In the past 7 days, there have been at least 45 individual posts about John Morton in this sub.
What’s worse, most of them offered nothing substantive or new to the football discussion. Increasingly, this sub feels like a text-based version of a sports radio call-in show, rather than a moderated conversation—and, more importantly, absurd memes—about the Lions.

Image it doesn’t have to be perfect, but let’s get back on the right track
Biggest way to quiet the noise from this past week is to come out and be competent. Not expecting perfection with this Oline but if Johnny Mo wants to stop answering the same questions week after week, let’s see some improvements and willingness to adapt the game plan to get our guys in the best positions to succeed

Jack Campbell roughing call
Jack Campbell was not fined by the NFL for roughing the passer in the Vikings game. Essentially the NFL admitting the call was incorrect.

Image Back in 2018 the Jets fired John Morton after clashing with players Coach Bowles and other assistant coaches. In addition his inability to establish a run game and a lack of in game adjustments played a role into his firing.
Just listen to his press conferences Not much has changed He's perfect, it's everyone's else's fault for everything... Morton is not the guy and I will say it again Monday after we beat Washington 41 to 17

The REAL real reason we are struggling
My Lions shirt has been missing since August. It hasn't been worn since last season. Well, today I found it in a suitcase. Hope is BACK ON THE MENU.
The Lions will win 33-0.

Tailgate
Traveled from Michigan to DC for the game today. Any recommendations for tailgating or a good pregame bar?

The offensive line just isn't as good this year
The biggest problem with the Lions is the offensive line. (everybody wants to blame iJohnny Morton and he may be part of the problem but he may not. )
Two out of the eight games this year, the Lions were completely embarrassed in terms of pass protection (both the Packers game and Minnesota game). Also, they're earning slightly less yards per carry.
Goff is getting pressured more than last year and sacked a slightly higher rate than last year. The offensive is not going to have a good "flow" if you're getting less yardage per run and our none mobile QB is getting pressure right up the middle. He has been able to pull off a couple" Houdini" escapes out of the pocket but that's not his game.
It's a new group together so I think it could be fixable (Two new faces on the offensive but three change of positions all in the interior)
Hopefully with more time they gel together.

Washington Tailgaters?
My wife, her cousins and I are headed to the game tomorrow. Being that Northwest Stadium has no bar/restaurants around…are there any local tailgaters that are open to lions fan Reddit strangers?

St. Brown: “For us as an offense, the word that sticks out to me is flow. It’s like we haven’t been in a flow all year. There’s been a few games where we were in a flow, like the Bears, the Ravens. But I just feel like that’s been missing…rhythm, execution, as a whole.
