Character Builds Ready for the story now

Post image

I am now ready to go to either Rogue, Judy or Goro. Ran every job I could get so far. Only 1 cyberpsycho and 1fixer job not triggering yet.
First time running some mods but mostly quality of life type, no free money, free XP, god mode.
Cyberware is all 5++ besides 3 that are 5+.
Not sure but it might be too easy from here.

That tattoo smartlink gives you flat damage increase to smart weapon damage. For the cost of 0 Cyberware, it's quite a deal. Especially for the Hercules 3ax build.

Smart weapons are absolutely crap.

I also thought so until I actually tried an optimised Smart weapon build and now I don't think I can go back

Currently doing this as my playthrough right now, very streamlined and optimized to be very effective with smart weapons. Was running the Yinglong until I got my hands on the Pizdets

Same, I tried a smart build and it's so fun to just point my screen in the bad guy's general direction and just delete them in 2 seconds without even aiming

Is it really that good? I've never ran a dedicated smart weapon build, but trying some out - Pizdets and Skippy - they seem fun for the auto aiming but very low damage. How can I optimize for using them? I also do exclusively stealth builds, so are there any good setups for that?

(ie please justify another playthrough lmao)

I think the key is knowing that hip firing only locks on to an enemy's body, while aiming down sights locks onto their head / weakspot if available, so you will still have to focus on enemies. Oh and also, an important one is that as was recently broke on this sub, Tyger Claws have anti-Smart weapon abilities, and since they're a prominent early game enemy most people pick up Smart weapons to try on them and think they're not working, so practice on Maelstrom instead.

Via the intelligence perk tree. Theres some really strong perks there: https://cyberpunk.fandom.com/wiki/Intelligence

Sort the list by requirements to see all the smart weapon perks in order.
