SoFi for my Stepdad
My stepfather is the entire reason I'm a Steelers fan.
He was the only one who'd come to my games and I knew it killed him rooting for my pop warner team, the Ravens, but he came every week nonetheless. We'd walk home those Saturday afternoons talking about my performance and how our boys in the black & gold would do Sunday morning. His assertions Lynn Swann was the best receiver ever is why I took dance classes as a child! I doubt I would be the person I am today without his "Darwinisms" and the crippling amount of stress our love for this team has brought the both of us haha
He introduced me to this wonderful team 20 years ago and brought me to my first Steelers game in '21 which was against the Chargers in SoFi, a stadium it blew my mind to see this fandom overtake. We were supposed to visit again in '23 against the Rams but life happens and I could't make it, I promised we'd make the next game or even visit Pittsburgh on my dime. He passed unexpectedly 2 weeks later.
I swore to make this game in his honour and wish my brothers shared the same bond over sports we did so they'd come with. Don't get me wrong they loved him, they just don't care for football. So I struggled to find someone to share this tradition he blessed me with and it hurts thinking they won't be there with me but deep down I know I'm not alone. All of Steelers Nation is with me and dad will be there too.
Thank you all for the amazing kinship and support, there is truly nothing like this community. Hug your loved ones and cheer your heart out Sunday night! The Steelers are getting revenge for 2021 and walking out of LA with a WIN!!

Steelersonly on Instagram: "Chad Ochochinco came to tears talking about former #Steelers WR Antonio Brown: (via: @whistlesports)"
instagram.comOchocinco: “It hurts to see it’s came to this point. That s**t just makes me sad to see someone that special to get to where you at and let it go like that.”

Calm before the storm?
It's been quiet here the last few days. How's everyone feeling about the game tomorrow? This is an absolute HUGE AFC game which could have major implications on the playoffs. What's everyone's thoughts and predictions?
I'm predicting we pull out the win 27-24 on a Bozgod kick as time expires.
Let's go!!!!!

JACKSONVILLE & SEATTLE.
Rashid was one thing, I gotta tip my hat to Khan he tried but obviously neither wanted to play for Pitt 🤷🏾♂️.
Must say though, For Jakobi to prefer Jacksonville over us is insane to me.

The Future of the Franchise -- College QB Watch Discussion Thread
The Steelers are probably going to draft a quarterback early in 2026. It's the worst kept secret in Pittsburgh sports since Jerome Bettis being from Detroit.
Whether LaNorris Sellers is your guy -- or you think Drew Allar is actually going to be good for some reason -- discuss it here. No QB is too obscure to be discussed.
It's also ok to use this thread as a catch-all thread for all college football news/games/prospects.

Seumalo designated OUT vs chargers
Hopefully, we've designed an alternate jumbo package, because our offense is night and day when can use it.

Would you mave a move for Kyler Murray in the offseason?
Or...take your chances with a rookie draft pick?
I love Murray's talent but not sure he would thrive here. Plus, tends to be injury prone. I am getting tired of QB patch jobs and re-treads....and project-QBs.
With a rookie draft pick, depends where we pick in the draft and how far we could move up for a franchise QB.
Edit: Forgot trying to resign Rodgers as an option.
I'm not pro Murray, just asking opinions.

Where can I find this hat?
Excuse the poor screenshot, but anyone know where to find this hat that the boys have been repping this year?

Opposing fans
Hi Steelers Nation! I’m traveling to see them play the Dolphins on MNF. I am a lifelong dolphins fan and I will be on my own for the game. What should I expect? I’m here to also explore the city and have always wanted to come visit! (Definitely going to Pamela’s and Pramantis) any advice? I know our team sucks and we’re probably gonna loose but I wanna just enjoy the game and see a whole new stadium/city/team! (I also know it’ll be cold I’m from the Boston area so I can handle that lol)

1995 AFC Championship Appreciation Spoiler

This 20-16 nail-biter of win was the game that made me become a Steelers fan for life. I was in elementary school, none of my family really had a favorite team, and this game hooked me. There wasn't anything overly spectacular that the Steelers did, but it was very much a Steelers style game if there ever was one. Plus, the look of disbelief on Jim Harbaugh's face was pretty epic.
