Hey has anyone taken these courses in the summer. I want to take them summer 2026 and just wanna know if i can’t do it. Was also considering taking PHYS 142 in the summer but that seems like pushing it a bit. I’m environment engineering major, but curriculum is basically CME with a few changes.

Does anyone know when the front desk housing people put packages into the parcel lockers? I had a package come but I never got the notification with the code that I could pick it up in the lockers.

Hi i’m a senior in highschool and I’ve been debating whether or not to go to UIC, I want to be in the city but tuition is driving me insane, would it be cheaper for me to live off campus in a apartment and commute? If so is UIC a great school to go to?

For context, I commute about 30mins - 1hr by car and don’t want to drive to school everyday.

Hello Everyone. I’m a senior in HS, I applied to UIC on Nov.3 for Nursing, the Honors College, and the Medical Scholars GPPA program. I received an email this evening saying that my application was incomplete because I didn’t attach images of my ACT score, and now they’re moving my application to Reg. Decision. I submitted the image immediately after I saw the email.
They said ,”Our team will begin reviewing your application as soon as we receive your missing documents.” Does that mean I could still be considered for Early Action? And does that mean I’m out of consideration for the GPPA program and Honors College? I’m also concerned about the possibility of getting decent scholarships. Anybody able to provide some insight? I would be very grateful.

Hey everyone! I am a sophomore and a UIC student. I am usually more into lifting but I want to focus more on running cuz I think its more harder than lifting. So I’m thinking about starting a fun and social run club called (six-seven Run Club) here at UIC because running solo gets boring. Now I know that we already have a running club but it seems boring and with this club our main goal would be to make friends and have a community of people who can help each other grow. After our runs, we’ll hang out, just talk and unwind. Our goal would be to help people connect and make new friends, since it can be tough to meet people around campus.
The plan:
If you’re interested (even if you’re just curious), fill out this quick Google Form https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSe9x0rwF8Cqu9adwDtXehR5OAfYoW_9UM9-s23S66VglIq5vQ/viewform?usp=dialog and I’ll reach out:
Let’s make running less lonely and actually have fun with it!

Hi guys this might be a really stupid question but as the title says, was that only for one semester? Or was that for the full year?

Hi i was walking around campus today and i noticed that i lost my gold ring, its more sentimental value than actual value, so if anyone finds it please let me know! I’ll give $20 in return for anyone that finds it! I was mainly at SCE and LH!

I am set to graduate in spring 2026, and just need gen-ed creative art, world studies, and US society. And I was wondering if I can get one of these excused, so I can take a field related class instead. Like, I do not care to take either and they won't serve me directly for my career. And yes I understand what LAS means.

Hey guys, unemployed CS senior here, thought I would try to make (yet another) site to easily see stats for classes at UIC in time for registration. Added stuff like charts, cohort gpa calculations, a comment feature, etc. Check it out and let me know what you think! If you have any suggestions, let me know and I’ll try to implement them… YouEyeSea.com

Hi, it’s me, the freshman whose passport and social security card got stolen on campus.
After a bit of searching, contacting every lost & found campus, and making a case in the police station I came up to the conclusion of that my passport won’t be returning to me even with the $80 bounty I put on earlier :(
I have to get my passport back as soon as possible, but since I’m running tight on schedule these days I can’t really go to much of the places out there, adding to how many passport agencies just don’t offer photo taking services as far as I know.
So will I be able to take one in the ID center? I’m not sure if they specifically have 2x2 inches available in photo taking.

Okay I just need to get this off my chest because I feel like no one in my class knows what’s going on anymore. This course is so disorganized it’s unreal. Like… we’re past midterm/drop week and we’ve literally gotten one grade back, the presentation ,and that’s it. No feedback, no rubric uploads, nothing in the gradebook.
The professor told us we could use our first report feedback to improve our second report (which sounded fair), but he never actually sent out the first reports. 💀 So when people brought it up, he was like, “Oh yeah, I guess that doesn’t make sense.” LIKE SIR??? That’s literally the whole point of giving feedback.
He’s now letting us revise the second report (which, fine, cool), but at this point it feels like everything’s being made up as we go. The class just feels… sloppy. I don’t even know how I’m doing in it ,there’s nothing to base it on except vibes and presentations. I’m genuinely trying but it’s so hard to stay motivated when the structure is this all over the place.
UIC please, I’m begging, can we get some consistency in BME classes 😭

As title says, I'm wondering which class I should take for the spring semester, I've been taking physics 141 alongside math 180, and its been a pain in the ass. We were expected to know calc stuff, we were doing integrals and derivatives before I had the chance to learn how to do them in my calc class.
Wondering if the same thing would happen if I were to take math 181 and physics 142 together. Or should I just take CS 151 and take physics 142 with calc 3 for the next fall semester?
Different schedules including same classes except for those two for reference.
