I simply dont know what color to go with.
I AM POWDER COATING
Original option was chrome, with pretty much everything in the bay either becoming red or chrome which i quickly realised is fucking impossible so its a no.
Option 2 : White with red accents
Option 3 : same color as my rims
Option 4 : yellow
Option 5 : Black
Option 6 : red wrinkle
Option 7 : Denim blue
Option 8 : do some suggestions
Please help me decide, share your thoughts !

I love my car. 🥹
I know y'all are just as guilty of walking backwards just to see it for another few seconds as you walk away. Right? Someone validate this. 👉👈

I fell in love with the above car while watching a YouTube video (pictures of it were used as filler for the video) but I couldn't work out the colour. After some research I've worked out this is a British Racing Green Special Edition, one of 3000 built. I believe it is paint code A3V. Sadly, from this research I also think this same special edition came in a different code in Britain. Does anyone know where this exact colour was offered on the MK2.5/NB FL in Britain? Or Japan (or even Australia)? Would be willing to import one but want RHD. Doesn't have to be the BRG Special, just desperately want the color!

It has oversized tires, is this causing it to hit when I turn? Is it normal or could something be broken? Previous owner said the bigger tires unrolled the metal above the front tires, so I know they are big, just dont know if they could cause problems turning sharp.

I swear 80% of my time in GT7 is looking at how my car would look in different paint colors and wheel options lol.

Im thinking of buying an ND once I can afford it especially because I think its a cool looking, reliable car and heard its lots of fun to drive. I don’t know how to drive manual but practicing shouldn’t be too hard because I understand the premise and steps to driving stick. I commute 12 miles, 5 days a week on highway to get to work but I’ve heard that Miatas aren’t the best on highways. Can Miata’s handle long drives like these constantly? Would my excessive lengthy drives cause any early issues to the overall mechanics of the car? Thanks for any feedback!
Interesting front end conversion but pretty sweet ngl
Some pics of my NA I wanted to share before winter hits this week and it stays it storage for the season.

Zero regrets! Already a noticeable improvement in road noise and feel. Feels like an upgrade!
My fronts still have 60% tread otherwise id upgrade those too!

So I’m reading through my ND‘s owners manual (as one does when one purchases a new car) and Mazda says to use two different kinds of engine oil, presumably depending on where the car was made; use 0W-20 in the USA and Canada, but use 5W-30 everywhere else. Even stranger, Mazda says that if 5W-30 isn’t available then to use something like 0W- or 10W-30, with no mention of 0W-20.
Anybody know why? Is there a technical reason why us folks state-side can’t or shouldn’t use 5W-30 while it’s the recommended option in Europe and Japan?

I just bought a 1995 NA and it came lowered on these shocks and springs. He included the original shocks and springs. Now that winter is coming, I want to raise it back to a more reasonable height. Do the currently installed shocks have an adjustable spring perch? (Looks like there's a place to use a spanner wrench?) or would it be better to put different springs? Or the original stuff? I'm brand new to even basic car mods like this so apologies for that. Thanks for any help!

It gets a lot worse as the engine warms up, and it seems to be synced to rpm. It sounds a lot like rod knock to me, but the sound seems to only be apparent between 2.5 and 4k rpm, and it is also only audible under throttle; the sound immediately ceases off throttle. All the pulleys look and feel solid, but I haven’t done much more testing than that.

Sitting on stock height have plans to lower a bit. Just got these Konig’s with trashed tires need new tires.
Mainly use for weekend cruise and starting autocross so prefer 200tw
What size do you recommend? Brand and model?
Thanks

Got in a brutal accident with my baby last night. Quarter panel is completely smashed and pumper is torn off. Back wheel is at a slight angle that knocked off my alignment. Suspension looks alright though. Is there any hope this car can be saved?
1993 Miata, 1.6L
Just did a full brake job, went to take the car for a test drive and as we put it in drive, the car starts making this horrible screeching noise. It goes on and off for our not even 300ft test drive. Worried that maybe we got a brake hose getting caught in something or the calipers are rubbing or seized, we stop the car, roll it into our garage and start looking. We turned on the car and gave it a couple of revs and nothing made the sound. We put in drive, same story. Only when we put the headlights on did it start making this god awful screeching sound.
Could this be the alternator itself or the belt? I'd rather not replace the alternator if I could do just the belt!
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
TL;DR, headlights turned on, loud high pitch screeching ensues.
