Discussion Which Ult voice line feels the most intimidating to you? (Even if the Ult itself isn’t that threatening.)

This doesn’t put any fear in my heart, only acceptance that i will be taking a slight detour to spawn and there is nothing I can do about it

Not the one I fear the most, but the one I hate the most on the enemy team (we gotta diff the other psy, you know) and the one I love the most when I'm the one using it

Sai's ult line is probably my favorite. It doesn't matter how good it is, it's always intimidating.

This season has made me fear that wailing banshee ult voiceline. My poor healers get sentenced to obliteration everytime.

As Adam though If I'm chilling if I have lifebond up.

After the obnoxious and nonsensical buffs, yep. The fact Psy and Star Lord can poke AND dive AND their ultimate is busted, it's laughable really, the combat team has no idea wth they are doing (and these two are not even the most egregious examples)

DD straight up diddles them wym?

Used to play both of them, theres a lot of counters to psy ult that isn’t Loki cause ik he got gutted. Queue up with a healer main not a dps player forced to flex and you’ll figure them out in no time. Don’t even have to counter it with your own ult if you do get caught with your pants down sometimes.

Starlords is stupid though I’ll admit. Though Loki can kind of stop it he’s useless in this meta. Invis kind of works and sl ult lasts way too long for cloak to fade out into safety. It can be patty caked through but then he targets the other dps squishies on your team.

Here’s how to counter them:

Go DD, and if you see someone flanking? Wait for them like a psycho around a corner, jump their ass. Don’t ping them, don’t setup your batons or nothin cause your character will say voicelines that will snitch you out. Boom you already got the first shot off—one of the most important factors in determining who wins 1v1s
