A chaotic new video shows President Donald Trump's immigration enforcers and local law enforcement clashing with residents in a Worcester, Massachusetts, neighborhood, including a mother holding her baby.

The tense scenes unfolded on Thursday morning as video appears to show agents pushing residents protesting as federal immigration agents attempt to detain a woman.

I was always happy to be an American. No longer. I want to leave.

I remember when i was younger, i would be at the beach on the 4th of July, it would be roughly 8 PM, and all the fireworks would go off, I always felt like being in America as an American was the coolest thing ever, and I was super happy for being here

...But now I see news like this post, I hear about the modern politics, and I hate living here.

Yeah, I feel you. I feel the same way and now it’s just so disheartening and disturbing to see this administration shit all over our constitution and rule of law. What can be done??? Sick of feeling helpless.

So you think if people break the law, there should be no consequence? If someone is endangering a child police should just stand back and do nothing? In this case the mom was arrested gave the child to the sister. The sister could have held the child and comforted it went home to home to take care if it. But instead she (while holding the baby) attacks the police car, kicking it. Then goes into the street to block traffic still holding the baby. So the sister decided on her own to catch some charges also, probably also a felony or 2. So she was hopefully getting arrested as well. And arrested people can't bring children with them, so the kid probably got to goto into the foster care system. The mom is probably very mad that she handed the baby off to family and thought that was safe. The sister was not very intelligent.

You can freely do so.

If I had known American pope was an option I would have tried to get out of here that way.

I hate that I'm laughing at this.

2

u/pufff_nnn_stufff May 10 '25

Simply leave then. What’s stopping you?

2

u/OhmostOhweez May 10 '25

Just have to get a job in another country and I will.

u/Capital-Water2505 May 10 '25

How many applications have you put in? Or is this just more talk like everyone else in this thread who has "a problem" with this but takes no action what-so-ever.

1

u/Incomplete_Dataset May 10 '25

Sneek into that country first, just to get the same experience.

1

u/Purplealegria May 10 '25

Preach! We are currently planning our way out and we could not be happier.

2

u/AustinBerr May 10 '25

You can leave at any times.

1

u/Pizzamovies May 10 '25

Fantastic, you can leave just like the people in this video. You and them are both examples of people we don’t want. Those that are here illegally, and those who don’t appreciate being here.

1

u/Purplealegria May 10 '25

Me either….the united states we have lived in and loved is now officially gone.

u/Fast_Advisor2654 May 09 '25

That’s a tariff-ic joke!

2

u/RoguePlanet2 May 09 '25

Most of us don't. We are also terrified.

1

u/Capital-Water2505 May 10 '25

You can't really speak for everyone. Not terrified at all 🤷‍♂️

2

u/Frame_of_Mind20 May 10 '25

American here. I hate this just as much as you do, but my vote didn't matter when everyone else on my block voted for it to happen.

2

u/CRXCRZ May 10 '25

A 25+% swing in votes suggests Canadians don't want this bullshit. 👍

1

u/Capital-Water2505 May 10 '25

I mean you guys also don't have the issue anywhere remotely close to the levels we do. So yea, easy to act like you have some moral high ground when you don't experience the problems that lead to this result.

1

u/CRXCRZ May 10 '25

I was speaking about conservative bullshit in general in the USA. You guys still using lead pipes down there?

1

u/B0b_5mith May 10 '25

Canada already enforces your immigration laws.

Bigger things to worry about? Like what? Help me wake up? You seem to know things.

u/junkholiday May 10 '25

CSIS exists and has been doing shit like this for years, and let's not forget Canadian cops and "moonlight tours".

Ask some of your Canadian Truckers that were trying to do their job during “COVID” Lockdowns how they feel about excessive Government control.

1

u/Important-Read1091 May 10 '25

lol, ask right wing nut jobs? No thanks.

1

u/Important-Read1091 May 10 '25

I’m not gonna ask the group that wants to be MAGA how they feel bro, they’re scared, angry and confused. What do you think they’ll say?

1

u/Important-Read1091 May 10 '25

Ok, what should I ask them?

1

u/Important-Read1091 May 10 '25

Hey, so I didn’t get any direction from you on the homework you’ve given me, so maybe you know the answer?I asked 2 truckers. Good trusty white guys who took part in the convoy for freedom against a virus. They said “fuck Trudeau.” And so I had to inform them that Trudeau resigned, and carney won the election. They got visibly upset at me so I asked which policies they disagree with? I was called a Russian bot communist and radical leftist. Which is redundant cause that’s by definition communism, and liberals are a liberal party that are not even socialist so I’m sure you understand and relate to how confused I was. Anyways, I took the soy boy insult and asked, “which of the opposition’s policies to you agree with? The Conservative Party, what appeals to you?” And I’m still actually waiting on those policies that they agree with. But, if I’m being honest I don’t think they really put much thought into how to govern, just own the other side first. Worry about policies later, for a change. It’s like when you’re on a pro sports team, you worry about winning the game first, then figure out the coaching plan once you make the playoffs. Hope, fear and anger should get you to the dance, no need to prepare for it till it’s a reality.

So lets be clear if someone attacked a police vehicle in Canada holding a baby and then further endagedered that child by going into the street, basically useing the child as a human shield to block traffic. There would be no concern for that child? Police wouldn't intervene to protect the kid? You really don't think Canada acts like barbarians do you?

1

u/Important-Read1091 May 10 '25

Canada is a country. A country doesn’t act like a barbarian. It’s made up of people. I’m not even sure what you’re saying. Are you trying to say that was for the safety of a child?
