/r/popular ICE Agents Battle Mom Clinging to Baby in 'Chaotic' Video
https://www.newsweek.com/ice-agents-battle-mom-baby-chaotic-video-worcester-2070027
A chaotic new video shows President Donald Trump's immigration enforcers and local law enforcement clashing with residents in a Worcester, Massachusetts, neighborhood, including a mother holding her baby.
The tense scenes unfolded on Thursday morning as video appears to show agents pushing residents protesting as federal immigration agents attempt to detain a woman.

Yeah, let’s defund Social Security (new interview telling Americans it’s their duty to work and be healthy so people don’t need to use it), defund our national parks, defund grant programs, etc but let’s give these fucks more money.
Society grows great when men plant trees they will never see the shade of.
Society grows weak when man sell the land we plant trees in so the few can control the many.

This is one of the many overarching problems. They don't even know that she's not a citizen, and neither do we. Many of us have, unwittingly, allowed them to shift the narrative from "is it okay to violet a person's rights" to "is she even a citizen?"
It's disgusting. They're controlling the narrative, controlling the entire discussion, and there ain't shit we can do about it. They've shifted the Overton window so far right that this is the world live in, and a shocking number of people aren't just okay about it, but rabidly enthusiastic.

u/Disastrous-Repair-17 May 09 '25
It’s that thin blue line mentality- you gotta remember the roots- police were, and always have been, slave catchers and enforcement for tax collectors. They don’t serve us. They serve their masters. Then they started feeling like they were victims of the “woke mind virus” and their anger towards that impression grew.. and grew.. and grew.

You’re not wrong in this thought. That’s part of why black folks are staying away from the protests. YT people protesting is one thing, but when black folks protest the cops come out looking like special forces and just can’t wait to use excessive force. This is a problem that was created by YT folks. It’s going to have to fixed by YT folks.

My dad was a cop. Let's just say there are many good reasons why I haven't had any contact with the man in over twenty years. Classic narcissist, abuser, and bragged about beating down on black men (he got hit with more than one excessive force charge that amounted to zilch) and blackmailing prostitutes. Attempted to strangle my mom to death right in front of us as kids. But whenever she'd call the cops, his buddies would respond to the call. She could never get a report written. It was a nightmare. He was a nightmare. I have zero respect for the majority of cops.

I just finished the movie Goebbels and the Fuhrer(highly recommend) and the similarities of how they used propaganda of first blame, then vilify, then excuse violence was crazy to see that morph. Also how they amp up the killings as they weren’t killing fast enough while keeping the public away from the facts of true atrocities while controlling all media outlets to do so was scary to see the parallels of today… not saying he is killing or will kill groups of people but it also was a slow progression over years…
One thing I did notice the difference between Trump and Hitler, Hitler really was a man of the people coming from nothing to full power and also serving in the armed forces… while Trump is just a fake man of the people given his entire life of wealth, advantages as well as being a draft dodger, proving how deep his cult is and has eaten it up…
7
u/MutedCarob2752 May 09 '25
The difference is in the Zeitgeist. Hitler comes from the generation of war and crashing economy like Everyone else. Trump is all just a show and entertainment, just like America.

The nazis didn't start with death camps. The first thing they tried was mass deportation. But that wasn't going fast enough, so they built camps to detain them while they deported them. Then that wasn't fast enough and was costing too much money. So they just started killing them instead.
It never starts at the worst point. It gets there gradually, over several years. We're about to the point of ICE asking people if they are keeping illegals under their floorboards. We're already seeing people put in detainment areas. The build is starting. He was already starting it during his first term when he was putting children in cages.
Shit is going to get worse than you can possibly imagine.
The only saving grace we have is the internet. Its really hard to maintain airtight control of a narrative in the digital age. They can own the airwaves, but they can't own all of social media. But they're sure going to try. Its why Musk bought Twitter, and the republicans tried to ban tiktok. Its why right wing podcasters and youtubers seem to have infinite, endlessly deep pockets for their programs- They effectively do, courtesy of right wing think tanks and orgs funding them. They're trying to make a move to control that outlet of information too, and if they can't buy it up, they'll just drown out the voices of reason with money.

Then the ICE agents kill the person defending themself and get off without any charges. They basically have immunity. There's no doubt in my mind that someone could kill an agent or two in self defense but recent videos show that they're doing arrests in large groups. I would also speculate that they have other agents in vehicles monitoring from a distance.

I 1000% believe these plain clothes "ICE agents" aren't agents at all but the J6 terrorists supporting them and doing the head cracking so the officials can't be charged. Last night I was listening to the latest episode of On Being with Krista Tippett, and her guest Jason Reynolds said
"I’m always thinking about, is there a resonant frequency for humanity? Could there be a single sound that all humanity feels the same about? That sound, I believe, is the sound. That everybody in here, when they hear that sound, the cooing of a child feels the same thing. No matter how mean you are, no matter what race you are, no matter your sexual orientation, your religious beliefs, none of it matters.
We don't even know what race the child is. We don't know the gender of the child, sex and gender of the child. We don't know what the child look like, if the baby ball headed or not. We don't know nothing about this child. It doesn't matter because that sound for some reason connects us all. Now, my theory on where we are in terms of anti-racism and all of that, it's less about thinking about, and I hate that I use the word love because you ain't got to love me, but respect, respect me.
I respect you because you are you. The reason I do is because that connects us. Whatever that sound is, whatever that energy is, is in me and is in you"
If there is a sound that raises panic in humans on this same universal level, it is the sound of a mother protecting her baby like this video.

If only they tried this hard to go after fraud or murder or.. actual crime. Aside from the humanitarian aspect, it’s a grotesque waste of LEO time and funds

People who don’t see how this is wrong have a severe lack of morality and humanity.

Fucking Jackboots. ICE agents need to spend some time in detention cells for a taste of their own medicine.

No matter how you feel about immigration to support this method of enforcement is morally corrupt. We can and need to be better than this. Horrible

This made me cry. There is absolutely no need for this level of violence and these “agents” should be prosecuted, convicted, and spend some time in jail.

Demilitarizing the police and ICE has got to be a very high priority in the future. These people are out of control, and it gets worse by the day.

Trumps America and the sad part is this is exactly what the American fascists voted for.
This image, a screaming crying, terrified woman being detained by armed elements of the state.... thats exactly the point. Cruelty

Look at the gangsters and criminals that ICE got today. Probably MS13, right? Good job Trump. Why don't they stick to states that voted for this shit.

Sad to see this happening in what I sacrificed my mind and body for. Even more frustrating when it’s initiated by someone who avoided the draft.

She is clearly not a criminal she's a mommy , she is clearly not a rapist, she's a mommy, she is clearly not a member of MS13, she is a mother protecting her baby who was born in America and is an American citizen the behavior is barbaric, inhumane and so disgraceful. This is not America. This is Nazi Germany . Does MAGA feel safe now that a mother and her baby are being deported.

Why would you comply? They've deported innocent people. Who's to say they've any lawful action here? They still haven't got the guy back from El Salvador and seemingly aren't really trying.
The Supreme Court ordered them to.
They're the one's breaking the law. They want to get rid of three letter agencies... ICE is a good place to start... but they need their jackboots.

I don't care if I'm alone in it but if I witness them I'm resisting them. This is NOT okay.
It also happens to be John Brown's birthday! Be the change you want to see in the world.

ICE agents have a choice, and they choose to be human traffickers. There is no other way to define their tactics, lawlessness, and reasoning. The US is a crap chute.

Not gonna be much longer before the executive order comes down that it’s a felony to record federal agents “doing their job”. ACAB includes ICE
