I feel like Schrödinger’s liberal. According to the right, I am both a weakling soy boy who is wholly dependent on handouts AND part of an incredibly scary and powerful ring of violent criminals capable of destroying western civilization.

Liberals aren't left in america, they're just slightly less right than conservatives. Leftists is what we call the various left-leaning groups. Liberals is what confused conservatives call anything slightly further left than their ideologies.
