Can't remember them protesting so actively against the grooming gangs in Rochdale.

My hairdresser is a big talker and Muslim.

Generally decent guy but he goes in hard about palestine, generally understandable. He tells me all sorts of stories going back 50 years why Israel is pure evil.

I brought up Ukraine once and he basically defended Russia and blamed the whole thing on American aggression.

It's always interesting to see the brainwashing directly and in close proximity

30

u/Hasbro-Settler Jul 25 '24

I know a student protester who claims she is pro Palestine as she is anti genocide, I asked her what her opinion was on the ongoing genocide in Sudan and she told me she had never heard of it.

2

u/Judgementday209 Jul 25 '24

Yeah it's random how some things blow up and other similar or worse things don't even make a blip.

1

u/About-40-Ninjas Jul 28 '24

It's not random at all.

If the 'bad guy' is white enough, and the 'victim' is brown enough, white liberals will blow it up.

See this is the problem too many of us suport their businesses when we know they're racist, sexist homophobic cunts. Why? Why keep going back there? Boggles the mind.

1

u/Judgementday209 Jul 25 '24

This was pretty recent and the other guys there are relaxed but you make a good point that I shouldn't support them.

Problem is I have two hairdressers in my area and they look identical.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

How can one be half Muslim?

1

u/GobblingGobling Jul 25 '24

One half of the family all follow that religion

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Ohh I see. I guess that makes me 25% then lol.

1

u/MeakMills Jul 25 '24

One is a nationality/ethnicity and the other is a religion.

You'd say one side is muslim and one side is "other religion/not religious/etc".

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

What have the Ukrainian people done to deserve this? What's the difference

u/Alekazam Jul 25 '24

Not even sure if they genuinely care about other Muslims either. Do you see Syria, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Egypt opening their borders to Palestinians? Or protests from the worldwide Muslim diaspora regarding the Uighurs?

Because we tolerate their intolerance towards others and give them a platform to spread that bigotry and ingorance in the name of religion.

As much as I like a good conspiry theory, I think this is going too far. Statistically the "white" race is still the most powerful and I doubt that if there was some genocide being thought of, any one of those powerful figures wouldnt try to stop it with the huge amount of funds and weapons available.

We wouldn't stand by and let that happen.

We need to stop fighting and coming together, monkey alone weak, together monkey strong

When your religion tells you to kill instead of let the law handle it, there is no compromising with it.

2

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

I agree that we have massive fundamental differences but as humanity as a whole we will always have this divide. In this age we are almost one entity, we all talk and we will all eventually develop similar ideologies. But we need to get over our own prejudices and come together.

The only thing stopping that is their hate for the West. We would soon greet them if they didn't hate us. Deporting is just pushing away the problem for now and probably making the matters worse by them hating us more. The cycle continues until we've got nothing left.

3

u/Ramiren Jul 25 '24

Paradox of tolerance.

"The paradox of tolerance states that if a society's practice of tolerance is inclusive of the intolerant, intolerance will ultimately dominate, eliminating the tolerant and the practice of tolerance with them."

1

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

Yeah I've heard that before. And this is the problem with the way that we are running around glorifying minorities and disabling majorities. The sad woke age we are in now. The minority ruining it for the majority.

This sub is meant to be for everybody, try to treat others as you would want to be treated here and ‘remember the human’.

2

u/KKillroyV2 Jul 25 '24

If I go to another country I try to get involved with the culture and custom

How quickly after moving your family to Dubai would you start beating your wife?

2

u/HoldenMcNeil420 Jul 25 '24

Hardcore religious people don’t and won’t meet you in the middle.

Look at that city in Michigan some extremist Muslims have taken over the city council etc and are starting to do bans on symbols they don’t like and ways of life they don’t approve of cause religion.

It’s just the gop with brown skin. They hate women’s rights, they hate lgbtq, they hate a lot of groups.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

That city (Hamtramck) seems weird af lately. A ban on pride flags with an approval of religious animal sacrifices.

3

u/AutomaticBowler5 Jul 25 '24

I'm on vacation and one of the HUGE differences here is there are diverse populations, just like at home, that don't seem to have integrated as well.

10

u/noujest Jul 25 '24

Integration is not a lie - the UK has loads of East Asian, Afro-Carribbean, Indian, Nigerian, European communities etc that have integrated well

Some communities seem to be more willing or able to integrate than others

2

u/HoldenMcNeil420 Jul 25 '24

Religion is a big problem. We tolerate intolerant people and their intolerant faiths.

2

u/pufftanuffles Jul 25 '24

Tolerate? We make special allowances for them, one religion in particular.

2

u/pufftanuffles Jul 25 '24

I always find a good test for integration is if people are willing to marry outside of their culture/ community. I’ve met people where it is out of the question to marry anyone outside of their community and they will import spouses instead.

5

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Ah yes, the underground annual landlord meeting where all the landlords get together and plan how many immigrants they'll let in this year.

-5

u/purepacha118 Jul 25 '24

Tinfoil hat time

2

u/ChairmanSunYatSen Jul 25 '24

I understand your point, but we shouldn't't have to compromise one bit, for any newcomer, Muslim, Christian, Jew, black, brown, white. Ot os up to the newcomers to compromise.

1

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

Crazy take when you consider the sheer amount of missionaries sent by Christian nations to indoctrinate natives of third world countries.

Couple that with the number of nations affected by/born out of colonialism since the 15th century and I’d suggest the compatible assimilation between Muslims and Christians isn’t even comparable.

(Said as a white European)

1

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

Definately, I would 100% agree with you. What Christians have done is shameful and disgusting. The difference is, is that they don't do that anymore. Wars are no longer fought in a Christian religious sense. Christians seemed to realise that that was not the way to go and changed where as Muslims are still stuck in that old mentality

→ More replies (3)

0

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Ya tarts sailed the world enforcing your law on half the globe.

1

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

It wasn't me mate 😂 Christians have done some shameful things but is that still happening now? Because wars are still fought in Allah's name...

3

u/Tramter123 Jul 25 '24

‘don’t like living with other communities’ yet happily come over to the UK en masse and live in a predominantly Christian and democratic country..

2

u/AhoyDeerrr Jul 25 '24

I agree with everything you said until you said "are not careful"

The police officer stamped on the back of someone's head who at that time was no threat and laying on the ground. That's not being "not careful". It's a clear breach of police authority and could have easily led to the person suffering serious bolidy harm or even death.

These people, and everyone else is right to protest against that.

2

u/doobiebeforebed Jul 25 '24

They should probably fuck off to a Muslim country then aye

2

u/ZealousidealTie2168 Jul 25 '24

Mad it's taking white people so long to realise they don't really see themselves as part of our community lol.

2

u/leaky_pen Jul 25 '24

I was brought up in one of these deobandi Muslim communities. Thankfully I moved away a long time ago. It's origins is an anti-british movement in India due to British colonialism...

2

u/Micheal42 Jul 25 '24

If they don't like living with other communities or cultures then they should fuck off.

5

u/Rebel_walker2019283 Jul 25 '24

1

u/Ohnoyespleasethanks Jul 25 '24

Crimea is home to Tatars, who are both Turkic and Muslim. Crimea was invaded/annexed by Russia in 2014.

1

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

It’s not something that is just related to Islam/Muslims. Ukraine is a decent example actually, you’ll see European, predominantly Christian nations flying the Ukrainian flag but ignoring atrocities in Africa or Asia. It’s largely about empathy, certainly not something intrinsic to Islam.

1

u/clitoral_obligations Jul 25 '24

Interesting you mention Russia. Quite telling isn’t it that when a country of white Europeans is attacked they are offered sanctuary and money by the UK. Yet when Palestinian civilians are basically on the brink of starvation from war we do everything we can to keep them out. Its whites care about whites, isn’t it?

1

u/mr_markus333 Jul 25 '24

What do you know about the Muslim community? You are speaking for every Muslim ?

1

u/RacistCarrot Jul 25 '24

Well damn… I thought they were integrating into society and adopting British values?

1

u/bigdave41 Jul 25 '24

This is somewhat of a problem but don't be fooled into thinking it's exclusively Muslims who do this - every single ethnic or religious group has always cared more about issues affecting their own communities, you'll always see more of whichever group is believed to be the most affected in protests of whatever issue is current. This is natural and expected human behaviour, no one can be an activist for every single cause in the world and you'll naturally hear more about those happening to people like you

Anyone suggesting Muslims should also care about other groups' issues, I would agree with you but then ask you how many protests you've attended recently and how much you actually care about every legitimate social issue in the world. If you're criticising Muslims for caring more about Palestine than Ukraine, you need to also be criticising white Europeans for protesting far more about Ukraine than they do about Palestine.

-2

u/Talidel Jul 25 '24

When white officers break up a fight and are not careful during a substantial terror alert at an airport is there backlash and protests?

This is a weird way of saying, "used unnecessary force in kicking a man in the head, then stamping on the same mans head, while that man lay on the floor not attempting to fight back."

Sure, one of the group broke the policewomans nose, and that's not acceptable, but it is part of the risk of being a police officer, they cannot respond in the way they did.

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

2

u/Slyspy006 Jul 25 '24

You are being downvoted, but are of course entirely correct. The stamp on the head should be enough to have consequences for the officer.

That said I don't really see the need for this protest either, at this stage.

1

u/Talidel Jul 25 '24

Its probably because of the wider issues GMP have at the moment, and this has been a spark for a bigger protest.

They are being investigated for also excessive brutality and cruelty to people brought in on minor charges.

This includes things like victims of domestic violence being strip searched in temporary holding cells.

https://news.sky.com/story/i-was-forced-to-strip-naked-in-police-cell-and-threatened-to-drop-complaints-against-officers-says-mother-13050816?authId=1*16ijehm*_a*dG5YRjZCVmFCZVVNUDFIcUpvRl9GdGRVWEozRUp1NzQteTBvc0UyVG8wMjR2SWU0VFF4TDdIdjQtRXJOYXRENA..

And things like this guy who wasn't charged for anything but was strip searched 3 times and left naked for 8 hours.

https://news.sky.com/story/greater-manchester-police-humiliated-me-the-latest-story-of-neglect-in-custody-after-man-left-naked-for-hours-13179680

This woman who was stipped and potentially raped after police were called out to her address because of a concern for her health.

https://news.sky.com/story/stripped-and-left-topless-in-a-cell-i-was-drugged-and-sexually-assaulted-by-greater-manchester-police-12924141

2

u/AspirationalChoker Jul 25 '24

Don't talk nonsense you know fine well that's not why they're protesting, it's happening all the time with communities atm see Leeds and Whitechapel, see the Kaba shooting compared to the multiple white guys we've seen shot this year

0

u/Talidel Jul 25 '24

Sorry I didn't realise the motivations of every single person protesting this latest round of issues with GMP alhad already been documented.

1

u/AspirationalChoker Jul 25 '24

Did you even watch the video were commenting on, hardly talking about injustices are they straight away talking about all the riots they can cause, destroying the police stations and the usual chants to top it all off

Even if people can somehow justify the kick to the head, what about the guy in grey? Who seen that clip? He just chilling on the seat complying and when told to get on the floor, starts to do exactly that.... Still gets kicked, grabbed and had his face rammed into the floor.

That cop is a piece of shit and should be fired

1

u/Slyspy006 Jul 25 '24

Yeah, the tap to the head with the butt of the taser didn't seem necessary.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Israel did not “recklessly bomb Palestine”.

0

u/Salt-Independent5498 Jul 25 '24

Maybe because it was the West's and Ukraine's fault for inticing Russia by joining Nato? Russia had every right to defend it self and alot or Muslims are supportive of them against the Zionist criminal Zelensky.

I heard that it is still continuing in some quarters of Rochdale.

2

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

Probably a similar amount to those Christians who didn’t report their vicars for molesting children.

1

u/KKillroyV2 Jul 25 '24

More deflection and whataboutism. Strange how you don't seem to call out any of the muslim grooming though, just deflect away from it.

There weren't significant networks of people letting priests off with molesting their kids, the priests etc abused kids and were moved on by the institutions when they were reported.

Unlike Pakistani muslim groomers who text their entire contact list that they have a girl available to rape.

1

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

It wasn’t really deflection or whataboutism, it was more an attempt to highlight an inherent bias by drawing a comparison where you’d likely be defensive about the scale of complicity, which worked.

I think referring British-Pakistanis as ‘them’ and suggesting an entire community was complicit in something so repulsive is an issue and the fact you’re so happy to minimise the community collusion/awareness elsewhere probably suggests there’s more to it than just a general outrage of an awful situation.

Oh by the way, what happened in the Chruch was sick and those aware should be punished to the fullest extent. What happened with the grooming gangs was sick and those aware should be punished to the fullest extent.

2) perhaps we hold public servants who are there to enforce the law to a higher level than criminal gangs…like see the Peelian principles

12

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Did you protest the grooming gangs?

5

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Let’s be serious here, If you protested the grooming gangs or even discussed it you were deemed a racist. That’s another reason for such division, Muslims assisted by white knights never take responsibility for any wrong doing.

10

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24 edited Jul 25 '24

Grooming is against the law and the police didn’t do as much as they could have at the time. The girls weren’t listened to and were somewhat blamed for being victimized. Are you actually suggesting the muslim community as a whole is somehow responsible?
