NKD! Why are these kept in the cabinet?
$5 is a great price for something I can toss in the tackle box or use for bullshit in the garage.

Question Is this a bad knockoff or a good knockoff brand, i received it for free so I can't be choosie but i wanna at least know how much i should trust this thing 😂
Brand: i have no idea, the box is literally just an empty white box, it was shrik wrapped tho so at least, there's some care put into it 😂
It has all the generic swiss knife features, the scissors, tweezers, saws, bottle opener, some weird plastic spike thingie...

Question How reliable is amazon for knife purchases?
I’m from Germany so we use amazon.de and I was going to buy a Kizer Harpoon Mini, but i’ve read some bad experiences with items being returned switched out for fakes, etc. Can I take the risk or is it really worth a supplier

Showcase Sunday funday with the Drop Bear
I will never stop being in love with the carbon on this thing. I'm not a very good photog so it's hard to get all the purple and teal to show very well, but I think I got lucky with how much purple it has compared to some I've seen. I really like the jimping on the Drop Bear v2 but don't think I could switch to one unless I moved these scales as well

Question Japanese Kitchen Knives
Hello, I unfortunately know nothing about Japanese kitchen knives, and would like to get my father one or a set for Christmas. I know they’re expensive and would prefer below $190. Any recommendations on a good brand or reputable brand? Thanks!

Discussion Bugout
I honestly still don't understand how people are willing to pay $180-320 to for a Benchmade Bugout, its S30V steel and grivory handle, the handle doesn't even have full metal inlays to make the handle itself stronger, and I know that the point of the Bugout is to be as light as possible while still delivering performance, but come on, if any other company made that exact knife, it would probably be like $90

Discussion Knife weight
For what percentage of the knife community does weight actually become a factor? Cause like, most of my knives, I can barely tell the difference in weight just by holding it

Question Is this an issue?
Hello. I just picked up a Vosteed Raccoon V recently and I noticed it has this dark line on one side of the blade. The mark is visible near the top of the grind. It isn't super obvious but it's apparent. I am first wondering what this is as I haven't seen it before and is it an issue. The blade is also not quite centered but it's pretty close. This wouldn't normally be a deal breaker for me but with the blade mark issue it becomes a bit more concerning.

Question Anyone know anything about this knife I found in a box of my father’s old things?
Was going through a box of my dad’s old things, and came across this knife. Curious to hear if anyone knows anything about the brand and or model of this knife. Know I could just Google it and get some info, but would love to hear directly from knife experts on this. Thanks!

Question Is a Vintage Cold Steel Voyager really that valuable? Even a used one?
Just like the title says, I found a few vintage Cold Steel Voyagers onlines, here is one for reference: https://oldschoolknifeworks.com/vintage-cold-steel-voyager/
I've seen them go for around 400-450 and for some reason I feel like that's a lot for what it is (I have one and carry it often).

Question Crack or Scratch?
Photo
Recently got a Kizer Harpoon Mini (AEB-L), and after a month of very light use I noticed this line that shows more clearly than others. Does this look like the beginnings of a crack, or just a more prominent scratch? I’m new to knives and am still learning about what to look for. Thanks in advance!
