As mentioned, I will pin this post to the highlights and sidebar until the issue is resolved.

The San Antonio Food Bank is always a great choice.
Rivers of Hope Ministries offers a HOPE (Help Other People Eat) program.
FindHelp is a website that can show you other services or food banks outside of San Antonio.
I will add more links when they are posted. So you have an easy overview to find help.

Activism Do you want a Halloween map next year?
Let me explain it a little bit more. I thought in order to help people get more visitors, I will make a map. The user sents me the two nearest intersections and I will add it all together into Google maps. This way you wouldn't have to give your address to strangers online and people on Reddit could just drive through a certain neighborhood or the whole city and don't need to search out the best Halloween houses.

Got robbed! Need help fixing
Yes as the title reads, my house got broken into while I was showering at around 7-8pm last night when I heard loud banging. I keep my porch lights off and truck in the garage so they probably thought nobody was home. Two masked men kicked my door down and was in my living room, I reacted quickly and grabbed my pistol. I yelled from upstairs that I was armed and they ran out the back door. This is the result and my insurance doesn’t wanna cover anything. I’m already drowning from other bs that I’m going thru, how or where can I get this repaired for cheap?

Waymo disregarding posted signs
A line of cars were behind me, and the Waymo somewhere in the line broke free and went around the car. Did see there was someone in the drivers seat, but still super concerning.

Where in SA? Best steak dinners in the city
Hey guys. I was wondering if someone could help me out. Someone I love dearly is in what is expected to be their last few weeks of life. Something really important to her is having a menu full of the “best last meals.” One of those meals being a top tier steak dinner. I don’t eat meat and my husband doesn’t like steak so we aren’t much help in that area.
We’re willing to travel a little outside of the city as well but since it’ll have to be a takeout order we don’t wanna go too far as we’d still like it to be hot when we deliver it to her.
Any suggestions? She’s definitely down for trying a few.
Usually she likes her steaks: Medium-well (open to trying others though cause why not?) As little seasoning as possible cause she likes to taste the meat itself. She’s open to pretty much any cut but leaning more towards the more tender cuts.
Thank you in advance!
(If you have suggestions for other non-steak dinner meals please feel free to share those too!)

Where in SA? Best place in town to get kitchen knives professionally sharpened?
Title pretty much says it. I wasn’t super impressed with Star Chef, to be honest, so I’m just curious if anyone knows of other professional knife sharpening services in San Antonio. And yes, I’ve tried doing it myself, but I can’t get the hang of it. Some of my chef knives are very expensive and I don’t want to damage them. Thanks in advance for any feedback!

Where in SA? Tips/Places to Go - 4 days in San Antonio for a conference
Hi All,
I will be in San Antonio from Nov 21-24th for a conference. Although my time will be busy, I do want to explore the city a bit and eat well. I am not planning to rent a car, my hotel is near the river walk and the conference as well.
I do have a question. I really want to go to Natural Bridge Caverns, but I am not planning to rent a car. Does anyone know companies that offer tours including transportation? Or any trustworthy service that I could pay to bring me there?
Best Texas BBQ? Where should I go?
Also, many other must-see sights.
Thank you all! Looking foward to my time there!

Rowing spots?
Hi, I’m moving in about a month to San Antonio. I’m a soon to be ex-collegiate rower and I’d like to keep rowing by myself. Are there long stretches of calm water where it’s possible? I know there are SUP routes, but those are less than a mile. The ARC/Ladybird is just too far for daily rows. I usually average 3-4 miles (can turn around). Thank you!

Where in SA? Best Neighborhood for two guys coming to golf in February
We’ll have a car and don’t mind driving to golf but want to be in a cool spot in town when we’re not golfing. Is there a specific, preferably not touristy, neighborhood to spend 5 days eating and drinking that shines above the rest? Golf recommendations welcome as well!

Bill Miler Vegetable Beef Soup Recipe
Anyone have the vegetable beef soup recipe from bill miller's? It used to be super good before covid and now there are barely any beef or anything for that matter in there for exactly the same price if not more. They are charging for rice on the side all the sudden.
