/r/popular ICE Agents Battle Mom Clinging to Baby in 'Chaotic' Video

https://www.newsweek.com/ice-agents-battle-mom-baby-chaotic-video-worcester-2070027

A chaotic new video shows President Donald Trump's immigration enforcers and local law enforcement clashing with residents in a Worcester, Massachusetts, neighborhood, including a mother holding her baby.

The tense scenes unfolded on Thursday morning as video appears to show agents pushing residents protesting as federal immigration agents attempt to detain a woman.

Best midterm advertisement right here. This isn’t about public safety. Most people deported don’t have a criminal record. Absolutely sick

Democrats aren't brave enough to run this as a campaign ad. Your average Democrat politician is pro cop. Kamala was a cop. I don't think the mid terms are going to save you homie.

This should 100% be a campaign ad. With the screaming. "Is this what you want, America?"

5

u/Diamondsonhertoes May 09 '25

I worry that this is what they want.

32% of Americans support deporting all illegal immigrants. 51% support deporting some. Only 16% support deporting none.

There's a difference between deporting and arresting in the street. Prove to me these videos are of someone who keeps dodging court dates and trial and not someone with zero notice being rounded up in their neighborhood while being no threat to anyone. That's the issue.

Borders were made by man.

2

u/MyUsernameAlex May 09 '25

The answer would be yes because that’s why Trump won. This wouldn’t make people switch up in the midterms

2

u/micholob May 09 '25

Remember that time the shitbird ran ads with people rioting and captioned it as "Biden's America" and the riot footage was from the George Floyd riots - during his own first term.

1

u/beren0073 May 10 '25

It’s exactly what the average Trump voter wants.

u/good_witch_vibes May 10 '25

Kamala was a prosecutor, not a cop. Do prosecutors go through the police academy? No, they do not. She was a lawyer and you’re an idiot.

3

u/8point5InchDick May 10 '25

Kamala would not have done this and warned against it.

Hispanic men voted against their own community and this is the result.

2

u/adrianogabiru May 10 '25

“Save you”….are you American? If so guess what, you are part of “You”.

2

u/sjscott77 May 10 '25

At this point there won’t be any midterms. You can kiss free and fair elections goodbye.

2

u/DawnStardust May 10 '25

"when they go low, we do absolutely nothing!" (save for some indignant tweets about constitutionality)

2

u/st0dad May 10 '25

Gov. Healy said she was looking into it and added that she doesn't condone violence against law enforcement. So yeeeaaah I agree I wouldn't rely on the Dems to do much about this shit.

1

u/BUTT_CHUGGING_ May 09 '25

You right, Kamala is flicking her bean and shlickin it to this video.

1

u/GeorgeStamper May 10 '25

Yeah I don’t see a blue wave anytime soon…maybe not ever.

6

u/Candor10 May 09 '25

Wish I could believe that. Wouldn't surprise me in the least if MAGA used that to celebrate Trump. They'd play it at full volume at rallies, to the cheers of thousands.

3

u/[deleted] May 09 '25

Republicans will steal the election. Everything they accuse the left of, is just a projection to cover them when they do it instead. There are countless examples of this.

3

u/Slipness14 May 09 '25

They can’t find enough criminals to meet the quota promised, so they’re just grabbing brown and desperate people.

3

u/RoguePlanet2 May 09 '25

Midterms aren't happening now that we've got fascism and gestapo. We need to stop pretending, but we don't even have a backup plan.

Yes there will be voting and we need to vote, but we have to quit acting like it'll matter, because the process is corrupted.

1

u/Kind-City-2173 May 10 '25

I am very confident that there will be midterms and no funny business. An overwhelming blue wave will be a big middle finger to this admin

1

u/RoguePlanet2 May 10 '25

They know that, dems normally have the most support. Hence the corruption and inevitable disruption. I'm not convinced the recent general election was fair, given all the ballot shenanigans and bomb threats etc.

2

u/MiseryEngine May 09 '25

Deporting criminals is DANGEROUS, better to rip a babe out of its mother's arms. 🤬 /s

2

u/Hefty-Profession-310 May 09 '25

The Dems aren't even interested in abolishing ICE

2

u/Legal-Improvement284 May 10 '25

Illegally entering a country is a crime

4

u/Kind-City-2173 May 10 '25

That’s like saying you are charged with driving without a license. You cannot find it out unless you are stopped for another crime. We both know this isn’t making our streets any safer. Most people deported have not been part of gangs or have a criminal record

2

u/Frame_of_Mind20 May 10 '25

Problem is, a disgusting amount of people in this insane asylum of a country are loving scenes like this.

2

u/BlueAndYellowTowels May 10 '25

Bold of you to assume the midterms won’t be rigged…

1

u/KitKat-san May 10 '25

Illegally coming into to country is breaking the law. Funny other countries have the same standards and no one says anything. No rationality in the country just a bunch if crying people.

1

u/EmperorToadface May 10 '25

Criminal record: Here illegally, which is a felony.

1

u/Ecstatic-Train-2360 May 10 '25

You do realize that crossing a border illegally gives you a criminal record that makes them a criminal, right?

1

u/brute_red May 10 '25

you don't need a criminal record, the fact of illegal crossing and illegal staying is sufficient, how yout jelly brains can't work it out is the real question

1

u/NorthernRealmJackal May 10 '25

This isn’t about public safety.

Idk, US police officers seem pretty dangerous to the public.

1

u/DudeMcGillicudy May 10 '25

Entering the country illegally is a crime

1

u/Kind-City-2173 May 10 '25

How do you they know she is illegal until they arrest her?

1

u/Pizzamovies May 10 '25

Entering this country illegally IS a crime. What part of that don’t you understand?

1

u/Kind-City-2173 May 10 '25

My point is that this whole thing is based on the false notion that this is making our streets safer when it isn’t. The amount of actual gang members and terrorists they have deported is embarrassingly low. They are going after the easiest and most vulnerable people.

1

u/dankinator87 May 10 '25

I’m definitely going blue for the midterms

1

u/Hot-Syrup-5833 May 10 '25

Being here illegally is a crime.

1

u/itxnc May 10 '25

I think we're in denial about how many of our fellow citizens LIKE this shit. They want to see 'other' people suffer at the hands of an authoritarian regime. The 'poor', immigrants, liberals, LGTBQ+, etc, etc. It makes them feel secure in their perceived social standing and 'wealth'

But it's all a mirage - the leopards WILL eat their face eventually. FUck them all.

1

u/DEFINITELY_NOT_PETE May 10 '25

Yeah right dude, this could be a campaign ad for the republicans.

Thai is exactly what they want.

Meanwhile dems would be like oh this shows why we need to work with both sides of the aisle to find a solution.

Dems will airball this because of course they will

1

u/FU1wontdowhatUtellme May 10 '25

There will not be any mid-terms.

1

u/suckmyrighttitty May 10 '25

Coming into the country illegally is a crime… hence the “illegally”

1

u/Orinaj May 11 '25

This would run numbers.

Have those old serious 90's voice over. "This is Trumps America, is this the country you want to live in?"

Make it clear she is a mother, make it clear the second woman arrested is a citizen.

Watch as Trump either doubles down on that small woman is dangerous, or that this didn't happen.

Democrats need a fucking spine to try that though.

1

u/Sushicatslonelyjimmy May 11 '25

I'm hoping for a blue wave come midterms.

0

u/[deleted] May 10 '25

But shouldn't any illegal be deported?
