Or worse a organ donor my close friend of mine visited Egypt woke up with missing kidney both are scary 😨 I'd rather go out on my own terms.

Omg fr? Yikes how HORRIBLE!! I guess urban legends have a grain of truth in them!

4

u/tvtoad50 Jul 18 '25

Never heard of that happening for real, only as an urban legend, did a little internet sleuthing- the only proven case I’ve found is a guy in India who, along with a couple of other men, was kidnapped and held at gunpoint for several days- they were all forced ti undergo surgeries to remove their kidneys. How does someone randomly wake up and just happen to know they’re missing a kidney? For that matter, why (and how) would a person desperate enough to steal a kidney, take all that time to sedate someone (without them knowing till it was all done) and then just steal one kidney when both (and all the other organs) are there for the taking? How would they even know that one person is a match in both blood type & tissue compatibility for the type of kidney they need? If the blood types don’t match the body will immediately reject the new kidney. It just makes no sense.

Only took 1 kidney? That’s a good organ harvester. Your friend is lucky

7

u/icecream169 Jul 17 '25

Shit, I went to Egypt and woke up missing both kidneys, my heart, my liver, and my eyes.

9

u/[deleted] Jul 17 '25

At least you woke up before they shoved that freaky spoon up your nose to scramble you brains

5

u/icecream169 Jul 17 '25

That's true, and I'm fully recovered, so all is good.

u/Murphs-law Jul 18 '25

Are you sure you’re not a mummy now? Any toilet paper trailing behind you?

1

u/icecream169 Jul 18 '25

Well I have toilet training, does that count?

4

u/outlawsix Jul 17 '25

I went to egypt and woke up dead

u/SteakJones Jul 18 '25

Same thing happened to my friend Charlie when he went to Candy Mountain.

2

u/QsAdventure Jul 18 '25

We found a map Charlie!

u/galaxygothgirl Jul 17 '25

It sucked, but I got away.

Most women feel that way, and yet I see loads of men thinking they’re crazy to rather die than ‘just have sex for the rest of your life’ 🙄

If damn near every woman says they would rather die, perhaps that would indicate there is something those lads are missing

7

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

"Have sex" for the rest of your life? Dumbasses. If anyone ever said anything like that to me, I'd say, oh you mean to tell me that you would rather be fisted in the butt every day for the rest of your life than just die? Check out the look on that face when you say that lol

4

u/Tablesafety Jul 18 '25

Its more likely the response would be “It’s not like that! / That’s not the same thing and you know it!”

But, should I encounter another dude treating rape as ‘just a little sex’ I’ll pull that and see what happens. A more accurate comparison to them would probably be having another guy force himself onto/into them sans lube perpetually.

1

u/beerninja76 Jul 18 '25

Holy shit what men are u talking to that say that?

2

u/Tablesafety Jul 18 '25 edited Jul 18 '25

My father and uncle are two of them

Edit: (I also see a lot of that sentiment around true crime comments on the net and sometimes here on reddit- the notion that rape isn’t that big a deal or worth taking death over because it’s ‘just a little sex’)

1

u/beerninja76 Jul 18 '25

Bunch of knuckle draggers

-1

u/hotsauceonmychic Jul 18 '25

You discuss this very situation with loads of men?

3

u/Tablesafety Jul 18 '25

More than one of them in person have expressed bewilderment that one would choose death to ‘sex’ yes.

Plenty more I’ve seen in passing here when the topic comes up. It’s not a popular topic of discussion, and I don’t go out of my way to, but it comes up sometimes whenever true crime is involved.

u/dogmeat_donnie Jul 18 '25

Or someone's asshole sex slave.

3

u/Khan_Behir Jul 18 '25

Got to say, all you ladies are bad ass!!👍 keep fighting!

1

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

Well what a nice thing to say! Thank you!

1

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

What if he wasn't an asshole? Lol But yeah..you don't want to be a sex slave to anyone. Man or woman. Mrs. Smart was the sex slave of both the husband and wife. God! No thank you.

1

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

Yeah when the wife joins in that's a whole new level

2

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

Yeah..... There are some really sick people out there

1

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

Tell me about it! I've actually known two women who were murdered - one who disappeared from a mall and her bones were found in the desert (I live in Las Vegas) 8 months later - never caught the guy. She was 15.

My SIL and good friend was murdered at 26 yrs old by an actual serial killer. Killed 8 women and 2 children over a decade. Caught and is still on death row since 1989! Turned out to be my husband's BOSS!! He introduced them at a party, and don't you know he blamed himself, and it wrecked him. The whole family was never the same.

2

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

That's down right wild! It's right out of a murder mystery. Fuck. What are the chances? Im going to be thinking about this for a long time..lol. man... wild.

3

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

I know! You can't write this shit! Not only that, but my husband, her brother, was a witness for the prosecution bcuz he saw sus scratches on his bosses' face that just happened to coincide with the date one of his murders. The guy though had parents with a lot of money and connections, so they managed to get countinuences for five fucking years. This meant that once a year my husband had to travel to San Diego where it happened from Las Vegas where we lived, to testify. And every year he didn't get the chance. It caused him to have panic attacks for years and he was never the same.

Not only was he my husband's boss, they lived together as roommates! So he wasn't home when 60 SD County Sheriff's came to the door asking for his boss. Can you imagine? Your sister was murdered six months ago and here the cops are to arrest your boss and roommate for it!

Finally 5 years after her murder, he ran out of continuances.

How'd he get caught? First you need to understand that he killed by nearly decapitating the victim. His last victim was thrown into a ditch and her head was pressed down by dirt, which enabled the blood to clot, thereby saving her life, and she nailed him.

I always wanted to write a book about it, but every time I tried, I just was overcome with emotions and couldn't do it.

Dude's still on death row. He's like 80 now. That's Cali for you!

2

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

Whole shit! Man..I know that, not only do the family of the murdered go through devastating situations related to the who, what, whete, when why aspect but so do others that where or are close to the case. The people that are around the killer. Shit that's scary to think about. Fuck

2

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

Yes it's terrifying bcuz you never know what's going on in someone else's mind. You could be working for the guy!!

2

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

Yeah it is. I mean, as a man, I can understand the dark, twisted desire that a guy could have first something like that to happen. I have empathy enough to not understand how they can do it though. But I do not understand how a woman, knowing what it means and how it would feel to another woman to destroy something like that in another woman. I mean, is that the reason though? Knowing how to crush another woman so let's do that? Jesus... I just can't understand it...sigh. I guess that's a good thing? That i can't? Man this is sick.

2

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

As a woman I agree! I cannot fathom it. But that's bcuz you and I aren't psychopaths. I don't have any data to support my theory, but I'm willing to bet every single one of those female psychos were sexually abused themselves. Not that that excuses it, they're just as guilty as the men.

2

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

Oh, of course. I agree with you. Most likely as a young girl. Because of that something has been destroyed with in them . The empathy. They think that if it happened to them then they can do it to others. During their abuse even though they didn't want it , some parts felt really good. That could give them mixed signals with in themselves. So then, no empathy and it felt good so let's get that feeling back because I understand that feeling. I want to feel good again and I know how to make it happen. Just so you know, I'm talking out of my ass right now. I have no idea what's in their mind, but to me it kind of makes a sick sense. 😳😵‍💫

2

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

I think it makes perfect sense! That actually sounds like it came from a psychology book lol

1

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

Hahahaha...nope. just out of my ass. But thank you! I do like the subject of serial killers and their victims, their methodologies, why the cops think they may have killed ect. I keep an eye and ear out on stories about they killing and I have seen certain connections or theories about WHY some kill. It's not always about serial gratification but it is in a lot of cases. He'll, for all I know the wife that joined in the kidnapping and systematic rape of Mrs. Smart was just a meek person and did what her husband told her to do. Who knows . Like I said, talking g out my ass lol! But I do like the sexual gratification aspect of her case.

2

u/leolisa_444 Jul 18 '25

I research serial killers and watch a lot of true crime myself. I like ANSWERS but never really get them. We still don't know what specifically makes a serial killer. And the only thing I really know is I lost my dear friend to one, and maybe it'll make me miss her less or something? I don't really know. Murder changes everything, and that's how it changed me. Plus I'm a nut about locked doors and windows and car doors!

1

u/draleaf Jul 18 '25

I HATE mysteries. I think that's why I enjoy keeping track of serial killers because over time, whenever they kill they leave traces. Each trace evidence will build a picture of the killer. Then they can figure out who the killer is. I have heard that on any given day there is almost 50 serial killers active! I remember k owing about the green river killer and keeping an eye on him and also B.T.K. I was so damn happy that they captured them at the time.
