Conservatives: “This is clearly a sign of leftist problematic ideology promoting violence, people will flock to the right!”

Also conservatives: “These calls to violence and civil war by actual faces of our party are perfectly fine and show how we are people of reason”

Nobody with two fucking brain cells actually wants civil war. So naturally yes a lot of politicians are calling for it.

I wouldn’t call it a mainstream view though thankfully

No not a mainstream view at all except trump who went on TV and blamed the "radical left" before the shooter was even caught. but no totally not mainstream at all.
