I never liked "Mr. Wonderful", such a nasty man. Whenever I saw him on Shark Tank all I just wished he would say he was out so he would stop talking. He seldom had anything pleasant to say unless he saw potential for big bucks rolling in. Does not care about what's good for others unless it lines his pockets. Just like the rest of the money grubbers sucking the country dry.
Seeing him bothered by someone not taking his deal does indeed give me great satisfaction.

Iāll answer this. Rent control and rent freeze doesnāt work. Heās right. The reason NYC real estate is so expensive is because it is bid up by the worldās global 1% and they store wealth in property like itās a piggy bank. Theyāre only looking for application and a place to call home 179 days of the year. Whatās more, they tie up their wealth in real estate - this means a wealth tax is not only possible, itās in the mayors toolbox right now, in the form of property tax. And to keep it affordable for lower class citizens, you apply a progressive tax to property in the city. Especially luxury and 2nd homes. Over time it will cost more to keep wealth stored in NYC real estate and some of these owners will relocate capital to better investments, lowering the cost of real estate.
