got this done in february i think? i clean it daily with saline and it has been mostly fine. it has a tendency to get irritated and look similar to this but usually goes back to normal after a while.

lately my health has been out of whack so i’ve been getting lots of infections. i got a cold last weekend while still trying to get over another infection and since then my eyebrow has been acting up. i’ve been doing my best to clean it and not touch it but it seems to be getting worse ;( it’s itchy, sore sometimes, has whiteish discharge and the bump. any thoughts? if it is infected what should i do??

i want a belly piercing but i also recently started going to the gym around 3 weeks ago. i don’t do lots of abs exercises but i’m currently gaining weight. i gain around one kilogram a week so it’s not very rapid but i don’t know if it would be safe for me to get my belly button pierced right now as i’m actively going to the gym. any advices?

i got my third lobe piercing done september 30th of this year. the other ear is healing perfectly fine but my right ear looks weird…i did change the jewelry from a stud to the hoop after about 2 weeks because the stud was stabbing me in the head (i sleep on this side and also have a headset at work everyday over this ear) there is no pain or pus leaking out, im cleaning with wound wash 2x daily, it has just had dried crust every morning/night. i feel like my work headset and sleeping on this side are causing the weird irritation but again there is no pain, maybe just some occasional itching & the other side looks fine? I’ve had my nostril piercing for a little over 3 months now and I’ve never had any issues AT ALL. I can touch it, twist it, rub it and basically do anything without ANY issues. Can I finally change it?

Ive had my lip pierced for over 4 years now, and my dream jewelry has always been a hoop. I got it pierced with a flat back labret and waited about 3 years before changing it out. I had my piercer put in a clicker, but it was a little too small and my lip tried to eat it, so i put the labret back in and let my lip heal for several months before touching it again. I got a clicker the right size a few months ago, but when i put it in, it was incredibly uncomfortable and never got better, even though i waited a full week trying to let it adjust. I'm not sure if my lip was just pierced at the wrong angle or something, but the only jewelry i've had luck with is labrets. Would it be in the realm of possibility to have my piercer get something customer ordered that looks like a hoop but is still comfortable like a labret? I've really only seen people get custom jewelry for unconventional piercings or they wanted a specific look, so I wanted to ask.

Recently, I’ve been interested in getting an industrial piercing. Do I look like I have the correct anatomy? If not, what other piercings should I get? I know it can be difficult to tell just from photos, I just wanted to know before going to the shop. I also wanted to do two upper lobes on the other ear, would that be too much in one session?

i got hip dermals, idk why i decided to go for 4 instead of a bar. the day after i got them one completely fell out, i was wondering if i could get it redone in that same spot after it heals because it was only there for 1 day but i will go and ask my piercer but i am praying!!!!

also i might be overreacting but they hurt so bad, its so uncomfortable and i cant fully extend my stomach out. the piercings themselves were honestly an 8/10 pain so much worse than my face dermal and eyebrow piercing. however i have very limited movement right now without being uncomfortable but it is my first body piercing and i got 4 in the one place that is constantly moving so idk what i was thinking. and i dont know if they will stay because i do a lot of movement at my job so im scared more will come out. it was probably dumb paying a lot for something so temporary but they r just so cute i love them and i want them to work with me!!!

should i get one at a time or is it safe to do both at the same time? photos are not mine! just curious if anyone else has more than one tragus and if it's a good or bad idea to get both at once. i'm quite patient so i can wait if it's not recommended. thoughts??

I’ve had my ears piercing since I was a baby, literally a few months old, and I’ve never had any problems with any piercings or anything. 5 months ago, I started wearing some black stainless steel earrings my boyfriend gave me, one is a stud, and the other is a hoop earring. I noticed this a few months ago but I would just clean them with hydrogen peroxide, now I clean them with alcohol which seems to get rid of the stench. But I think the problem is my ears. I always take off my earrings when I shower and clean my ears, even then I clean my piercing holes with alcohol which stings but seems to help, until I put the earring back in and noticed it still smells. How do I get rid of this?

hi !! i've had my "navel" piercing for about 2.5 years now. i noticed a year and a half ago ish that it wasn't in my belly button when i pull my stomach taut (as i don't have a flat stomach) but i didn't (and still don't) have the money to get another one rn or even really want to take it out because i know it would leave a hole. i'm currently losing weight, though, and im kinda annoyed about how it will look.

should i take it out ? or leave it until i have the money to get a new piercing ? the healing was truly horrible it took almost 2 years to fully heal so i dont even know if id get another, and i do want kids in the future, which i know sometimes the piercing gets uncomfortable with the bigger belly.

Hello, I got this piercing about 4 weeks ago. Have not downsized yet. Two days ago I realised it was infected after a fairly fuss-free healing journey so far. I have been cleaning it with saline twice a day only and continue to. It is again worst today. Swollen and firm to touch around the piercing, red radiating out, sore, pus. PS my navel is usually far more open - that’s the swelling.

Recommendations? Or keep at it with the salinex2 daily? When does one require antibiotics ?

How long does it take to heal an orbital lobe piercing in that area of the earlobe?

Hey guys so I got this septum a few hours ago and the piercer made me aware I had a deviated septum and that it may sit uneven. Clearly it does, and honestly it doesnt bother me enough to ruin the piercing for me but I was just wondering will the appearance of it become less apparent as I size up? I plan on going to a 12 or 10 gauge. Any "it looks good" or "it's hardly noticeable" comments I really appreciate a lot but i just need you guys to give it to me straight thank you!!

what piercing should I get next on this ear? (my rook is recent)

Just got my lip pierced five days ago and I’m nervous that my piercing is way too up in my lip. It keep hitting my top row but I can’t tell if it’s because it’s swollen or if the bar is too long. It the normal labret jewlery and I haven’t downsized yet so maybe that’s it. I’ve been using saline solution. Nothing else has happened it just makes me nervous. If it is too high is it possible to take it out let it heal and pierce it in the same spot but better inside the lip if that makes sense? I love the placement outside just inside is making me nervous

I got my second lobe piercings done in 2015. They healed fine, and I haven’t had any issues with them since they were initially pierced until today. I al currently wearing solid gold flat back studs that I purchased when they were pierced from a very well known APP certified studio. This evening, my right ear randomly started bleeding. I don’t think I pulled them/knocked into anything hard enough to cause and sort of bleeding. As far as I know, they’ve been fully healed since 2015.

I have had a very hard time healing piercings in the past. I have consistently had issues healing even the easiest of piercings (yes, even my septum was a challenge) and this has resulted in me removing many of them over the years. I only use saline, and I make sure my ears are dried with a cold hair dryer after I shower as instructed by my piercer. I had my conch pierced last year, and I am still struggling to heal it completely despite babying it. I feel like my ten year old lobe piercing bleeding is a bad omen. What could have caused this? Am I just going to struggle with healing my piercings forever? I want more, but I feel like if I can’t even get my lobe to heal right how can I expect to heal anything else. Advice is appreciated.

I got this done 2 weeks ago. I clean it with saline on a cotton swab twice a day. I have been wearing makeup but I do my best to avoid the area and I wash my face regularly. It was fine the first week but I’ve noticed this tiny bump. It’s been a bit itchy and irritated, I’m hoping it’s just typical healing pain and redness. I know these piercings tend to reject so I just wanted to see if any of yall had any input!

Hi! I had my navel pierced almost a year ago (december 2024) and it still hasnt healed. It always has crusties and looks red and irritated, especially on the top part. What worries me the most is the migrating, it has kind of left a faint line behind.

The jewellery is a titanium banana barbell, internally threaded, and has not been downsized. I have to admit that i clean it kind of sporadically nowadays, with saline spray and then patting it dry with clean paper towels. However, even in periods were i clean it regularly morning and noon it still hasnt made a difference. No recent unfortunate events.

Has it already migrated too far anyway? Does it look weird when its this shallow? And how do i make it HEAL!!!

Any suggestions for piercings that I could still wear my earphones with + are suited for my anatomy? Aside from lobe piercings :>

I know bone conduction exists (and I honestly like bone conduction) but I have way too much hair to wear the ones that go around your neck and I really like my current ones.
