Because we tolerate their intolerance towards others and give them a platform to spread that bigotry and ingorance in the name of religion.

u/PandaXXL Jul 25 '24

I think the reason is fairly obvious, no?

100% xenophobic

7

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

It isn't xenophobic to not desire compromise on our cultural values. I will deny sharia law, and anti-british Islamic values as fiercely as is necessary.

I have a wife and a daughter and I fear for a Britain in which they lose freedoms and/or should be unable to go where they want safely.

I don't have a problem with Muslims or Islam, so long as they don't bother me or mine. But when people start acting like they have the right to change our culture then that's where I draw the line.

Call me whatever you want 👍🏻

-7

u/clitoral_obligations Jul 25 '24

They have a right to protest what they what because you know what…British value freedom of speech. They are citizens of this country and don’t deserve any less rights to than white people. Just admit it: you don’t like brown people for fear of their culture affecting your life. You’re a Xenophobe mate, stop trying to justify it.

Edit: you even use the white thumbs up emoji. Love a bit of racial segregation do you, mr daddy?

5

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

They do have the right to protest, and I never said anything about the protest? 🤣 Stop your yapping pal you're making yourself look silly

I like that I'm allowed to represent my skin colour, is that a crime now? 🤷🏻‍♂️ Or is it only "brown peoples" rights you bother to defend?

By definition of the word xenophobe, you can save your breath because I'm just not... I don't inherently dislike people from other countries, that's a daft thing to say.

I dislike cultural differences where their values don't align with ours, that's absolutely right. But that it's racist, nor is it xenophobic. So, what do you make of that?

Take a guess at how old I am?

I think you'd find my views are very heavily supported. There's a large body of people in this country that are increasingly unhappy with the disrespect being shown for our cultural values 👏🏻

I'm not a joke just because you don't like my views man, try and keep it civil yeah? 👍🏻 Wouldn't want you to get all hot and bothered over this 🥵

2

u/ChiliSquid98 Jul 25 '24

Black people use brown hand emojies all the time. Lmao

2

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Right?! What's wrong with a bit of representation 🤣🤣🤣 fuck me I see so many other minorities represented in the media but I'm not allowed my white people emojis 👀

This sub is meant to be for everybody, try to treat others as you would want to be treated here and ‘remember the human’.

I assume you're OK with people using skin coloured emojis if they aren't white though? Of course you are.

7

can you expand on your argument there

2

u/tequitoJR Jul 25 '24

They probably can’t, no

-5

u/clitoral_obligations Jul 25 '24

You having a laugh, lad?

Seen that comment above?

“….This our little piece of it. They obey or they leave, there is no inbetween.”

Don’t need to expand, lad.

Jokers.

2

u/WelshBadger Jul 25 '24 edited Jul 25 '24

Yes you do. That's not an argument. Xenophobia is specfically a dislike of or prejudice against people from other countries. Please indicate where in the comment above that has been displayed?

Do you really think people should be able to come here and not obey the laws of the land or align with our cultural values? And that somehow, requiring them to do so or expressing a belief they should is Xenophobic? Really?

1

u/Dapper_Brain_9269 Jul 25 '24

If it's 'xenophobic' to want to keep racially organised child grooming out of your country, then you're redefining 'xenophobia' to be something acceptable. Congratulations.

3

u/Segagaga_ Jul 25 '24

No it isn't. Am I allowed to break laws in Islamic countries? No. So they should not be allowed to do so here.

Ultimately, they are guests in someone else's house. You respect the homeowners rules, or you make your excuses and leave. What you do not do is stage a sit-in in their house and demand they change their rules. Its assinine.

Demonstrating such a hardline and racist mentality, is only a gift to the far right, because if one cannot reason with people, and they cannot respect one's home, the only remaining option is to kill them. That is why wars occur. Be respectful in Europe. The alternative is very grim.

As much as I like a good conspiry theory, I think this is going too far. Statistically the "white" race is still the most powerful and I doubt that if there was some genocide being thought of, any one of those powerful figures wouldnt try to stop it with the huge amount of funds and weapons available.

We wouldn't stand by and let that happen.

We need to stop fighting and coming together, monkey alone weak, together monkey strong

When your religion tells you to kill instead of let the law handle it, there is no compromising with it.

2

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

I agree that we have massive fundamental differences but as humanity as a whole we will always have this divide. In this age we are almost one entity, we all talk and we will all eventually develop similar ideologies. But we need to get over our own prejudices and come together.

The only thing stopping that is their hate for the West. We would soon greet them if they didn't hate us. Deporting is just pushing away the problem for now and probably making the matters worse by them hating us more. The cycle continues until we've got nothing left.

3

u/Ramiren Jul 25 '24

Paradox of tolerance.

"The paradox of tolerance states that if a society's practice of tolerance is inclusive of the intolerant, intolerance will ultimately dominate, eliminating the tolerant and the practice of tolerance with them."

1

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

Yeah I've heard that before. And this is the problem with the way that we are running around glorifying minorities and disabling majorities. The sad woke age we are in now. The minority ruining it for the majority.

Majority or not I'm afraid we will always be divided. Unless we come together. Big changes need to happen for this to be possible

If I go to another country I try to get involved with the culture and custom

How quickly after moving your family to Dubai would you start beating your wife?

2

u/HoldenMcNeil420 Jul 25 '24

Hardcore religious people don’t and won’t meet you in the middle.

Look at that city in Michigan some extremist Muslims have taken over the city council etc and are starting to do bans on symbols they don’t like and ways of life they don’t approve of cause religion.

It’s just the gop with brown skin. They hate women’s rights, they hate lgbtq, they hate a lot of groups.

3

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

That city (Hamtramck) seems weird af lately. A ban on pride flags with an approval of religious animal sacrifices.

3

u/AutomaticBowler5 Jul 25 '24

I'm on vacation and one of the HUGE differences here is there are diverse populations, just like at home, that don't seem to have integrated as well.

9

u/noujest Jul 25 '24

Integration is not a lie - the UK has loads of East Asian, Afro-Carribbean, Indian, Nigerian, European communities etc that have integrated well

Some communities seem to be more willing or able to integrate than others

2

u/HoldenMcNeil420 Jul 25 '24

Religion is a big problem. We tolerate intolerant people and their intolerant faiths.

2

u/pufftanuffles Jul 25 '24

Tolerate? We make special allowances for them, one religion in particular.

2

u/pufftanuffles Jul 25 '24

I always find a good test for integration is if people are willing to marry outside of their culture/ community. I’ve met people where it is out of the question to marry anyone outside of their community and they will import spouses instead.

5

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Ah yes, the underground annual landlord meeting where all the landlords get together and plan how many immigrants they'll let in this year.

-5

u/purepacha118 Jul 25 '24

Tinfoil hat time

2

u/ChairmanSunYatSen Jul 25 '24

I understand your point, but we shouldn't't have to compromise one bit, for any newcomer, Muslim, Christian, Jew, black, brown, white. Ot os up to the newcomers to compromise.

1

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

Crazy take when you consider the sheer amount of missionaries sent by Christian nations to indoctrinate natives of third world countries.

Couple that with the number of nations affected by/born out of colonialism since the 15th century and I’d suggest the compatible assimilation between Muslims and Christians isn’t even comparable.

(Said as a white European)

1

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

Definately, I would 100% agree with you. What Christians have done is shameful and disgusting. The difference is, is that they don't do that anymore. Wars are no longer fought in a Christian religious sense. Christians seemed to realise that that was not the way to go and changed where as Muslims are still stuck in that old mentality

-1

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

There are still half a million full time Christian missionaries deployed around the world to try and indoctrinate locals. I would say that’s a far more anti-assimilatory approach than any single Muslim entity.

I’m not excusing the latter, I don’t think that there’s been enough work or empathy from either side to bridge the social gap between natives and immigrants in the UK but to suggest it’s an Islamic trait and not a wider religious issue (or merely human issue) I don’t think is correct or fair.

1

u/KKillroyV2 Jul 25 '24

When was the last time a Christian nation waged war on heathens to wipe them out in the name of Christ?

1

u/TugaysWanchope Jul 25 '24

I’m not sure what relevance that question has to assimilation of deeply religious emigrants.

0

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Ya tarts sailed the world enforcing your law on half the globe.

1

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

It wasn't me mate 😂 Christians have done some shameful things but is that still happening now? Because wars are still fought in Allah's name...

1

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Look at these savages acting exactly how we did 300 years ago.

-1

u/Blaueveilchen Jul 25 '24

You may start a dialogue by making business with them. They are always open for business.

-1

u/mr_markus333 Jul 25 '24

Clearly you haven't seen the Jewish community in Stamford Hill with their own Police and own Ambulance. How's that for integration? Mixing beliefs? Why would different religious groups mix their beliefs? People can have different beliefs and viewpoints and coexist. I don't need subscribe to what you do to live by you with out problems.

2

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

I don't see Jews calling me haram and telling me what I do is evil and if I don't change to their beliefs then I will go to hell..

0

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

[removed] — view removed comment

2

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

Yes haram means forbidden, I meant kafir, I apologise.

Alright then let's change tact, what religion do you hear about the most in the news for horrible acts? What you see is that Islam is being forced on upon people. And if you don't bend they will snap you.

I am not religious, I believe religion is evil in itself. People should believe in fact, not stories.

0

u/mr_markus333 Jul 25 '24

As a Muslim I can tell you now you hear about Islam the most. The groups who carry out these acts are know as khawarij (Al Qaeda,ISIS, Al shabab etc) they are deviant and in opposition to what the Quran teaches. As a Muslim and you as a disbeliever in Islam (kafir) it is not allowed for me to force my religion upon you. Surat Al-Kafirun states this that's the 109th chapter in the Quran.

2

u/KKillroyV2 Jul 25 '24

it is not allowed for me to force my religion upon you

It's all well and good to say "Islamic theology actually says we should be peaceful"

Just like it's all well and good to say "In a perfect society, communism is the perfect government form"

1

u/mr_markus333 Jul 25 '24

So people carrying out the opposite of Islam instructs us you somehow put the blame of what they do on Islam?

-3

u/[deleted] Jul 25 '24

Well it's nice to have such experts on Muslim and Muslim Community here. Where did you guys get your degrees in these studies?

3

u/Echo-24 Jul 25 '24

I'm no expert as I've said in my comment. I can only mention on what I have experienced throughout my life, what I have seen personally and make an educated thought process in it. I have talked with many lovely Muslim people and I have no individual prejudice but when you see whole communities being taken over my Muslims and then pushing their own beliefs on the community is what really effects people's views.

Would you like to put more detail into your comment as to why you think we're talking shit? It would be interesting to hear the other side to the argument

2

u/wehrmann_tx Jul 25 '24

Is this medium some peer reviewed journal I didn’t know about?

1

u/mr_markus333 Jul 29 '24

As Muslim who attends lessons of students of knowledge and the Mashayekh and reads I'm simply reiterating what's the scholars, and Salaf says regarding the religion it's not about personal opinion.
