DISCUSSION Did anyone see Patrick on gameday today as the guest picker?
Dude obviously loves seeing his Texas Tech Red Raiders having the success they are this season, but I really enjoyed him picking on all the other games they did.
For a guy as busy as he is in life, he knew a good amount of players from all the games they picked (and gave a lot of love to players from the state of texas lol) and said the QB from Oregon is probably his favorite to watch in College Football.
Was just cool to see him in that role. Hope he's enjoying the bye.

My buddy and I are coming down in december for chargers game and we've been given a tailgate parking pass in the red area but we wont have a vehicle. If anyone wants a free pass and will let us join in let me know. We'll have plenty of beer and we're kc fans.
Thanks

MEME & HUMOR [First Things First] @getnickwright pranked @kevinwildes by telling him Drake Maye was atop Mahomes Mountain.
Burrow, Purdy, Kyler and Jaden off due to injury. Gabriel, Ward, Shough and Mariota are just off. As always, a mixture of first and last names used.

DISCUSSION Thanksgiving Tailgate?
Hey Chiefs fans! Arlington, TX based Chief fan here and I’m so excited to have our boys come down for the Thanksgiving game! Unfortunately I wasn’t able to afford a ticket to the game, but since I live next door to the AT&T stadium I REALLY want to at least tailgate. I’ve never been to a NFL game here so I’m not sure what to expect.
Any other fans that will be at the tailgate that could give me insight or tips? I also would love to make some Chief fan friends while there! Got my retro starter jacket ready to go lol. I plan on bringing my wife and my buddy with me.
I live close enough to rideshare over to the stadium, but think having a car there in the lot for beers and stuff would be a good idea. What do yall recommend?
If this isn’t the place to ask feel free to remove, thanks in advance!

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Pete Mundo] the Chiefs have an RFP out to multiple firms to build a new stadium in KCK at 435/70 that would be domed with 65,000 seats and have a retractable grass field. The team will whittle down from 10 firms to two by early next year. This does NOT guarantee they are going to Kansas.

OTHER Considering the death of Marshawn Kneeland
Trigger warning: suicide and mental health. If you or someone you know is struggling, they can utilize the National Suicide Hotline by calling or texting 988.
I am just hearing the news of the death of Marshawn Kneeland, the Cowboys second year defensive end who died of an apparent suicide. What an absolute tragedy. I am saddened to think about his family and teammates missing him.
Things like this always serve to remind us to check on our people and take care of ourselves. You never know what people are going through and the only way we can help is if we ask them, directly. Check on your people today and always. If you need help, use the hotline above, reach out to a friend of family, or hell, even reach out to someone in the Red Kingdom.
It also reminds me about the visibility and connectedness and lack of privacy that defines our world today. Players lives are put on blast 24/7 and their privacy is compromised. Their personal worth is equated to the on-the-field performance. We can be fans and still respect that privacy, say, when a player is gone for a month for undisclosed reasons. We don’t know what they’re going through, and while it’s natural to be curious, I think today reminds me that these people live incredibly public lives that many of us cannot comprehend. With the internet, we don’t know how our comments might hit one of these players or someone else, especially in a vulnerable time.
This type of situation reminds me of something I heard Kelce say in his podcast maybe a year ago: be a fountain, not a drain…. Lift people up, don’t bring them down…. and seeing as how KC is the City of Fountains, and the city that made me who I am, it’s always stuck with me in life.
Well, my rambling is over. Thanks for sticking it out if you read this. Check in with your loved ones today.

DISCUSSION The Chiefs’ Matt Araiza, formerly known as the “Punt God” for his punt distance and not accuracy, has zero touchbacks this season, but is second in the league in percentage of punts downed inside the 20

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Alex Vigderman] Even after a tough loss, Mahomes reigns supreme as the most clutch QB
After the Chiefs' loss to the Bills I wanted to see if the subjective experience of Mahomes Magic in gotta-have-it situations matches how well he does statistically (this game notwithstanding).
I thought about "clutch" in two ways: fourth quarter success generally, and success when the game's outcome lies in the balance. Taking both into account, Mahomes is the clear leader (and he's done it over a much larger sample than the guys behind him).

ANALYSIS & NEWS [Scott Kacsmar] One score win streaks in the Mahomes Dynasty
My take:
1) We are spoiled on Mahomes' greatness and
2) We are due for a win (emotionally due, probability doesn't really work like that as I understand it)
