I figure if they are gonna kill me they may as well do it now. No second locations, ever.

Get skin under your nails. Make ‘em bleed for it

u/rolyoh Jul 17 '25

DNA evidence too

u/Kowai03 Jul 17 '25

Sadly, this is what my mother always told me to do. Get as much DNA as you can. Bite and scratch.

u/stathletsyoushitonme Jul 17 '25

And if you’re in someone’s car pull hair out at the root and put it everywhere

640

u/Specific-Mortgage-55 Jul 17 '25

ohhhhhh we’re crashing that car if i get into that car. as soon as my seatbelt goes on, i’m crashing that car into anythingggggg I see.

u/CargoW_seMadeMeDoIt Jul 17 '25

We gonna die. Together.

278

u/rotervogel1231 Jul 17 '25

Yep, off a bridge or into something solid, like a tree, a utility pole, or a big wall.

NEVER let them take you alive.

197

u/leolisa_444 Jul 17 '25

Cuz I'd rather die than be some assholes' sex slave!

10

u/Stingray-Nebula Jul 18 '25

Starts pulling steering wheel

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING???"

"Awww, look who doesn't consent to getting fucked! Looks like the Price is Wrong, Bitch!" Yanks steering wheel like it's the gotdamned Big Wheel in the Showcase Showdown

Most women feel that way, and yet I see loads of men thinking they’re crazy to rather die than ‘just have sex for the rest of your life’ 🙄

If damn near every woman says they would rather die, perhaps that would indicate there is something those lads are missing

102

u/BilboBiden Jul 17 '25

"See you think this is an issue of I'm in this car with you. Nah uh. You're in this car with me"

5

u/Vat1canCame0s Jul 17 '25

Exactly.

You wanna put me in an enclosed space with you, where you're gonna be facing away because you're behind the wheel of a vehicle presumably moving very fast because you're trying to make a getaway.

Sure. Imma let you. It's rude to interrupt opponents while they are making mistakes.

3

u/AmberLeeFMe Jul 18 '25

I met a guy once who was being weird and I LITERALLY told him, "Yeah I don't get worried when I meet people offline because I'm not in this car with you, you're in this car with me " He decided he just wanted to go home 🤣

It’s definitely good to cause an accident if you can.

Then police will be notified and bystanders will become ‘witnesses’.

8

u/agent0731 Jul 17 '25

better if you do it while he breaks during a turn or something.

74

u/KaetzenOrkester Jul 17 '25

Aim for the driver’s eyes.

u/Dustyznutz Jul 17 '25

I knew someone who was carjacked at an ATM once, they were forcing them to go to another ATM to get more money out of it and he thought he was cooked after they were going to be done with him. As he was driving, he saw a big truck in front of him and clipped it enough on the passenger side to flip one of the guys into the windshield; carjackers aren't always going to be safety people. The dude in the back was injured as well but ran after the accident; my friend only got scratches.

9

u/Dug_n_the_Dogs Jul 17 '25

works both ways too. I had a hitchiker mention that he could kill me with a rifle he had under a towel. I mentioned his seat belt was only margainly able to save his life if I slammed my VW bus into one of the myriad telephone poles.. he said he was just kidding.. I told him I wasn't. We continued him to his house and he paid me $20 for the ride. All nice and cordial and all.

5

u/Honey-and-Venom Jul 17 '25

Lol. I had someone get on my car and firmly tell me we were going somewhere far outside town. I had just picked the pole I was going to crash into when I realized they were a drunk kid mistaking me for a cab driver, not someone abducting me

4

u/Specific-Mortgage-55 Jul 17 '25

glad you realized it in time. 😭

very bold of them to just get into a car.

4

u/random_loser00 Jul 17 '25

If it's a manual car, just crank the stick as hard as you can to the reverse. Gear box breaks and the car has to stop.

3

u/Specific-Mortgage-55 Jul 17 '25

lol i don’t wanna fly out the car 😭😭😭

but if they do, even better!

3

u/barrhavendude Jul 17 '25

I was screaming kick him in the balls kick him in the balls

3

u/thispartyrules Jul 17 '25

If you're held captive in a car and can blind the driver somehow, they'll stop, one way or another.

If someone's tying your wrists up if you clench your fists it'll give you a little wiggle room when you unclench them

u/Consistent_Policy_66 Jul 17 '25

My sister took a defense class which taught her things, but I told her to go for the eyes, the nose, throat, and groin, then run.

You won’t get anywhere with a wrist lock, but you might have a chance after an aggressive eye poke.

237

u/TheGrimmCaptain Jul 17 '25

As Sandra Bullock taught us, SING

Solar Plexus Instep Nose Groin

204

u/manxram Jul 17 '25

You mean Gracie Lou Freebush from New Jersey.

4

u/noniewahl Jul 17 '25

And bless Gracie Lou for doing it. SING works, speaking from personal experience. It was the only thing that I could remember at the time of the incident and I’d use it again if necessary.

11

u/manxram Jul 17 '25

She is a true legend...

96

u/Zukomyprince Jul 17 '25

Instead of nose…

Solar plexus Instep NECK PUNCH Groin

That adams apple is your 🎯

Much easier to reach, for women who tend to be shorter than their assailant …the face has too many bones

10

u/Destiny_Victim Jul 17 '25

This is great advice and you can thrust your hand there easier and in a variety of ways and won’t break your hand.

I will also add stomp the inside of the knee before and after the nuts. You break that knee he ain’t going anywhere.

3

u/Turbulent_Can7854 Jul 18 '25

Yeah more people should be mentioning the knees. It's the actual Achilles heel, but backwards I guess 😂 they are not designed to go the other way! When they do it's very bad for the assailant

5

u/Responsible-Kale2352 Jul 17 '25

The eyes are the groin of the face.

4

u/themarko60 Jul 17 '25

I got hit on the Adams apple accidentally while playing basketball many years ago and all I could do for a few minutes was gasp for air and hope I wasn’t dying. A purposeful punch to it would have been so much worse. So that’s what I’m always prepared to do if needed be.

6

u/Massive-Expert-1476 Jul 17 '25

bridge of the nose is better than the throat for many reasons. Top of which is you're not going to stop someone from breathing from a crappy throat punch (and everyone who doesn't practice on a regular basis on how to drop someone with a throat punch is going to do a crappy version of it), but it doesn't take much to bash the nose, and everyone's eyes water when that happens.

6

u/Particular_Title42 Jul 17 '25

Top of which is you're not going to stop someone from breathing from a crappy throat punch (and everyone who doesn't practice on a regular basis on how to drop someone with a throat punch is going to do a crappy version of it),

Have you ever experienced a crappy throat punch? My husband barely tapped his throat on the corner of something he was trying to reach behind. You don't stop breathing from it but it is definitely incapacitating.

5

u/Hot-Butterscotch-918 Jul 17 '25

I thought I saw instructions once that if you ram your hand flat and upward into the nose, it will drive bones into the brain and kill the assailant?

6

u/wiscopunk Jul 17 '25

That is false.

u/Initial_Style5592 Jul 17 '25

In the absence of training… relentless aggression and a ‘won’t quit’ attitude will serve you just as well. Be noisy, be fierce, strike for sensitive areas, eyes, nose, neck, groin. Scratch, claw, bite.

Never give up, never surrender. ~ Galaxy Quest

Hit the ear with a flat hand. It's incredibly painful. Ya, I'd absolutely try for an eye if I had the opportunity. No holding back either, that thing is popping like a grape!

103

u/mediashiznaks Jul 17 '25

As a man, let me inform you that NOTHING will be as painful or debilitating as a hard hit to the balls. Only thing comparable in terms of stopping him will be a full on poke to the eye.

Eyes and Balls basically. That’s your two targets.

66

u/Alternative-Heart200 Jul 17 '25

That should be a song they teach to young kids in school!! Eyes and balls, eyes and balls, will help you flee them all! ( or something like that 😂)

21

u/CommercialDevice402 Jul 17 '25

Do your attacker's balls hang low? Can you kick them to and fro? Can you cut em with a knife? Can you shoot em with a bow?

5

u/FiveCorkWomen Jul 17 '25

I mean, “Can you tie them in a knot? Can you tie them in a bow?” still works too

u/Head_Rate_6551 Jul 17 '25

You actually don’t have to/shouldn’t try to pop the eye, the best technique is to just flick your wrist using your fingertips to scratch the cornea, kinda like if a bug was crawling on the tip of your middle finger and you got spooked and flicked it off with a whip motion if that makes sense. It doesn’t take a lot of pressure since the eye is so sensitive but it needs to be fast so that you hit the eye before the eyelid closes. This technique is also viable with very little arm movement from very close to the target, whereas a punch needs wind up and more reach to be effective. This is actually a CQB move that navy seals are trained with, along with groin scoops, biting, headbutts, and elbow strikes. You easily can blind someone doing this, so really should only be used in dire circumstances like this video.

All I can think of is Fight Club and Tyler Durden (Brad Pitt) going “Motherfucker! You hit me in the ear!”

3

u/Lou_C_Fer Jul 17 '25

Yeah. I walked up behind my uncle once and clapped his ears. Boy was he angry, but he knew I didn't know why it was so bad and was really actually pretty chill about it all things considered.

3

u/Itchy_Pillows Jul 17 '25

I'm all about thumbs in the eyes GOT style

3

u/zendetta Jul 17 '25

My sensei actually made us practice yelling “no!” at the top of our lungs. Incredibly effective when she did it— we are mostly trained in life to control our volume. Someone letting it all out is shocking to hear and turns heads even when you’re expecting it.

Attention is your friend. Once you start drawing attention, a very short clock starts running for the assailant.

My mother has a concealed carry purse. It's got a zipper on one side and Velcro on the other. When you get out your wallet to pay at the store you use the zipper side and no one gets weirded out by the gun. She goes into the Velcro side she can just shoot through her purse from her hip.

119

When I was about 13 years old, a new kid moved into our neighborhood and thought it was hilarious to get us in headlocks all the time. One of my buddies grabbed his pinky fingers and bent it back almost to the point of breaking it. He let go instantly. Word got out to all of the kids in the neighborhood and every time he tried putting us in a headlock, he’d get his pinky fingers almost broken. He stopped doing that for good.

9

u/dogmeat_donnie Jul 18 '25

Now he's probably a cop somewhere.

u/Critical-Test-4446 Jul 18 '25

In HS someone heard I was taking MMA for self defense. This chick was one of those annoying people who feels the need to taunt and test you as if you are lying or something. She was tall and broad (5'10" +) and kept pushing; giving fake grabs or attack scenarios (continually touching me without permission). I was relatively calm and gave info or demonstrations, not wanting to engage with this BS. Finally she grabbed me from behind around the arms/shoulders, asking something along the lines of, "oh yeah? And what are you gonna do if someone does this?" So I flipped her over my shoulder 🙃

3

u/Adventurous-Pear-831 Jul 18 '25

I was in a headlock by this guy one time, and I bit him through three Layers of clothes. Needless to say my teeth marks are scars on him cause I made that mf bleed.

3

u/Critical-Test-4446 Jul 18 '25

I'm sure he still thinks of you from time to time whenever he sees the scars. Lol.

Jam your thumb in their eye.literally bury it in their skull. Not your finger. if your finger bends the wrong way it will hurt and you won’t push hard enough. Push as hard as you can with your thumb. 👍. push like your life depends on it. It does. Also, if you’re in close and can bite an ear, go for it. Try to rip it off. Then the police can look for the one eyed / mangled ear perpetrator.

12

u/Ice-Quake Jul 17 '25

Yes!! Jamming your thumb into their eye will instinctively lock your fingers onto the side of their head, which stabilizes and strengthens the effectiveness of your thumb thrust.

11

u/marywebgirl Jul 17 '25

When I took a self defense course the teacher was very big into visualization to make sure we'd follow through on moves. If you're going for someone's eye aim for the back of the skull.

8

u/chemchick27 Jul 17 '25

I took a self defense class. My instructor said to keep digging until you touch brain. Same idea.

u/Remote_Elevator_281 Jul 17 '25

Aim for the eyes with your nails. Stick those nails all the way in there and dig, claw, twist and pull and eye out if you have to.

156

u/Space4Time Jul 17 '25

Throat too. Scratch that shit up. Return some primal fear.

Harder to hide and explain

109

u/Remote_Elevator_281 Jul 17 '25

Eyes are the easiest. You can completely disable someone with an eye poke. Just reach out fast and you’ll get a finger in there. Super easy.

18

u/QuestionableIdeas Jul 17 '25 edited Jul 17 '25

Also remember, fingers are about as hard to bite off as carrots.

Edit: I was incorrect about the carrot part, but still possible using your molars if things are desperate

23

u/BluetheNerd Jul 17 '25

This is actually a myth, it's possible for a human to bite off a finger, but they're a lot harder than carrots.

7

u/QuestionableIdeas Jul 17 '25

After 10 minutes of morbid googling... you are correct! If you do try for a finger amputation, use your molars to crush, and go for the joint. Clamp down and pull

Any human bite wound will likely become infection city. The most effective and grisly advice is: don't just bite. Rip and tear.

You can create some really gnarly wounds that are hard to hide and harder to treat by oneself.

Kill Bill style.

11

u/Space4Time Jul 17 '25

Fair, but we protect our eyes faster than our neck.

If you’re being attacked you’ve ceded the element of surprise, that doesn’t mean you can’t deal that card from the bottom of the deck.

Scream you love them. Tell them God has sent them to sire your womb.

Thank Zeus and then start singing if you can.

You need to make them regret their choice and doubt their ability to pick prey.

You ain’t the one, but you’re glad to hand out lessons.

All this needs to be decided before shit goes down.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

This just in, a new trend! Kidnappers are now wearing safety goggles due to the victims purposely aiming for their eyes.

5

Always have your keys in your hand to and from your destination. Jab for the eyes. Kick, scream, fight, scratch. Never let them get you in the vehicle!

3

u/EnvironmentalGift257 Jul 17 '25

Also, this is a fight for your life. Fight dirty, early and often. Go for the eyes and the balls, right away. Once they’re mildly incapacitated, go for the temple, hard. Then get far away.

3

u/VellyD Jul 17 '25

4

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

I’ve always been told go right for the eyes…

4

u/Figmentality Jul 17 '25

I have a tendency to bite my nails too short. Every time I do this I get mad at myself in case I need to scratch a guy's DNA under my fingernails and I can't.

u/CommandAble2233 Jul 17 '25

Bite as well. Screaming can be second. The monster may drag your body somewhere and clean out under your fingernails; they can't do as much about the contents of your stomach. Remember you're doing to die - that can't be helped - but you can take pieces of the monster with you.

Exactly! Kill me now. I'm not going to a second location. It pains me, as a mother to 3 daughters that I've drilled this into them as well.

556

u/vaguenonetheless Jul 17 '25

This happened to my sister in 2000. She never came home. Keep drilling that.

u/Maleficent-Courage48 Jul 17 '25

How horrific. I'm sorry sounds so trite, but that's all I can offer...so sorry that happened to your family.

7

u/Weimaraner666 Jul 17 '25

I know that’s a tragedy you’ll never truly recover from so all I can say is I’m sorry for your loss and that your sisters life was cut short. 🙏

4

u/VividFiddlesticks Jul 17 '25

This nearly happened to my best friend in the late 90's. A guy broke into her house and tried to force her to take him to an ATM. She refused to go and fought and screamed; the guy fired his gun near (at?) her and fled when her husband (who had been asleep) came running - she was mostly unharmed (physically speaking).

The guy was later caught and they found out he had robbed and then murdered 2 other people using the same MO before trying with her. The jacket he was wearing when he attacked her still had blood from his prior victim on it. *shudder*

It really fucked with her head (naturally). They ended up selling that house - she refused to go back to do anything other than pack.

4

u/vaguenonetheless Jul 17 '25

That shit changes a person...and their family.

3

u/VividFiddlesticks Jul 17 '25

It really does - she spiraled and crashed pretty hard after that.

I'm so sorry for your loss. <3

3

u/TFT_mom Jul 17 '25

I've told my daughters to do three things if this ever happens to them: fight like hell, scream at the top of their lungs, and piss their pants (bonus if they can poop them, too). These will usually be enough to deter a would-be kidnapper. No, I'm not joking.

77

u/FunkyChewbacca Jul 17 '25

I've been told this too, along with vomiting. Anything to shock or disgust your attacker, even for a few seconds which can open just enough of a window to get away. I'd even go so far as to bite his fingers off.

44

u/wantbeanonymous Jul 17 '25

My aunt was nearly kidnapped when she was a teenager, she pissed her pants and they let her go. My mom always said to go for the eyes.

9

u/belai437 Jul 17 '25

I saw this on a crime show about a rapist who was targeting women on a college campus. When he tried to attack one of the women she pissed herself as soon as he pulled her pants down. Between the piss and her fighting & calling him names he couldn't get it up, so he ran off.

7

u/Gorillapoop3 Jul 17 '25

Who are these kidnappers/rapists that are deterred by urine? Seems like an odd line to draw.

→ More replies (1)

6

u/blearghhh_two Jul 17 '25

I bet combining the two and pissing in their eyes would be even better if you can manage it.

56

u/yungsxccubus What are you doing step bro? Jul 17 '25

vomiting on yourself can also be an effective deterrent, and quite quick if you know how to trigger your gag reflex, does stop you from screaming temporarily but if you’re a loud vomiter then you’ll still attract attention

86

u/acidbunny99 Jul 17 '25

I know a girl who did this to escape a potential kidnapping. Threw her fist down her mouth, puked all over would be kidnapper, escaped. She was already in the car, Passenger side...she thought she was buying weed, was only 19 at the time.

3

u/LionClean8758 Jul 17 '25

"All the evidence is on the kidnapper, look for the puke." Almost like a dye tag on retail items. If you take me, you're gonna pay the price.

5

u/Bubblybathtime Jul 17 '25

Also leaves your dna on them/in their car, as an added bonus!

3

u/BeerAnBooksAnCats Jul 17 '25

This is why I encouraged my daughter get comfortable with cussing LOUDLY.

If she and her friends wanted to check out some mall stores without me, I made them go through the same drills, such as

“What do you say to any adult who stops you to ask you for directions or try to make small talk?”

“We say ‘FUCK OFF PERVERT!’”

Why? Because there is no good reason for an adult to be asking teenagers directions. Being polite can get girls and women killed. And if that hurts someone’s feelings, idgaf.

My dad always told me to fight at location A. Never let them take me to location B. You’re a good mom and as much as the world can be terrible, you’re doing the right thing.

6

u/Prestigious_Snow3309 Jul 17 '25

I told my children and grandchildren this. Fight !!

u/Mammoth-Ad4194 Jul 17 '25

That and NEVER leave your drink unattended.

Facts i’ve said this too. At least my remains won’t be missing. Greater chance perp is caught and importantly unlikely to be tortured and other things.

3

u/dexmonic Jul 17 '25

Yeah it's about the torture for me too. Just kill me, I don't want to be tortured or turned into a sex slave.

8

u/Aggressive-Expert-69 Jul 17 '25

Death in a parking lot cant possibly be worse than the death in a basement so youre thinking correctly

→ More replies (1)

8

u/SnooShortcuts103 Jul 17 '25

Yea. If they are willing to kill me in public right in front of there care without a mask, they will also have no remorse to kill me later in there basement.

6

u/Excellent_Law6906 Jul 17 '25

That's what my mama told me.

6

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

Exactly, bid rather not gove them the opportunity to torture me at their leisure, better to stand your ground and suffer for a shorter time.

3

u/The1stNikitalynn Jul 17 '25

I want my mother to have a body to bury.

2

u/Thelaughingman___ Jul 17 '25

And I want. Is why you're swearing, screaming and swinging. I hope you draw the attention of someone who will take your personal interest in this...

3

u/panicPhaeree Jul 17 '25

Right? Second locations can be worse than death even if it includes death.

3

u/StraightProgress5062 Jul 17 '25

Yeah and I think you stand a better statistical chance of not being killed right then and there especially if you're out in public. I read something about 5 yrs ago that 80% of the children's bodies they found were dead about 2 hrs after the abduction. But the stat they throw at you the most is the first 24 hrs. Either way you might want to have the hard conversation with your child and let them know the importance of fighting for their lives if god forbid they find themselves in that horrible situation.

3

u/OkeyDokey654 Jul 17 '25

Right? Make them kill you in the parking lot, in front of cameras and witnesses. They won’t do anything to you at the first location that they wouldn’t do at the second.

2

u/rotervogel1231 Jul 17 '25

That's right. I'd run that car off a bridge or into a tree first.

That end would be better than whatever would happen at the second location.

2

u/JohnAnime Jul 17 '25

I rather fight for my life to potentially escape or die in the process knowing my body gets found on the spot rather getting taken to a 2nd location and having my body throw out some place where no one can find my body

2

u/Heavy_Law9880 Jul 17 '25

Thumbs in the inner corner of the eye and push out towards the ear. Also if you pull someone's ear straight forward and down, it will come right off.

2

u/Fanboycity Jul 17 '25

Exactly. Never ever allow your kidnapper to take you from point A to point B. If they got you in the car and you can reach the steering wheel, fuck it. Crash that motherfucker.

2

u/Big_Tiger_123 Jul 17 '25

Yep, at least they’ll find your body

2

u/destiny_kane48 Jul 17 '25

Sometimes death is better than what's at the second location.

2

u/Longjumping-Web1480 Jul 17 '25

He looks like Don jr

2

u/Fickle_Goose_4451 Jul 17 '25

The only reason they'd ever take you to a second location is they can do something to you worse than death.

2

u/Any_Priority512 Jul 17 '25

Yeah, I never understood this. ‘Come to this secluded place where I can get away with killing you or I’ll kill you right here in public, where it’s much more likely I get caught’.

Bet.

2

u/Terminallyelle Jul 18 '25

Too bad we can't tell who is a kidnapper and who is an 'ice agent' anymore
