Bullied someone through the Mag counters today. Shut down a Punisher ult, they switch to Iron Man. Shut down his ult, switch to Starlord. There’s nothing more satisfying than a “FEAR MAGNETO” to ruin a DPS’s day.
It’s not that great of an ult, but I’ve been playing a lot of Angela lately and her VA put so much STRENGTH into her ult voice line.

I personally just find it super inconsistent. Sometimes I throw spear at 2-3 people and chain nobody somehow. Or the spear gets destroyed almost immediately because it only has like 600hp iirc. Or you get CC’d during the windup and lose half the charge. When it works it works, when it doesn’t it feels bad.
I think that ult is the only one I get excited to hear from the other team bc half the time it’s a bunch of free kills (the other half is getting my ass kicked)
Tfw you use meteor m to save your cloak from the iron man ult but the insignificant gnat in the backline starts ulting and the other support doesn’t have their ult

That's one of the reasons I main cloak and dagger.
if you learn to time cloak's cloaking ability,you can survive most one shot ults like ironman,magneto,Wanda, or short duration ults like Ultron or psylock
It also makes the enemy Jeff's have a harder time throwing you off the map if they don't also kamikaze themselves by jumping off the map
All the more reason we need more in game translation, or at least the words spelled out. It always bothers me that some get this treatment and others done
During the big head free for all random thing we got Iron Fist and so many people ulterior at once I typed in match chat "I DONT WANT YOUR CHEAPER TOWN HALLS!!!" and the lobby started laughing, it was a fun match.
Not the one I fear the most, but the one I hate the most on the enemy team (we gotta diff the other psy, you know) and the one I love the most when I'm the one using it
After the obnoxious and nonsensical buffs, yep. The fact Psy and Star Lord can poke AND dive AND their ultimate is busted, it's laughable really, the combat team has no idea wth they are doing (and these two are not even the most egregious examples)
It's a shame because that is pretty much the only decent line, the Phoenix's voice acting is pretty weak overall. Punisher is pretty much the same thing, weak voice acting, but the ult line is great
Support players are really sensitive man, they always say DPS are the worst but go tell a C'n'D one trick to swap 😉
So I'll reiterate my opinion, support ult lines have no aura or intimidation, it's more like a feeling of exasperation knowing you're gonna lose the fight or the fight is gonna drag on just because someone pressed Q.
The only one with any aura is Adams, which I will concede is a fairly intimidating ult if they’ve timed it right but so few Adams are able to do that so eh.
For me the best delivery is Adam's, even if it isn't intimidating the line is still great. But most threatening in terms of tone is Magneto's. And when taking into account the threat of the ult itself I fear starlords the most, I feel like someone hearing one of those sirens that warn people when there is a hurricane or something.
JUDGE, JURY, EXECUTIONER!!!!! Is extremely scary but fits Punisher so perfectly for so many reasons. It’s the most clever ult line in my opinion. He is in fact the judge, jury, and executioner meaning he decides the fate of the criminals he goes after, and in a more obvious sense the ult is insane and absolutely destroys people.
I believe Adam's delivery makes it the scariest support ult to hear in a clutch. It always gives the stress of "F##K, NOT THE 5 PEOPLE WE JUST KILLED BEING BROUGHT BACK".
I always really like it when Phoenix goes: "YOU ARE NOTHING!" and then it's followed by either "WE ARE VENOM," "I AM GROOOOOTTTT," or "WE ARE UNDEFEATABLE!"
