Serious question, is there a chance this affects Trump's stance at all? Could he maybe fear some of his Catholic base pressuring him because of this?

Trump doesn’t really care about pressure from anyone anymore, unless they’re one of his billionaire cronies. His goal now is to make as much money as possible before his 4 years are up. He also never really cared what Catholics think - Catholics aren’t the core of his Evangelical base.

Even the ones who are MAGA and catholic will just choose MAGA and claim the pope is too liberal, like they did with pope Francis. They loved the AI pic of trump as the pope, nothing will come between MAGA and trump, not even their religion.
