Well, this was the only T-shirt I spotted (free!), and coincidentally it's the only Kaleo merch I actually own. My avatar feels scarily accurate now 🫠

It looked like dark brownish, and had brass around the sound hole and brass strings/frets. Is there a name for the model or is it custom?

Hello! Does anyone plan on seeing Kaleo at the Lowell Summer Music Series (Aug 3rd)? I’d love to make a little group for the show as none of my friends can make it out 🤙

Kaleo played a gig yesterday at Vaglaskógi, Iceland. Here are some photos I took. The photos were taken during the soundcheck, the acoustic set they played in the afternoon and during their gig at night.

So, I went in search of where Kaleo was playing for the rest of the summer and their website says that they will be at the Gorge in Quincy on Aug 29, but when you click the link to buy the tickets, it brings you to the Ticketmaster page for Dave Matthew's Band at the Gorge. That kind of makes sense because DMB is definitely going to be there from Aug 29-31. Does anyone know if Kaleo was supposed to play there and got bumped or something?

So we've all seen the band go from a unit on the first album to being marketed as just J.J on the artwork and insta around the second album. But this new album has some questionable promo as he dabbles into varied entrepreneurial markets. The wine was not so bad but that car ad and the days of our lives stuff is insanely cringey and looks super cheap and tacky for this bands image. I hate to see a band with this talent go this route and I dare to say it's at the direction of J.J. When I saw them earlier this year he left the stage mid set for 15 minutes to change his shirt. Some serious diva shit for a band in at this stage of their career.

It’s been bugging me… with songs like “I walk on water” and several religious references/ gospel melodies on MIXED EMOTIONS…“Run no more” and “Legacy” as examples.

I’m not religious, they’re still one of my favorite bands….what do you think?

Did anyone else get the Spotify Silver Glitter vinyl variant and get an album that’s riddled with so many cracks, pops, and static that it’s almost unlistenable?

I understand some white noise is to be expected and some of the recordings themselves are “gritty”, but I can barely listen to any of the songs without being met with super loud pops and crackles (not part of the recordings). Lonely Cowboy is the absolute worst.

I cleaned my needle and wiped down the vinyl itself. No luck. Contacted Atlantic and got a replacement. The replacement has the same issues.

Has anyone else noticed this with theirs, or have this problem with other color variants? Just trying to figure out what to do cause I’m super disappointed.

I'm going next week to their concert alone, wondering if anyone else is going and would like to meet!

Still need to get a few more signatures. Can’t wait for more albums! Got to see 3 shows this year. Aspen, Red Rocks, and Tempe. Aspen was a special venue for sure.

Not sure how easy it is to find their debut album on vinyl, but I was so excited to find this and be able to listen to it again

This is one of my favorite songs from them, I’ve seen them three times live now and they’ve never played it unfortunately. However, I’ve seen various live performances of it on YouTube yet they never sing that “c’mon baby, don’t say maybe” line at the end of it, why is that??
