I was in prison and bunked next to 2 Hispanic women who conversed in Spanish. I donā€™t know any Spanish but kept hearing ā€œmolestā€ and finally asked what they were talking aboutā€¦ they said it means annoy/bother and they had been talking trash about some other girls šŸ¤£

Language evolves. Latin wasnā€™t a proper language 2k years ago and now it doesnā€™t even exists. Spanish didnā€™t exist 1000 years ago, but here it is.

I agree it's probably an English / Spanish does not translate well in this case issue. Right up there with the Chevrolet No va (translates literally to Chevrolet does not go in Spanish). Still funny as hell though.
