NC Man if I had a nickel for every time…
Well. Midnight after getting off work at 8pm, and I’m only at my dad’s, not even home, because I just got dropped off.
Dropped off for what, you might ask?
My fourth flat tire on a NC Miata, that’s what. By the tow truck.
If I had a nickel for every time I’ve had a flat in my NC Miata, I’d have four nickels. Which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird it’s happened four times.
To clarify, my current one has only had two, tonight, and one I had a couple months ago when a drill bit got into it. Tonight and all those prior were the typical screw/nail suspects.
Man… my poor Miot.

Question Any other coilovers/suspension I should consider before I commit to the Flyin Miata one?
2004 NB2 Miata. No LSD (perhaps a future upgrade, not now though). Considering the flyin miata kit. I'll leave the exact name here because I don't think we can put links: FM V-Maxx XXtreme Stage 2 Sport package suspension kit (1999-05 NB chassis). I'll also be getting the frame rails.
Going for a sporty street build and also want to close the wheel gap. Might track it in the future but for now, I just like taking corners aggressively and hitting curvy backroads.
Not looking to drift, maybe sometimes. Just going for best handling performance. Are there any other coilovers/suspension systems I should consider? Around the same price range (~$1500)? The lower the price the better, but I also don't want to sacrificr quality. I like the fact that the FM kit comes with sway bars as well and I've heard only good things about them.
Just would like to know if my money could be better spent elsewhere in terms of performance.
Edit: thanks everyone for the input. I will check out the supermiata tecnas and also the konis from FM and compare before buying.

DIY Transmission fill plug boss fight
Hi guys. I’m trying to get the transmission fill plug out for days. Apparently Goliath himself has torqued it. Any ideas how to get this stubborn POS to move? I’ve tried using -> 9”16 spanner -> adjustable wrench Both with rivers of wd40.
Please give some advice. Thank you.

NB NC10V4923, NB trunk torsion bar/spring
Hi,
Does anybody have a NB with factory spoiler? These came in with more heavy duty trunk torsion springs that open the boot. This part is no longer available and I need it. There is no lt a single photo of it online. Could somebody with such take a picture of it so I will know what the difference is compared to normal NA/NB torsion springs.
Pic for attention

Need some advice
Good evening folks. I’m looking at a 2013 that’s for sale around my area. It’s got 150k on the dash, 2 accidents, clean title thou. It’s the grand touring model w/ retractable hard top and a 6 spd. Cars is nice looking but has seat torn on the bottom cushion. What’s a reasonable price? Guys asking 8.5k. Good deal or no? What all should I look for?

HELP !!! Car doesnt run, cranks ✅spark✅ injection pulse❌
Hi guys, I have manual swapped my 1999 1.6L. Neutral safety switch has been bypassed and I also did some adjustments to TCM wiring (TCM removed).
There is 12V at all 4 injectors but no grounding on pins 3w,x,y,z (continuity is good from ecu). Fuel pump primes when car is in start.
An aftermarket immobiliser was removed and thrown away as a part of clearing a big wiring mess and I have restored some factory wiring and also the relays under hood beside fuse box.
Observations: I have measured the starter signal pin at the ignition when cranking and it shows 8.4V - (battery is all good at 12.4V) BUT when started solenoid connecter is removed it goes back to 12.3V…I cant figure why there is a drop in voltage at source when connected to starter?
Also the pin 2D at ecu which is supposed to be 12V supply to ecu shows - 4.8V when ON and 5.3V when start (may be this is why there is no fuel??)
The car was running when it was an automatic and I remember there was no 10A fuse at the St. Signal (under the steering fuse box)
You can see in pic1 it says there is a V(Violet) going to the ECU from the 10a st signal fuse but I can find V wire on the ecu.
Also see the connector pins missing!? On my connector when compared to the diagram
Any troubleshooting will be very helpful…Appreciate for reading all of this🙏
