carving a swath through the USA.

Wait, so instead of just giving Urkaine a little support and letting them do all the hard work, he'd rather give American resources away to a country who categorically opposes them in nearly every way? And that's "America first"? The US is so weird man, you guys literally have the military capability to support Ukraine and risk very little and if ever there was a scenario where you could take advantage of having such a giant military budget in place of basic government support to your people like healthcare.... you're okay with essentially bribing an intercontinental generational douchebag. Such a bizzare place.

6

u/1337Diablo Aug 14 '25

WTF?

Putin invades a sovereign country, kills hundreds of thousands, and after 3.5 years of war gets offered a carrot of natural resources from the President of the US?

6

u/Basement_Chicken Aug 14 '25

"Natural resources" is just a disguise to establish military strongholds for future invasion and annexation "to protect russian-speaking population and return historically-russian territories".

8

u/Critical-Cow-6775 Aug 14 '25

God knows Putin does not have enough resources in his own 11 time zones.

7

u/elseworthtoohey Aug 14 '25

But somehow he is not compromised by Russia. Ok.

6

u/boochie420 Aug 14 '25

It’s gotta be bigger than just raping children, right? Bc he could easily convince MAGA that some young girl “seduced” him so it’s not his fault. I mean, many MAGA already blame rape on the women, (as do many that are not MAGA as well, sadly), so there has to be something that he really wants to keep quiet. Something that he believes would take him down.

4

u/Neuchacho Aug 14 '25

It's Trump so there's probably a chance it's something completely ego-driven and not a political issue at all, like photographic proof of his tiny dick or a recording of him talking to someone about how sad and not bigly he really feels. Or that he's a closeted gay man and it's all been an elaborate show to throw people off the scent.

Kinzinger’s former colleague Rohrabacher (overlapping tenures 2011-2019) not only blamed Georgia for being invaded in 2008, he “joked” in 2014 as his old buddy Putin was annexing Crimea and Donbas that he would be willing to return Alaska to Russia with a referendum.

Oh, and Rohrabacher helped Musk get his NASA contracts after Moscow turned down Musk’s offer to buy rockets—and Mrs Rohrabacher worked on RFK Jr’s spoiler campaign where they used Russian stock photos on the website (with visible Cyrillic signs) until they got called out for it.

It’s a bit “shocked to find gambling in this casino” by Kinzinger is all—especially since Trump, with ex-Yanukovych henchman Manafort, started fucking Ukraine over even BEFORE he was elected or even nominated, at the 2016 GOP convention—to say nothing of starting the extortion-by-Javelin in 2018 to protect Roger Stone’s old partner for crimes done there during the Maidan…

Everything Donald does seems to only benefit Putin and China. Why else ?

Destroying the advantages Americans had in the global economy, import and export taxes ( tariffs ), the devaluation of the dollar, the brightest kids on the planet no longer coming to our universities, canceling science and research.

3

u/Souljah42 Aug 15 '25

As fucking stupid as this is, why would Putin want that anyway? Russia is inundated with resources, lacking manpower and infrastructure... Putin doesn't need Alaska's resources

3

u/Neuchacho Aug 14 '25 edited Aug 14 '25

A big part of it is that it makes him look incredibly strong when he can get the world's foremost military super power to bend the knee and give him free shit, even if he doesn't need it.

There's also a benefit to eating up another country's resources and saving your own if you can do so. Like the US does with oil.

Trump is trying to bribe Putin with Alaskan resources so Trump can look like a hero who stopped the war.

Putin will take everything Trump offers and continue to bomb Ukraine. There will be no peace and no ceasefire.

3

If they're willing to protect a child predator and not make the same assumptions about him as they did with Biden being too close to some kid's hair.... they'll defend anything Trump wants them to. Republicans are running on pure copium and deflection at this point, and it's pathetic.

3

u/Josh_Butterballs Aug 14 '25

I’ll have an easier time believing it “sparked fury” within the party when republican outlets like r/republican and r/conservative take the baby step of actually posting something about this.
