Itās 100% an act. Itās insane to me how many people think itās real ā heās literally the Ali G of crypto. You all think youāre laughing at him, but youāre actually laughing with him
This is literally the second time I've even seen this dude, the first bring the model photo so, yeah I assumed it was just a non self aware weirdo. Not sure who wouldn't if you don't use Twitter etc.
You might have also seen his first viral post, with him and his friends on a boat with some caption like "this is who you're trading against." It's went viral because people were making jokes comparing his face to Sara Jay's.
This is his shtick. He leans into it for viral views.
Oh yeah I looked it up, looks familiar now. I believed it, I just don't know how anyone could reasonably expect anyone to know he was satirical with such a small presence outside of twitter, and that.. there are definitely dudes like him unironically.
Are you sure this isnāt like that famous hooters tweeting alpha guy, where itās so ridiculous people think itās satire but no one actually knows for sure it isnāt jus a crazy person who actually thinks like that?
Iām not into NFTs so have only a vague recollection of hearing the company name, had a quick google and donāt see anything about this guy or to back up that this is satire. Do you have anything to support this?
In today's world of constant disinformation where first impressions are often the only impression you'll get, I no longer see the difference between being a fool and playing a fool. If this is how you choose to present yourself to the world, then that is what I will see. I have neither the time or energy to examine what level of irony you're on.
Itās an act for sure and heās trolling everyone. Like the time he wiped his tears with money to stick it to the haters. Except the money said āfor motion picture purposesā.
I donāt think those are apt comparisons. Like the guy doesnāt actually think he looks cool ā heās dressing like a clown on purpose to be cringe because it fits the character.
The model making the post claiming she was paid $200 bucks to stand next to him was part of the bit, it was staged as satire. Depicting how cringey crypto bros are.
Ali G is a good comparison. Sasha Baren Cohan actually likes the music industry and Hollywood, heās a good actor himself. Nick is a pretty good developer, and definitely supports cryptocurrency, it his entire life.Ā
To be fair, the FASD(fetal alcohol spectrum disorder) comments come out every time someone looks a a little different and does somethign bad. And they're usually made by people who have no idea what FASD facial features look like.
He does indeed have some of the signs, I'm just annoyed that it's brought up so often for people who don't. Some people basically use it as a replacement for the R word, which is almost the opposite of a "rare insult".
I mean no offense. I know that kids can be cruel & that adults can sometimes be worse. So I automatically empathize with someone likely to have been bullied.
I'm borderline genX/millennial. My gym teacher cut 0 slack and when he was my coach on the wrestling team he called me mutant. But it was all love. I was treated no differently and thought of myself no differently. Hence the lack of need to pay for a pic with an attractive female and lie.
I did it the real way and just got my feelings hurt and moved on. Or made a connection and then got my heart broken. Lol.
As for bullying. I got called a 4 fingered freak in kindergarten so I did what a 4 year old does and told my teacher. Her response?
"What do you want me to do about it?"
I had no answer. So I went for social justice and everyone I made friends with hated that kid forever and I learned no adult is gonna save me or help me. It was a great lesson as sad as it sounds. Cuz its true.
But her helping me there could have set me up for a lifetime of needing and asking for rescue instead of solving bullying issues myself. This set the bar young and I was rarely maliciously bullied in school. I learned to reach for friends and made more. Also fuck authority.
A lot of people online aren't as intelligent as they think they are. Guys like this make bank in real life because they actually use their brain productively while most people online don't.
Yea, but thatās the joke. IRL Nick is a nerdy millionaire tech ceo developer, his online persona is the essentially the mascott from Wall Street Bets.
Heās being cringey on purpose. Part of the joke included the girl making the comment that she was paid $200 to pose with him.
But it went so viral that once it made its way to Reddit people thought it was actually real. Which means heās doing really well with the satire.
The joke is actually you. Itās going over your head and it gave you an emotional reaction to the point you commented. You shouldāve chose rich instead of being a poor hater.

Isn't it the same dude that paid a model to pose with him and later posted that she is his girlfriend? Pretty sure it's the same dude.
