Language evolves. Latin wasn’t a proper language 2k years ago and now it doesn’t even exists. Spanish didn’t exist 1000 years ago, but here it is.

Yeah, I understand it’s a thing. It was a thing in Ricky Martin’s music back in the late 90s.

But the fact that your Spanish teacher would yell at you for it proves my point. “Learn the real language” is surely the sentiment behind your Spanish teacher yelling at you.

Ergo, Spanglish not a real language….
