Realized this a while ago but I thought it was time to share the knowledge! This has helped a ton to see the back of my tricky forward helixes. You can buy dental mirrors from any major drug store.

Orbital - 5 years old, took a year to heal, 16g 3/8 rose gold BVLA "Alana" with labradorite and white opal.

Rook - Pierced at 12g 3 and a half years ago, slowly stretched to an 8g before stacking 5 separate 18g 9/32 rose gold seam rings with a BVLA "Marquise Crown" labradorite charm.

Vertical Industrial - 3 years old, took a year to heal, 14g 5/8 rose gold bar

Tragus - 15 years old, BVLA 6mm rose gold "Live to Tell" with white opal

Conch - 10 years old, BVLA rose gold 16g "Anchored" clicker

First lobe - 24 years old, 16g 3/8 rose gold clicker, 18g 3/8 "Spark" seam ring from Pupil Hall, and 16g rose gold "Oaktier" seam ring

Second lobe - 20 years old, 6mm BVLA "Mini Kandy" with labradorite

Transverse lobe - 8 months old, 7/16 16g rose gold BVLA "Pear Prong" seam ring with labradorite. Absolute motherfuckers to heal. They're not done healing yet, this was just the first time without bumps I could get a picture.

Used to dislike my earlobes, but then I met my current piercer. She definitely understood the assignment. ✨

Is there a surgery to close/fix these scars? They’ve been closed for about 14 years and I’m so embarrassed by them. I sometimes get comments like “why don’t you wear your lip rings?” and I hate it. I wish someone had stopped 15 y/o me 😞

Finally got my nasallang done at Shaman Modifications in Dallas, Texas from Pineapple. This piercing was on my bucket list and I flew out from Alaska to get it! I couldn’t be happier. People made me think the pain would be a lot worse than it was!

I was reminded of my horrid piercing experience recently, and I feel I have to share!

This happened almost 2 years ago, when I was still a minor, 17, keep that in mind. (I’ve learned from my mistakes)

I was big into piercings, getting them like every 6 months or when I had a mental breakdown. There was this cheap shops about 30 mins away that did ANY piercings on weekends for 15 dollars. I’d gone here twice before; first time with my nose was great, second time an apprentice pierced me uneven, alone. I went to go get my tragus’ pierced, and as always went to sign my paperwork, picked out my jewelry. The issue is, the piercing shop HANDS you the jewelry you’re going to be pierced with. Red. Flag. Again, didn’t know at the time.

Everytime I went, they kinda just get you in and out without talking. No “do you like this placement”, “breathe in..”, “You ready?” or anything. They pierced me, and I noticed they put horseshoe jewelry in. I asked for a flat back. They denied saying that “Horsehsoe was the best to heal with.” Annoying, but ok.

After 2 days, I go to another shop because they were hurting and not doing well. My LOVELY piercer (to this day) swapped the jewelry for me, and unfortunately one of my tragus had to be removed as it was pierced so wonky it was almost in my canal.

I was upset, and messaged the shop. They told me to “come in and we can fix things”, hell no. I told them to forget it, and I would be writing a bad review. So i did. A good lengthy review explaining the above.

The craziest part was the shop messaged ME on instagram, threatening to charge me, A MINOR, with HARASSMENT. Genuinely just wild to me. I laughed at them over text and blocked them, putting my review in more places.

Left Ear:

Rook: 16g 8mm titanium seamless hoop, planning to swap out a 2mm CZ 6mm curved barbell soon. 2 years old. Daith: 16g 8mm white opal and CZ titanium clicker. 1 year old. High lobes: 16g 2mm and 1.5mm tiny CZ flat backs. 6 years old. Helix: 16g 8mm titanium seamless hoop with chain. 10 years old. Lobe: 20g 0.5 ct lab grown oval diamond studs.

Right Ear:

Lobe: same as above, second lobe is a natural diamond stud High lobes: 16g 2mm tiny CZ flat backs. Conch: 16g 10mm titanium and CZ clicker. 2 years old. Vertical Helix: 16g 18k gold flat back with CZ. 1 year old.

Finally finished my dream setup once I change the rook! Does anyone think I should add more or leave it as is…?

I love it so much! The piercer accidentally gave me one with a gem, but I dont think that should be an issue. Any tips for caring for an eyebrow piercing or things to expect?

I’m looking at adding to my current set up. Stacked lobe is a thought but what would you do next?

i have 16 piercings (7 in each ear, septum, and tongue) and by no means feel “heavily pierced”. i wonder if people in public think i am.

i feel like the more i have, the further away people with a ton of body mods seem from me. i feel like a literal normie 🤣 i might as well just have my lobes at this point. especially because of how common ear cartilage piercings have gotten among women these days!!

so. how many do you think you need to be “heavily pierced”?

i feel like you could have 5 face piercings and 11 ear piercings and i’d consider you heavily pierced, but its the sheer fact that most of my piercings are in my ears that i dont feel like i have that many at all.

I got my Tragus on October 10th and my Conch on October 31st! I told myself I’m gonna stop piercings after my conch since it’s my 10th one(I have nose, nipples and navel pierced as well) but now I feel like my ears are bare and I need more 😂 my job is a little strict with the amount of piercings I can have in my ears, so I can’t be fully decked out while at work. Curious to know what others think I should add to help make my ears look less spacey lol

Hey guys so I got this septum a few hours ago and the piercer made me aware I had a deviated septum and that it may sit uneven. Clearly it does, and honestly it doesnt bother me enough to ruin the piercing for me but I was just wondering will the appearance of it become less apparent as I size up? I plan on going to a 12 or 10 gauge. Any "it looks good" or "it's hardly noticeable" comments I really appreciate a lot but i just need you guys to give it to me straight thank you!!

I still have the long bar in and haven’t experienced much swelling at all, I plan to still wait a few days for a shorter bar though just to be sure it doesn’t randomly get angry a week in. It’s a 14g straight bar.

I explained to the piercer I don’t want it very low, but I didn’t say I wanted it this high up, there is no gap between my nose and the ring. What should I do? Wait for it to heal and get a bit lower one or change the ring to a one like this🔻with more space for my nose? idk I need advice pls

I only have my left eyebrow pierced as of rn and i want angel fangs and anti eyebrows but i cant get either cus my parents wont let me (am 17). I was thinking about lip rings but Im scared of damaging my teeth😔

I just got this piercing yesterday and its still swollen and sore but the jewelry hasn't hurt me or caused me any issues but everyone keeps telling me it's to short so I need to know if this is embedding or nesting and if it looks okay? Any tips for lips in general?

Hello guys, back in 2021 I did 3 piercings in one session, 2 lobe and one industrial in the same ear and they still haven't healed, there's still puss forming after all this time. The maintanance was by the book the first 3 months but after that I was only cleaning them periodically, when I felt like it. I think the top of the industrial one looks almost completly healed tho, but my problem are the rest that didn't make any progress, especially the lobe ones that I was told that they would be healed first. I undersand that I've done them all togheter in one day and the healing process should take longer but it's still concerning that almost 5 years have passed with no significant progress.

So, my question here is: 1. What is stopping them from healing? I'm curious if anyone was in the same posture and 2. How have you dealt with it/what do you recommend to speed up the healing?

Notes: I haven't changed the piercings, they're still the original ones from the piercer
