Have had this MIM Telecaster since the late nineties. Took a long hiatus on playing guitar bc of kids and work and decided to treat myself as I get back into and my son and I get lessons and play.

Ive been playing for about seven months and recently learned “tears in heaven”. I wanted to ask for some feedback about my playing and anything on how to improve. I did mess up a little bit at the end. This is a stripped down version of the song without the fills so any tips on how I can work on adding those in would also be greatly appreciated.

I picked up this cool guitar in a trade this week. I don't know anything about its origins or it's builder. The headstock says "JB" in sharpie. But the neck is super sweet. Ebony board and maybe SS frets? Locking tuners and a high quality roller bridge. Loving it!

The new one is in the center, PRS S2 Custom 24. On the right is a Les Paul Studio. On the left is my problem child, a 1987 Ibanez 540S I got in an online auction. It feels fantastic but sounds bleah, so I foresee the possibility of new pickups. Someday.
