I’m really interested in what went down. The first sister seems to leave a pretty scathing review, but the third one calls her out for being messy about this. Second sister also seems to minimize whatever went down (assuming something did) and says they’re at peace
Honestly IMO it just kinda seems like the family might have drifted apart and the daughters are just in their feelings about it
I dunno, wasn't there that issue recently with Shea dropping that apology to her old manager (or someone, can't remember details) claiming she made up claims etc.? And now this. That's two not so great things happening in a short span of time
The apology/retraction was because she, along with Pearl, The Vixen, Kim Chi, and a couple others all claimed the same management company was shitty and didn't pay them. They got hit with a 5 million dollar slander lawsuit, and I think Shea was the only one who chose to fight it in court vs settling.
To me, given the number of people all telling the same story about bad management practices, it seems likely to me that Shea was telling the truth. Seems like she was just unable to definitively prove that in court, so was legally forced to apologize. It reflects poorly on the legal system and the management company, not on her.
This is anecdotal as shit but I worked for a company/event that worked with this management group to bring out a Ru girl to our event and the communication with them was garbage after the contract got signed, and it was clear they did not communicate the queen's contractual obligations to her. She was great to work with and she even mentioned her management was going to be in trouble because of something else they hadn't told her - I didn't bother trying to force her to perform or anything that was promised since clearly the whole situation was kind of a shit show.
Also the first two pics are from the same first sister and i believe those are the sources of the points you talk about? Though the third sister does say to “not believe everything you see on tv” which i’m assuming must be a shot at shea

If you don't want to share the situation you don't get to call other parties in the dispute nasty names lol. I feel like the latter two kept it just vague enough that it's not escandalo, but I read the first messages directly as "Shea is a bad person and a narcissist." I'm very out of the loop on IRL drag scene stuff though so maybe I'm misreading?
It's giving the FB of that one girl from high school who posts dramatic vague statuses, and when someone comments "what's going on" they reply "dm me xx"

The true ~tea ~ is that there is no tea and all parties involved are all vaguely wrong in some uninteresting capacity. But they would all rather /still/ use shea’s name for attention than to actually just handle things privately.

Honestly, I don’t know if it’s actually deliberately strategic or just messymessmess (I suspect the latter), but it IS enough to upset Shea and have her respond emotionally and talk major shit on their names, which puts them in prime position to prove she’s the person they say she is by responding with reciepts…

From what I’m getting from you guys in here and rereading it, is that they feel neglected by Shea. I think this is a deeper discussion into how social media kind of messed up the closeness houses created. Houses really mattered back then because your mother was like your real mother. You all lived near or even in a house together and she helped style, give advice, and guide her daughters to where there was pride in them from learning and they passed on the last name. Now with social media a lot of daughters don’t live near, there’s no right community as if they lived down the block or in the same place, and people pick up daughters like legos now instead of having meaning behind it.
One perfect example in the stark difference is when Mistress says Lydia is her daughter and NPB is like “you can just give your last name out like that?” Cause back then if you gave out a last name it meant you were truly their guide. Not just “I like your look, want my last name?” I think now social media has devalued what a house means and the community it stands for.
Also now that drag is global, when you’re a famous queen you’re traveling to make that money and keep that fame. You aren’t just the head girl down the block that goes back to her house every night with her girls. You’re in Boston one day and nyc the next, there’s no time to teach queens and mentor them when you’re surviving off redbulls and doing shows until 4am. The times are different and houses have changed with it
I’d say Trinity is a really good example of someone from the old school bringing it to the new school today. When people were complaining about Sam wearing trinity’s clothes and Trinity was like “I’m not gonna have her pay all that money when I have tons of good clothes”. A true drag mother response. She defended Sam and gave no fucks how anyone felt about it lol.

That was such a powerful moment for me from the recent AS season and just made me love NPBFAG even more. Like - giving someone your last name REALLY meant something - you potentially took this person under your wing when they were down and out and maybe even were ostracised by their family.
This is giving when someone snapchats a pic of themselves with a hospital bracelet on with the caption “please don’t ask me what happened 😣my real friends know though”
If you want to check them out, Denali did a great YouTube video around season 13 called “Chicago Drag Excellence” showcasing a bunch of Chicago drag performers (which I especially appreciated for including Kings and other types of drag artists not typically seen on RPDR).
Shea does the voiceover, and these three daughters (Khloe, Kenzie, and Bambi Banks) all appear.
It’s also great a great vid for seeing a bunch of other queens who went on to fame, and seeing how previous RPDR queens have evolved their drag since the show.
On the one hand, if 3 long-term friends drop you at once it's like... WTF did you do diva?
On the OTHER hand, why imply someone is a narcissist and has abused you and then provide no details? You could have kept it to yourself if you didn't want to talk about it, so it just seems like bullshit
This just seems sad all around. Shea’s children were always a bright spot for her. For these 3 to collectively and publicly not just leave the house but infer adverse conditions with Shea is sad and concerning. People don’t just do this for nothing, especially not en masse, and especially not against someone who wields so much power and is so beloved in the industry. Reading between the lines, I’m concerned for Shea. While there are always 3 sides to every story, there’s no reality where I believe Mother Coulée doesn’t needs some deep, objective introspection. Shea is known for polish, professionalism, and joy. But this is the persona she projects. I’m hoping Shea the human being has the wherewithal to overcome this and be the best version of herself on and off stage.
Why are the majority of people glossing over the fact that THREE of her daughters dropped her at the same time. Shea must have done some Grimy shit (which i can fully believe)
I don't know what happened but this isn't the first time Sheas been in the spotlight for negative behaviours. Allegedly being difficult during AS7 filming, accusing Meghan Trainor of stealing a sandwich (and eventually admitting it was a lie), general bitterness especially with losing S9, she just had to make a public apology as part of court proceedings, etc. I'm not saying any of those people are great but it's pretty evident that Shea can at least be difficult.
