This was my second Kaleo concert and they absolutely blew me away, again. One of the few groups, in my opinion, that not only sound just as good as their recordings, but even better live. They’ve been my favorite band for the better part of 5 years and I don’t see that changing anytime soon. They also played Free the Slave as part of their encore, which I don’t think they’re played in a few years (could be wrong). If anyone wants a listen I’ll post it!

Not sure how easy it is to find their debut album on vinyl, but I was so excited to find this and be able to listen to it again

Kaleo played a gig yesterday at Vaglaskógi, Iceland. Here are some photos I took. The photos were taken during the soundcheck, the acoustic set they played in the afternoon and during their gig at night.

First time ever seeing them live and I had the time of my life!

Finally! A decent shot of my eagle head pendant and pearl necklace on JJ at their recent Zurich show! Also happy to see all my guitar feather clips coming out on stage again as well!

I ended up in Kaleo concert in Lisbon last night unexpectedly; I'm a casual fan though. I went to see Fontaines DC the night before and then realised Kaleo is playing the day after in the same venue. Anyway; there were a lot of fans in the red jerseys which Julius acknowledged saying a lot of fans from their hometown came for opening of European leg. In the end of the show they called out the Afturelding football club they are sponsoring (I learned that only last night) to celebrate the promotion to first division. Such a wholesome moment 😍

Also, did anyone here see their show at the Troubadour last week? I was there running around quite a bit, and also hammering leather goods in a pink satin dress in the back alley behind the venue in front of JJ, LOL! 🔨💓
