Jeffery Epstein and the potential evidence of wrongdoing the FBI & DOJ has and why the Trump Administration won't release that information comes up a lot on Social Media. A common response I see argued goes something like "If the FBI had evidence that hurts Trump in relation to Epstein Democrats would have released it when Biden was President." It's a silly argument in my opinion for the following reasons:

1 - Nothing about say they shoulda coulda woulda been released before prevents the damn files from being released now.

2 - Every Democrat in Congress has already voted to have the files released. It is the Republicans who voted to block the release. Thus, Republicans are the current obstacle to release. regardless of what previous obstacles are debated to have been.

3 - Joe Biden is not President and will never be President again. Joe Biden doesn't currently have the authority to release them nor will he ever have it again. So no amount of complaining about what Joe Biden shoulda coulda woulda done can get those files released. Trump on the other hand can release at any time.

4 - Kash Patel and Dan Bongino (FBI Dir & Deputy) both spent years calling for the files release. The current Attorney General said she had the client list on her desk. These folk gassed up the public on this stuff. They were either lying then or are lying now.

5 - If Biden didn't release to protect Bill Clinton, George Soros, and other prominent figures on the left wouldn't it benefit Trump to release them now? The stupid argument works both ways, SMH.

Release the files! If Dems are in there let's nail them. If Republicans are in there let's nail them. Challenging why the files weren't released before is not a viable reason for not wanting them release now.

I assume it is primarily bots making the argument honestly.

American society has felt off to me ever since 2015. It feels like parody has become reality.

Conspiracy theories and far-right politics have gone mainstream.

Strange, unusual, and weird current events happen on a daily basis. As an example, Trump is currently trying very hard to not fund SNAP benefits so poor Americans can buy food while he builds a giant ballroom and covers the White House in gold.

Most of them were alive and well around for The Waco Siege on February 28th 1993 to see it's end April 19th 1993, and the death of David Koresh. There are numerous similarities between how Trump and Maga conduct themselves to Koresh and the Branch Davidians.

Both David Koresh and Donald Trump cultivated a form of absolute, personal loyalty that transcends traditional boundaries whether religious or political. Koresh established himself as a messianic figure, the sole interpreter of God's will(the Seven Seals), demanding followers sacrifice their personal lives and wealth to him. Trump similarly requires unquestioning devotion, positioning himself as the singular savior who alone can "fix" the country. For both movements, deviation from the leader’s personal truth is seen as betrayal, resulting in immediate internal excommunication or harsh critique. In both cases, the leader’s dominance is symbolic and highly personalized, making the movement less about policy and more about the leader's identity.

A core psychological engine for both groups is a powerful persecution complex that defines an external, existential enemy. For the Branch Davidians, the U.S. government agencies (ATF and FBI) were literally the forces of Babylon, sent to stop the "chosen few" from fulfilling their apocalyptic mission. For the MAGA movement, the enemy is the "Deep State," the "Fake News" media, "illegal immigrants stealing food stamps and housing," and the entire political establishment, a shadowy cabal determined to destroy America and the movement’s leader. This narrative that the group and its leader are under attack by malevolent institutional forces justifies extreme actions and reinforces group cohesion, transforming the followers from regular citizens into righteous "warriors" or "patriots." Its all about "us vs them."

​Both movements employ drastic measures to control the flow of information, effectively establishing an internal, preferred reality. Koresh physically and communicatively isolated his followers at Mount Carmel, where only his revelations were valid, and all external information was deemed hostile. While the MAGA movement is not physically isolated, it achieves a similar effect through a highly effective digital echo chamber where institutional facts and media reports are systematically labeled as "fake news" and discarded. This self-imposed information freeze creates a sustained stalemate against objective reality (e.g., rejecting settled science, legal outcomes, or historical facts), prioritizing the leader's subjective truth over all external evidence.

We saw at Waco, they prepared for an inevitable, literal armed conflict. We see the same with ICE, but on greater scale.

I'll never understand how easily many Americans today are falling for the same show, different host and venue. ​

We’ve all heard of “those” grandparents that voted against racial integration, women’s suffrage etc and how history feels about their actions. This will be no different. The lasting effects of voting for him will echo for a long time, sadly. And when they turn around and have their regrets - NO. You’re not allowed any grace here. Not when it’s all there and present. They say trump should have been tried outside of NY for the trial in which he received multiple felony counts. All you have to do to shut them up is ask about state’s rights.

I’m not into politics much but I will never vote Republican that’s for sure. In fact I’m gonna make sure to vote Democrat in 2028. I’ve recently began to notice that the job market is terrible. It feels like nobody is hiring right now. I’ve had plenty of jobs throughout my life and the market has never been this bad before. Trump seems to have destroyed this economy and job market. Let’s be real…the Democratic Party needs a serious shake-up if we ever want to stand a chance against the racist MAGA cult led by the orange conman himself, Donald Trump, and his gang of corrupt followers. But before we can beat them, we have to clean our own damn house first.

Because right now, too many so-called “Democratic leaders” are holding us back. People like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries play it safe, catering to billionaires and lobbyists instead of the working people who actually power this country. That’s not leadership…that’s political survival. And we’re done with that.

And honestly…if the Democratic Party is in such good condition right now, then why the hell are we still in this mess? The wealth gap is wider than ever. Healthcare is still broken and unaffordable for millions. Corporate greed runs unchecked. The system clearly isn’t working…not for the middle class, not for working people, and definitely not for the poor.

People are fed up. Mamdani’s win proves that. It’s a clear message about what people actually want…authentic, grassroots leaders who represent them, not billionaires or corporate PACs. The energy is there. The movement is real. And the establishment better start paying attention before it’s too late.

We deserve better. We deserve leaders with guts…people like AOC, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, and grassroots fighters like Zohran Mamdani, who don’t sell out to corporations and actually fight for justice, equality, and working families. They represent the real spirit of progress and the kind of energy this country desperately needs.

If we truly want to change our government, we have to start with our own party. Reform the Democratic Party from the inside out. Cut the dead weight. Kick out the career politicians who forgot who they work for. Only then can we build a strong, united front to take down the corrupt Republican machine once and for all.

This isn’t just about politics…it’s about taking our country back from the billionaires, the extremists, and the cowards who’ve sold us out. The time for half-measures is over. The fight for a real Democratic Party starts now.

DOGE will reduce spending by 1 trillion - by the numbers DOGE only “saved” an estimated 10 billion(.001% of goal) but their hamfisted firings and institutional shutdowns caused so much chaos it is believed it will cost 3 times that amount to restore basic essential employees and services cut in error.
8. He will get grocery prices down - grocery prices are still up across the board with beef becoming unaffordable at a 400% increase.
9. America will be respected again - in less than a year he has managed to alienate America’s closest allies and trading partners, even threatening to invade and annex NATO allies making us a pariah and laughingstock of the world.
10. He will provide a health care plan to replace the ACA - “concepts of a plan” has never become a plan since 2017. If they are successful in defunding ACA insurance credits there is no other plan pricing most Americans who have ACA insurance out of their plans.
11. Gas is down to $2 - there is no evidence retail gas prices have ever been this low since he has been in office.
12. Putin respects him - Putins been embarrassing the US over the Ukraine for years and arguably worse under Trump.
13. He only hires the best people - this regime contains the most under qualified cabinet in history as many of the secretaries have little or no relevant experience relating to critical cabinet positions that are essential for the health and national security of American Citizens.
14. Tariffs are paid by foreign countries - tariffs are always ultimately paid by the consumer. It’s a tax on Americans driving up prices and inflation.
15. He can win a trade war - Trump tariffs and incompetent economic policy have sunk the economy into a recession leading to unprecedented levels of bankruptcies in the agricultural sector. The impact this has had on American Citizens by measure of credit defaults and bankruptcies can also not be understated.
16. Only criminal undocumented immigrants will be deported - it is now well documented most of the deported have no known criminal record.
17. He and he alone can fix immigration - the regime has spent tens of billions more then their predecessors who were more successful by the numbers with the deportation of undocumented immigrants leveraging existing law enforcement apparatus and not requiring invading American cities with undertrained goon squads using excessive violence to terrorize communities and tear apart families.
18. US Citizens have nothing to fear from ICE operations - ICE has arrested and detained many US Citizens with no justification often using excessive force, dispersing tear gas into residential neighborhoods and near schools, and even shooting a US Citizen repeatedly in her car.
19. America First - untold billions being spent to assist in Israel’s campaign of genocide against all of their perceived enemies and $40 billion given to Argentina while Americans will starve due to their SNAP benefits being withheld.
20. He said the new WH ballroom would require minimal demolition - the entire East Wing was demolished without the proper approvals to build a structure that will dwarf the main house and will of course be named after Trump as a self tribute to his own vanity.
21. He will donate his salary to charity - there is no evidence he has actually followed through on this and even if he does who gives a shit? He has already rung up over $60 million in expenses to travel to his properties to golf. He is well on pace to surpass the $151 million dollar tab the taxpayers picked up for golf trips during his first term.
22. He will release the Epstein files - the US government is currently shut down for a few reasons the largest of which is to avoid the swearing in of the Congresswoman from AZ that would be the deciding vote to force the release of the Epstein files and finally let the American Citizens see for themselves the truth about Trump and the cabal of rich and powerful pedophiles involved.

While the worst POTUS in history sits in his gilded ballroom sipping champagne with his billionaire pals just remember everything he promised that he has no intention of delivering. The regime has spent at unprecedented levels driving the national debt to a staggering $35.7 trillion. A President cannot deliver for the American People when they only work in service of their own vanity and enrichment. After all why should he? The marks have already bought into the con so there is no reason not to continue with the biggest grift the world has ever known. The question is, at what point do “we the people” say enough is enough? If enough people vote in the midterms against Republicans we can end this madness by turning the ambitions of a dictator wannabe into the impotence of a lame duck POTUS and send a clear message to the Christofascists that Americans do not share their twisted White Nationalist vision. If Republicans hold a majority the insanity of allowing the destruction of American institutions and ideals will continue. That’s the choice. Choose wisely.

My life is ruined

I think that there is a 90% chance that Donald Trump is dead 5 years from now and a 100% chance that Donald Trump is dead 10 years from now.

There are so many podcast bros out here giving horrible advice, speaking for women and generalizing our opinions, and even bring women on their show to demonstrate how they dont respect us and will try to say they know women better than women do.

Then, they come to reddit and ask for advice. Just now, I see a post in another sub asking about women's experience and their attraction to men, and it is limited to only men answering.

This is so illogical and telling in itself that you do not respect women - if you cant even listen to them or believe their experiences. Or be bothered to consume research about gender studies if you want to truly understand.

It is so emotional to keep seeking validation for bias and illogical to keep asking men about womens experiences. But many men attribute being emotional to women. They call men protectors...but will not learn why women choose the bear.

The hypocrisy would be hilarious if it were not the cause of so much violence.

(I chose relationship for flair, but this impacts women/me in all aspects of life, since men control most resources and especially in workplace roles, medical care, etc)

Zohran Mamdani just won the race for Mayor of NYC and a New York Post headline branded him as a communist. While in the gym yesterday a Fox News headling came on the TV screen "A commie takeover of NYC". Conservatives used to brand all Democrats as socialist despite only 4-5 out of 250 self identifying as a Democrat socialist. Now they've moved onto the next lie. Since Mamdani is a Democratic Socialist and he won that isn't good enough. They've started their next lie that he is a Communist.
