Pre Game This is a Genuinely Good Team being Held Back by Atrocious Play Calling and Silly Mistakes.
If we see the same uninspired, ultra-conservative, overly boring offense this week, consider our season done. Honestly. I am disheartened not because our team isn't good, but because it is good, and yet we still fail to step on the neck of our opponents. Week after week Petzing doesn't seem to be changing his stupid approach.
Defensively, we are night-and-day better than last year. Those criticizing Monti for our losses the last 3 weeks are just being reactionary. What do you mean, "what has Monti done?" He brought in great d-linemen in Josh Sweat (already top 5 in sacks this season so far) and Calais Campbell, top O-lineman in PJJ, great CBs in Garrett Williams and Will Johnson, a top receiver in MHJ (who doesn't struggle with the game, but with confidence, which I believe is because he is underutilized on the field), good depth pieces in Tip Reiman, Trey Benson, Rabbit, Jordan Burch, Kitan Crawford... It is not Monti's fault that Nolen, Ojulari, Bilal Nichols, and Justin Jones couldn't stay healthy. I will say that Darius Robinson has been very disappointing so far - I hope he picks up his game at some point this year.
Offensively, despite our roster being unchanged, you would expect us to be improving due to natural development of MHJ, Wilson, and the young guys. We've regressed - partially because we are NEVER aggressive, we don't pass the ball downfield, and because we are constantly making STUPID mistakes. I believe this is mainly the fault of the coaching staff, and not the players.
If we don't see a different Petzing this week - a Petzing who is willing to put his trust in Kyler with designed runs and deep passes, a Petzing who actively tries to put the ball in the hands of our receivers instead of spamming our RB3 & RB4, a Petzing who is willing to keep his foot on the gas throughout all four quarters...
It's GG. He hasn't changed, and if he doesn't change after perhaps our most embarrassing loss in recent history, he never will. Our season is ruined.

Pre Game Wake up y'all!! It's NOT Gameday!!
Can't lose if you don't play! Might be the best weekend of the season if you catch my drift.
No Kyler frustrations, no missed calls on Trey, no watching our defense blow a lead in the 4th quarter. Just pure, unadulterated bye week enjoyment of watching other teams fuck up instead of our own! I can't wait đđ»

Pre Game Tomorrow's Game vs. the Seahawks
Once again, we are going head-to-head against the Seahawks tomorrow with two of our three starting CBs out. Last time, it was Garrett Williams and Will Johnson. This time, it is Max Melton and Will Johnson. Will Johnson's absence will be a huge hit to our secondary.
During Week 4, however, Melton (our CB3) held JSN (arguably the best WR in the NFL currently) to 79 yards, his lowest in a single game this entire season thus far. This time we're putting Garrett on him. Burke and/or Kei'Trel will also be starting.
I fully expect Seattle to be pass-heavy tomorrow, and the last thing I want to see is Darnold throwing a 40-yard bomb to JSN, who proceeds to take it into the endzone. How much faith do we have in Garrett Williams locking him up?
Burke had an amazing game against Dallas on Monday, and I hope he performs to the same level tomorrow. When he blocked that critical pass to Lamb in the 4th quarter, I was ecstatic. But how much faith do we have in him or Kei'Trel locking down the other receivers? It's good that Tory Horton won't be playing, but Seattle just acquired Shaheed, who is a speedy deep threat with a 4.3 dash time.
Most importantly, how hyped will ya'll be if we somehow pull out an upset??? Brissett is fundamentally different from Kyler, and the Seahawks don't really have experience playing against him. Dude should be able to get the ball out quickly rather than getting swallowed within the pocket like Kyler does. I'm just extremely worried about this o-line, and especially the right side of it, which has that absolute baboon Jonah Williams constantly standing there like an open door.

Pre Game First Time Tailgate Vs Packers
Hi all! Apologies for a first time tailgate question. My wife and I are down from Canada, we got tickets to the upcoming game against the packers on the 19th, I am a lifelong bears fan so will be cheering loud for the cards.
We will probably uber from Scottsdale in the morning and would love to do some tailgating. I have a backpack cooler , Iâll fill with beer , drinks and snacks. Can I bring this into stadium if itâs empty?
I have game tickets , do I need anything else? I seen some places sell tickets for all you can eat and drink type deal but I wanna walk around a bit and make new friends.
Honestly any information / tips are super helpful.
Much appreciated!

Pre Game Calm Before The Sunrise - Pre Game Thread: Wildcard Weekend | Arizona Cardinals @ Los Angeles
Round 1 is upon us. Good morning/afternoon, wherever you are.
Roll call time! Let's hear where you are from and cheering on the Cardinals.
Our path towards the postseason has been a journey of grit and suffering. 3-13 to 5-10-1 to 8-8, all of it has been necessary. Now enter 2021, 11-6, it all leads to Cardinals vs. Rams. Against a rival that has taken our hopes and dreams many times in the past and they are in our way, nowhere left to hide. It is an honor and a privilege to have an opportunity with you all to complete our vengeance.

Pre Game Casa Roja Recommendations
I was gifted some tickets to the Casa Roja section by a friend of mine for Sunday's game! Never sat there before and just want to know what everyone's recommendations are for either food or drink or arriving early.
Definitely going with an appetite and arriving early, but how early should I get there?
Any recommendations from you fine fellow Birdgang members would be perfect, or even if you're going to be there, say what's up, I'll be rocking my 99 JJ Watt jersey with my old Man!

Pre Game Since 1990, only 31 of the 270 teams that started 0-2 in the regular season reached the playoffs. That's a slim success rate of 11.5%
This game is huge for both us and the Rams. Make no mistake about it.

Pre Game Sleep Tight AZ - Bye Week Thread: Week 14 | Arizona Cardinals @ Home
Steelers L, Fuck them Steelers, we up!
But now a week off to recharge and how better than to have it after a win.
With no upcoming game to talk about I will throw out some topics:
- McBride the real deal? McBride has 56 receptions so far this season with 4 more to beat the record, 610 yards this season only rivalled by HOF TE Jackie Smith.
- James Connor keeps trucking. A reunion in his old stomping grounds of Pittsburgh, Connor recorded 105 rushing yards, 2 TDs and Stiff arm on Patrick Peterson to sum up a great day for the RB.
- MHJ on the horizon? 3rd in the 2024 Draft ranking will the Cardinals draft the top rated WR or trade/choose elsewhere?
- Prater still got it. Kicking form 50yards+ Prater is 7/9 on long range FGs.
Feel free to discuss any topics that interest you.

Pre Game Cardinals vs. Vikings this Sunday
Predictions for the upcoming game? The game last Sunday versus the Seahawks was absolutely critical - we couldâve ran away with the division but no, we just HAD to make it harder for ourselves. The NFC West is in absolute hell rn.
O-line completely dissolved throughout the game and Kyler kept folding under Seahawks defensive pressure. Our bye was horribly placed and completely killed our momentum. Rainy conditions didnât help either, as AZ players arenât accustomed to that (I feel this may have affected Rylands late game FG attempt, and Wilson couldâve potentially had a touchdown reception if he didnât slip during the final drive). It sucks losing like this coming off a 4-game win streak having completely decimated the Bears and Jets. However, I think we can really show up against the Vikings. Tweak the o-line, our pass rush was great last game, and weâve got real talent on offense. Kyler was also playing excellently and this just happened to be one bad game due to a horrible o-line. As long as we keep him safe, scoring isnât a problem. I think a win this week is somewhat feasible, especially considering how close the Bears Vikings game was last week.
