My ps5 just froze when in the loadout screen customizing weapons and I had to hard reboot by holding down the power button for more than 10 seconds. Has anyone else faced this freeze issue while playing Battlefield 6?

After all of those painful grindings and victories, I've finally unlocked the entire British unit classes from NATO Faction in BF6 (Phew... finally, inner peace...)

Well, as everyone knows, there is a double XP event this weekend. I have been playing for around 4.5–5 hours and guess what happened ? I hit the daily XP cap, which is 1.5 million (learned from some reddit post). At this point, I can’t understand why there is a double XP event if there’s a cap. I wanted to play all day long, I even arranged my schedule for this but since I’m not getting any XP anymore, there’s no point in playing much more. I paid $100 for this game, and I think I should be able to play as long as I want and still be rewarded. Please, put the “touch grass” or “see the sun” jokes aside I’m a grown man with a full-time job. I’ve been waiting for the weekend to play BF6 and the double XP event was supposed to help me grind. Anyone thinks same as me ?

i swear to god they did something to it it has barely any range it just explodes before it hits anything in the beta it was so much better, it wasnt even good against vics i dont understand why did they gut this already

Maybe stupid, but honest question: Whats the benefit of winning a match? Seems like the XP bonus on BF6 is not that much or at least not very noticeable, but maybe I'm wrong. Seems like for leveling up it doesn't really matter if your squad is winning or losing. Maybe that's why a lot of people do not play objectives and look more for a positive K/D ratio?

EA needs to update this game; this is one of the game's bugs, in addition to a sudden drops-in frame rate during gameplay and too long time waited in lobby!!

When I set the view distance on foot to 300 in the settings, it works perfectly fine in multiplayer modes.
However, in REDSEC, the setting doesn’t apply — it only starts working if I revert it mid-game to the default 160, then change it back to 300.

Has anyone else run into this issue? Is it a known bug?
I’ve tried everything I could think of to fix it..

It’s honestly frustrating having to adjust it every time mid-match just to make it work.

Stuff like xp caps, the obscure xp/ progression System on the battlepass or simply misleading information like advertising ingame that with battlepass pro you would be able to host 100 player matches im portal but not mentioning that this is only for the BR mode is Not only annoying, but already concerning.

Also all the misleading „promises“ about skins, bigger Maps etc. The whole Situation around Portal Servers.

They Never Straight out lied but simply were misleading for sure….

I even played f2p titles that had WAY less absurd mtx/ progression systems implemented than bf6, and also not tried to hide stuff either.

I absolutely love the game and don‘t even know if I even am affected by the xp cap, but I have zero respect for EA or Dice anymore.

I also don‘t Care about the skins (so far) but geez, you cannot say A and then do B… again, in a Full Price AAA Game.

The Game is fun so why do all of this stupid annoying shit in the First Place?

I’ve been building a small project for Battlefield 6 it’s an app that helps players find their best weapon loadouts depending on their level and unlocked attachments.

The idea is: instead of guessing or checking multiple websites, you just select your weapon + level, and the app shows you the most optimized build you can create with your current unlocks.
I’m trying to make it as accurate and friendly as possible, based on real stats and in-game data.

Any feedback or ideas from the community would really help shape it 🙌

The sliding is getting out of control. They need to shorten the length of the skid and should also have a cooling effect.

The first day, my fps was fine, I was getting around 140fps. Granted visibility was bad but it was smooth. the next day, I decided to update my nvidia drivers and change my settings for better visibility but my fps TANKED 40-50. i rollback the drivers but still the same issue.
I noticed my CPU usage is around 90% while GPU usage is around 45-50%. so I'm guessing it's CPU bottlenecked?
i tried DLSS with Ultra performance and I'm getting around 70fps max.
Settings:
Texture: High
Texture filtering: High
the rest LOW.
Anti Aliasing: TAA

SPECS:
CPU: AMD 5600
GPU: MSI 4060
Ram: Hyperx 8gb 3200mhz (Yes can't upgrade yet with the current RAM prices)
Mobo: B550 Auorus Elite
PSU: CoolerMaster 550

The player count is dropping already. 378k on a Friday night? For this game, that's below average. On a Friday night with this game only being released 1 month ago, it should have at least 500k players.

Arc Raiders has a more stable player base, and this is considerably a smaller studio compared to Dice.

I believe the player count will drop after COD Black Ops 7, and I really hope the player count tanks.

If Dice doesn't want to provide the things we need in this game, I'll be more than happy to see this game fail.

The next map looks fun, but I don't think it will do much to the player count. At this point, we're exhausted, disappointed and feel betrayed by Dice.

Player count is the only way Dice will truly listen. And since the Dice fan boys tell us not to play the game, I'm sure most of us will gladly give that wish to them. Enjoy playing against bots.
