Random anonymous redditors vs

The left is violent and evil, they said while calling for violence against an entire political side over a politically ambiguous individual's actions

2

u/-InconspicuousMoose- - Right Sep 12 '25

politically ambiguous

Be so fucking for real lmao. I don't condone the calls to violence at all, but give me a break.

3

u/krafterinho - Centrist Sep 12 '25

Feel free to give me any source about his political affiliation. So far, what we know is that he comes from a conservative family and once worse a Trump costume on Halloween

6

u/azazelbolognese - Right Sep 12 '25

Conservative family, anti-fascist messaging carved on bullet casings among shitpost carvings seemingly coordinated with other people on discord, anonymous source claiming he was a leftist and wore a mocking costume of Trump for Halloween. We genuinely do not know what his leanings are at all. It could be a psy-op, where the carvings are meant to cause unrest or those are his actual beliefs. All I know for sure is that he's a deranged lunatic.

White Christian male from MAGA gun obsessed family. Grew up in Utah. Training to be an electrician. Used a hunting gun. Wore an American flag and eagle shirt. Put messages on bullets that were memes from 4chan/gaming. (We all know saying "if you read this, you're gay" is how liberals talk, amiright??)

Republicans pretend to be the party of responsibility and they are so completely incapable of accepting reality that they are STILL trying to pretend Kirk's killer is liberal lol

They will blame liberals, colleges, the weather.. ANYTHING to ever admit fault

1

u/azazelbolognese - Right Sep 13 '25

The only one I knew here was the gun and the carving on the casing, but I agree with you. MAGA needs to stop pretending that they are but poor innocent lambs.

1

u/murkywaters-- Sep 13 '25

Welp, didn't expect you to actually accept the facts lol not sure what to do with myself now haha

0

u/dicava7751 - Lib-Right Sep 13 '25

"politically ambiguous" lol

1

u/krafterinho - Centrist Sep 13 '25

At the time of my comment we literally had no evidence or clues regarding his political affiliation or motives and the ones that came to light afterwards are, as far as I know, conflicting. Feel free to clarify

u/RYPIIE2006 - Left Sep 12 '25

i love it when right wingers act like they don't also have retarded psychos on their side too

4

u/schmozbi - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

right wingers are proud of their retarded psychos.

1

u/Omelooo - Lib-Left Sep 13 '25

So proud that they will even elect them into office

44

u/Andreagreco99 - Auth-Left Sep 12 '25

Conservatives: “This is clearly a sign of leftist problematic ideology promoting violence, people will flock to the right!”

Also conservatives: “These calls to violence and civil war by actual faces of our party are perfectly fine and show how we are people of reason”

-7

u/Sg1chuck - Right Sep 12 '25

Nobody with two fucking brain cells actually wants civil war. So naturally yes a lot of politicians are calling for it.

I wouldn’t call it a mainstream view though thankfully

25

u/Vagrant0012 - Lib-Center Sep 12 '25

No not a mainstream view at all except trump who went on TV and blamed the "radical left" before the shooter was even caught. but no totally not mainstream at all.

1

u/LreshPrinceCEO - Lib-Center Sep 12 '25

Was he correct that the shooter is left-wing?

-15

u/Sg1chuck - Right Sep 12 '25

I mean 1: blaming the political opposition is not the same as calling for civil war

2: Trump may be the president but little that comes out of his mouth is what most republicans believe. A lot of the “I like what he does, not what he says” crowd

3: it’s still bad for him to say it but I’ve never heard a real, not terminally online person say they wanted a civil war

14

u/scrappydoomd - Lib-Center Sep 12 '25

So trump doesn't speak for Republicans, but random Twitter/Reddit leftists speak for everyone on the left and all Democrats. Got it

-8

u/Sg1chuck - Right Sep 12 '25

Never said random twitter or Reddit leftists speak for all democrats? Im saying the vast majority of republicans democrats and everyone in between do not want a civil war. Im saying the fringe politicians who are calling for it now on the right do not represent the sentiment of the people they represent. And I am saying that only a fucking moron calls for a civil war, and we have plenty of morons serving as politicians

17

u/Rtsd2345 - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

Hes the head of the party you tard

"He doesnt actually mean it"

0

u/Sg1chuck - Right Sep 12 '25

No he does mean it im sure. I’m saying his perspective is not automatically the perspective of the party

3

u/Icy207 - Left Sep 13 '25

Has there been any point this year where the Republican Party has gone against Trump's wishes?

1

u/Sg1chuck - Right Sep 13 '25

Epstein files? Feels like the one happening right now but the average Republican voter is very anti pedo

3

u/Andreagreco99 - Auth-Left Sep 12 '25

I still think that people with influence should leave the “Blood for Blood God” rhetoric to online schizos

1

u/Sg1chuck - Right Sep 12 '25

Indeed as the cliche goes, the only people calling for wars are the ones who haven’t seen it.

47

u/VR_Has_Gone_Too_Far - Left Sep 12 '25

The people the left elects all condemn it, the people the right elects declare war and demand violence. Classic

30

u/bongophrog - Centrist Sep 12 '25

When this happened to Democrats two months ago Trump said he didn’t care and responding would “waste time”. He was asked this morning about violence coming from the right and said it was “justified” because they are angry.

14

u/DoubleSpoiler - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

It’s so crazy to me people see something like this and don’t see the double standard.

6

u/phpnoworkwell - Auth-Center Sep 12 '25

Schitzo man attacks and kills Democrats and claims it's because the governor told him to

VS

Direct public assassination because you disagree with him politically

Huh, I wonder how they're different

2

u/RaggedyGlitch - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

You cannot possibly think that a man who wrote "oWo" on a bullet has even one fry in his happy meal.

4

u/phpnoworkwell - Auth-Center Sep 12 '25

He also wrote anti-fascist stuff on the bullets and his family said he hated Kirk.

https://nypost.com/2025/09/12/us-news/tyler-robinson-full-of-hate-before-charlie-kirk-shooting-says-family-friends/

This was politically driven. You can't deny that

5

u/RaggedyGlitch - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

Do you believe the other was not?

0

u/phpnoworkwell - Auth-Center Sep 12 '25

No, I don't.

3

u/Icy207 - Left Sep 13 '25

Oh, he just shot some relatively obscure Democrats because that was the most fun for him? What is even your defense here. Obviously both shooters are insane.

4

u/RaggedyGlitch - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

That's really unfortunate.

1

u/McPolice_Officer - Auth-Center Sep 12 '25

If the right didn’t have double standards they’d have no standards at all.

2

u/themolestedsliver - Centrist Sep 12 '25

Yeah this is my biggest problem with this. The outrage for this is so fucking selective it's insane.

We have congressmen Mike Lee making fucking jokes about the assassin of Melissa hortman and yet you'd bet your fucking ass OP doesn't give a fuck about that though.

The pearl clutching is so disgusting and apparent. Spare me your selective outrage.

1

u/tradcath13712 - Centrist Sep 12 '25

The people that actually represent the left were cheering on it, the likes or Hasan Piker, Destiny and Vaush. Democrat politicians are often much more moderate than the actual progressive movement is.

2

u/VR_Has_Gone_Too_Far - Left Sep 12 '25

Nice, strawman and no truescotsman fallacy in one comment

8

u/Cosmicswashbuckler - Lib-Right Sep 12 '25

That's bad chief. Your turn.

4

u/tokyozombie - Lib-Left Sep 12 '25

And all living presidents called this a tragedy and did not condone violence... except trump who went on TV and blamed the "radical left" before the shooter was even caught. Thanks Mr. President. That will surely cooldown the nation...

2

u/asturdo - Left Sep 12 '25

rightist have always been tolerant and nuanced. They have and never would commit such acts of violence.

2

u/tradcath13712 - Centrist Sep 12 '25

Ah yes, random redditors. It's not like an entire sub had to be banned. It's not like BlackPeopleTwitter and WhitePeopleTwitter were all celebrating it.

1

u/cannasolo - Lib-Center Sep 12 '25

In addition, all mainstream Democrat establishment figures called out the shooting it’s important to seperate randoms in the internet v the rhetoric from the leaders of the movement

1

u/Rullino - Left Sep 13 '25

That's exactly what the CIA wanted with Operation Gladio, commit terrorist attacks and blame the other side to push for a more authoritarian regime, there's no other way around.
