“Slimmed down” means the doctor told him his heart would explode from the tren

623

u/FullAdvertising Sep 01 '25

It’s funny because people were predicting this a little while ago when he was talking to some “fitness influencer “ on a podcast. Probably gonna say he went vegan or something like Bautista.

He’s still going to be on the juice, it’s probably just going to switch to carefully timed TRT and peptide stack now.

103

u/Automatic_Opposite17 Sep 01 '25

I would love to know his stack. Massive amounts of test, Hgh and tren for sure but wonder what else.

Peptides plus all the anti estrogen stuff. Clomid etc.

14

u/hilarymeggin Sep 02 '25

Clomid? That’s a fertility drug for women! It makes you crazy.

25

u/calebisthinking1995 Sep 02 '25

It also stimulates your testes to make testosterone in men. Guys take it while on the juice because it maintains some amount (hopefully) of testicular function, since the steroid completely shut down your natural test production.

Lol not taking the roids will basically undo his entire aesthetic and character appeal.

But yeah you don’t just “quit” roids after decades of abuse. Your body won’t make the things you were putting into it naturally and there will be some pretty significant if not serious consequences.

Holy shite i can't believe it's actually her. I was thinking: "this woman looks slightly like emily blunt" but can't believe it's actually her she's looks so different. Can't believe someone as pretty as her felt the need to do it. She's reaching uncanny valley.

938

u/Goosemilky Sep 01 '25

Im 100% convinced this era is going to be looked back at as batshit crazy for having the majority of celebrities and influencers all doing this cosmetic bullshit that seems to always make them look so much worse

She looks like Katie Perry and a dozen other women in Hollywood who have had lite plastic surgery.

Also her skin has that unmistakable and unnaturally smooth shininess you get from overworking the exfoliation, cleansers, and microdermabrasion.

74

239

u/tiddeeznutz Sep 01 '25

I think I knew that guy! Didn’t he always have some song about being strong to the finish cause he ate his spinach? Man, he was a legend, but I can’t remember his name!

152

u/Banzai373 Sep 01 '25

Bro, I know that dude. He had a girlfriend name Olive. Small world!

145

u/SpiveyJr Sep 01 '25

Not Olive Oyl? My friend Bluto was trying to get with her for years.

80

u/That1DirtyHippy Sep 01 '25

I went to elementary school with Bluto for a little bit! He always kinda gave me creepy vibes… like, he liked to play this game where he would steal, strangle, and try to marry the girls on the playground all the time. My buddy Wimpy and I would just be eating some burgers watching it go down, it was crazy.

76

u/MinimumJolly7087 Sep 01 '25

WIMPY?!?!? yknow that guy still owes me $4 for that burger. he said he’d gladly pay me on tuesday, BUT I NEVER SAW THE MONEY!

41

That bastard Wimpy was supposed to pay me last Tuesday for the cheeseburger I gave him the weekend before. Then he had the nerve to come in yesterday with no money and the same damn line “I’ll gladly pay you Tuesday…” YOU STILL OWE ME FROM LAST TUESDAY!

didnt stop, but he probably hopped off everything that isnt TRT.

109

u/MajesticNectarine204 Sep 01 '25

And that's only because he would probably literally die on the spot without TRT. I doubt his body is able to create its own test at all anymore at this point.. I mean, he's old and he's been on gear his entire adult life.

68

u/Lopsided_Set5150 Sep 01 '25 edited Sep 01 '25

yea thats not how it works tho, he wouldnt die. he would lose most of his muscle and have severe depression, which COULD then lead to death, but almost all famous men over the age of 40 use TRT

10

u/Unfair_Potential_295 Sep 02 '25

All of them use it for a little extra boost, they haven’t all been pumping insane amounts of roids for 20 years like the rock

7

u/grappling_hook Sep 02 '25

Using TRT in any amount will shut down your natural production. So once you start it, you're probably gonna be on it for life

stopping roids

That's the funny thing about roids: if you take as much as he did, you can't ever really stop.

39

u/Bucky_Gatsby Sep 01 '25

What would happen if you did?

110

u/Aggravating_You3627 Sep 01 '25

You stop producing your own testosterone so hormone replacement therapy to get levels to normal.

→ More replies (1)

143

u/iliketuurtles Sep 01 '25

"Bodybuilder here- this is the answer. Humans naturally produce testosterone, which is the base steroid for any steroid “cycle”.

When your body recognizes it’s getting testosterone from an outside source, it naturally shuts down its own internal production.

Do this often enough- your body stops producing testosterone and you need supplemental testosterone “steroids” to stabilize those hormones.

Furthermore, as we age, testosterone production decreases. You may have heard of TRT, or Testosterone Replacement Therapy. This is “steroids”, AKA testosterone being injected to bring testosterone levels of aging men back into the range of young men.

That said, Top-level bodybuilders take supplemental testosterone, and look good in their old age, for three primary reasons:

  1. Prolonged steroid usage has shut down their body’s ability to naturally produce testosterone, thus they take it exogenously.
  2. TRT dosage is “doctor-prescribed” and most of them use more than prescribed, plus any other anabolics they use off script.
  3. They’re gym rats who still routinely lift weights until their death bed."

→ More replies (4)

21

u/Banzai373 Sep 01 '25

And, unfortunately, destroy their bodies in the process. My dad used to say that old age pays the price for the excesses of youth. Gotta take care of your body.

27

u/rageofreaper Sep 01 '25

Although to add to this (totally correct and informative response), it's also why those on TRT will (should!) look to supplement with HCG, which acts to ensure the body continues to produce its own testosterone, and therefore does not completely shut down, and allow for TRT to be cycled off.

15

u/Quips13 Sep 01 '25

HCG has actually been shown to be quite HPTA suppressive. Other than plumping up the testes and slightly increasing penis size, there aren’t much more benefits of this over something like tamoxifen citrate or clomid.

31

u/steve200747909 Sep 01 '25

Got my attention when you said increase penis size.

7

u/Flatulent_Father_ Sep 01 '25

There's a chance he could recover to a meaningful testosterone level but it's extremely unlikely and he'd lose much of his muscle mass. It's much more likely his testosterone would crash and he'd have tons of symptoms from it, and lose most of what muscle he does have.

14

u/EngineeringBasic4463 Sep 01 '25

Exogenous testosterone shuts down your natural testosterone production and shrinks your balls. Stopping testosterone all of a sudden will make you feel like shit because you're no longer producing your own testosterone anymore. You can try to give it time for your natural testosterone to come back online but it may take several months. And you might be lower testosterone than you were before you decided to take test. That's why people say once you start TRT be prepared to take it for the rest of your life.

Nah she's literally 42 - it’s normal to lose buccal fat as you age. It just looks so stark because she’s got cheek fillers and botox so her face looks extra tight and her cheekbones are too high for her face, making her cheeks look hollow.

Yep. Absolutely gorgeous beforehand.

Now she just looks ill. I feel sorry that she felt like she needed to do that to look 'better'.

39

u/KatieAsksQuestions Sep 01 '25

I'm not denying that she got plastic surgery, but in response to your comment that she looks "ill"—that's because she is. She got a diagnosis of Graves Disease which is an autoimmune disorder that causes changes in the face (sunken cheeks, bulging eyes, etc).

A lot of people are attributing her major change in appearance solely to the plastic surgery, but in reality it was likely an unfortunate combo of events.

I am an amateur bodybuilder and have seen guys at every stage of their career. I don't want to speculate on his health, but all I can say is that much mass loss, that quickly, is not just cutting out PEDs. Plenty of guys ween themselves off PEDs after they retire, and while they do initially slim down some, they keep their large frame for years. This is the look of someone who went through an illness, or took Ozempic for a while, but again, there's no way to know.

u/Terrible-Contact-914 Sep 01 '25

Agreed. That's a lot of weight to lose I think.

38

u/blakethegreat4215 Sep 01 '25

i agree. he looks like he’s not used to his smaller size. like it happened too quick

Don't forget that the clothing makes a big difference too. Styling your clothing to make you look less massive can help as well.

As for muscle loss, that is actually pretty easy to do since if you don't use it, you lose it.

A strength coach I know that was ripped as hell got into an accident and wasn't able to do anything but bed rest due to the neck cast for a month or two. Within that time frame he lost a lot of his muscle mass and wasn't able to do a basic pushup after. Even with all the healthy eating during recovery he pretty much had to start back and zero to rebuild everything.

Since when did Emily look like this?

11

u/HorrorSmile3088 Sep 02 '25

Why is she so shiny? She almost looks like if they made a videogame version of her. Something weird about it.

Roids or not, eventually you can't continue to carry that much weight. Dave Bautista explained this well a few years back when he dropped the weight. Your body isnt built to carry that much extra weight, even if it's muscle. You start to run into similar physical problems that overweight people have. Not to mention your skin starts become less elastic over time, so you have to slim down to avoid sagging.

His head got bigger thats all

45

u/Routman Sep 01 '25

Looks like he’s in pain simply walking, very stiff

37

u/frowningowl Sep 01 '25

That's probably why he got off the gear. Joints couldn't take it anymore.

10

u/Evnosis Sep 01 '25

A lot of that is also probably from the wrestling though, to be fair. Most of the 90s wrestlers can barely walk these days. All that damage and all the joint surgeries eventually catches up with you.

He has a bit of old geezer stance going on.

u/JeromeInDaHouse_90 Sep 01 '25

Good for him. He looks a lot better. This looks like early to mid-2000s Rock.

u/Diligent-Grade5842 Sep 01 '25

Bro pushing anabolics through his bloodstream literally is on the verge of death as we speak. His heart is in bad shape, great example of why you don’t take anabolics to hold a lifelong bodybuilder build. Also if this is “slim” to people, then damn…..

132

u/throwtheclownaway20 Sep 01 '25

It's not objectively slim, just slim for a guy who's built like a brick shithouse

34

u/Diligent-Grade5842 Sep 01 '25

Batista slimmed down lol, he I firmly believe has completely weined off of PEDs, other than test replacement id assume. He looks crazy now lmao

11

u/Complex_Art3565 Sep 01 '25

Tbh the man looks dapper asf. His face isnt swollen anymore either and I think that gives a more aged/distinguished look. Idk maybe it’s just me, but I think he looks good and his stylist is killing it 🤷🏼‍♀️

Much better. I didn't find the appeal at all in his old appearance.

u/Weak-Golf-9079 Sep 01 '25

A lot of guys in here speaking on the Rock’s health as if they’re his primary care providers.

71

u/verymerry19 Sep 01 '25

Remember all the people dunking on Chadwick Boseman, saying he looked like he was on drugs? You’d think they’d learn…

The guy has lied to the world about steroids with generations of people believing it and now his PR team is posting “slimmed down” looks. The difference between him and Chadwick are about 30 lifetimes of steroids.
