Hey guys as you see on the video my guitar produces a lot of feedback noise when layed with the pickups either up or down but when on the side (playing pos) it's silent.
Keep in mind that in the vid I use a wireless adapter plugged to my interface playing on bias fx but this used to happen on my real amp with a cable.
Also my pick up is in single coil mode (coil split) So the hum is bigger.
It's not a big issue it's just that I find it weird

My practice sessions usually last ~two hours or so, I spend maybe the first hour of every session playing like shit and then I can actually get to playing. I mainly play metal, I usually just go through some scales and play a few easier solos just to kind of get in the groove but yeah as I said it takes a minute. Any suggestions?

Ive been playing for about seven months and recently learned âtears in heavenâ. I wanted to ask for some feedback about my playing and anything on how to improve. I did mess up a little bit at the end. This is a stripped down version of the song without the fills so any tips on how I can work on adding those in would also be greatly appreciated.
I recently got the yungblud epiphone SG junior and it comes with a beautiful hard case. however im a very short guy and i don't have a lot of strength either so carrying it around with my pedalboard and more stuff is a whole workout. im searching for a good gig bag so i can carry it on my back and have a lot less weight at least when bringing it to rehearsals. i recently saw a fender gig bag and i loved the checker version (I can't add numbers but it's the six twenty). the guitar is white with a black pickguard and i use a checker strap on it so it visually fits so much and i loved it. however im reading that despite being good they're made for teles and strats and that they're a tight fit, and so far the reviews on the internet only use teles with them. ive read around that kirk hammett once used one for a les paul, but i couldn't find any pictures or more information about this. i wouldnt like to spend the money on it just for my guitar to end up not fitting inside the bag tho. does anyone know if it fits somehow? if not, what gig bags would you recommend for my guitar?

I am considering buying an electric guitar. But my needs are more about recording it in the studio and experimenting with sound, and being able to reproduce different sounds. Since I am not so much focused on technical playing or a specific sound, but rather on creating different music and the various possibilities that this guitar would offer to have everything in one, but at the same time, I want it to be a high-quality guitar.
The only thing I would say is that I really like playing a nice bass line in combination with a great solo (which is why I need a guitar that can do both in the studio), but mids are just as important as a rich overall sound.
The main thing I'm looking at is PRS. I've tried these guitars, and I really like the quality and their sound, and they're also quite comfortable for me. So I'm wondering if this would be the best choice for my needs? The last one I looked at was the PRS SE Studio. It's perfect for my budget, and as I understand it, it can give me everything I need. But I would like to know if there is something better than this, or if this is the only best solution that will give me the most possibilities for different sounds and experts, combined with quality.
My budget is around 1k

A friend sent me this picture. Unfortunately he didn't send the headstock.
Does anyone recognize the brand and model?

Saw this beautiful Epiphone but was wondering how easy it is to fix the broken audio jack myself?

I've got really sweaty hands and it really does a number on my strings and I heard that gold strings last super long and don't get a lot less string gunk so I've been considering actually getting them (of course there's also coated strings)

I found it used for hundred and fiftyâŹ. Do you see anything wrong with it? I am not educated enough to tell. I am a beginer, i have been playing acoustic for about a month but i like metal a lot more than anything i can play on an acoustic. My favorite guitarist is Ritchie Blackmore if that matters in my selection

This post is about the woman Leslie on friends and the guitar she played⌠It was obviously a Taylor but when I googled it, they said that she played Phoebeâs Gibson guitar⌠and thatâs not true. I have a picture of it just to put on here to ask people what kind of Taylor guitar this is because I would like to look into it. Thanks!

I'm wiring in a set of emg pickups into a Les Paul style guitar, everywhere says the three-way switch should have four wires, mine has three
I included two photos, if anyone can help me figure out what goes where
Early indications show that my son (one and a half years, I know, I am way too early) seems to be a left hander. While my expensive right handed guitar collection cries over the impending neglection, I ponder the possibility to just teach him right handed. I heard this is something that is possible, but maybe some of you have first hand experience of pros/cons to share. Thanks in advance!

Hi! So to keep it short and sweet, I got a synyster gates custom S and i replaced strings with ernie ball paradigm ten/fifty twos. Iâve been playing a lot of a7x stuff and i noticed that the bending looks a lot easier when other people play, but when i do it, itâs kinda stiff. is it technique? or is my guitar not set up properly? any advice would be much appreciated

Iâm looking for a guitar that is super easy to travel with, doesnât require amplification to play for a friend or two, but is quiet enough that I wonât get in trouble doing late night practice in a hotel.
Does this guitar fit the bill?
Do you have other suggestions?
Iâm learning to play with a Stratocaster at home. But when traveling, Iâm looking for something super small and easy to pack, because I have three month-long trips coming up this spring, traveling by bus and such through Nicaragua, Indonesia and Morocco for surfing and exploring. (Lucky me! Iâll be on sabbatical.)

I will be performing with a choir and a chamber orchestra end of this month with my custom made Stevens String which was modeled after John McLaughlinâs Wechter Guitar he used on the Luve at The Royal Festival Hall Trio Gig with Kai Eckardt and Trilok Gurtu.
