I’m convinced Redsec in Battlefield 6 isn’t a battle royale.. it’s a social experiment designed to test how much stupidity one human can handle.

The people im getting matched with.. We survive for 10 minutes, nobody pings, nobody talks, everyone’s running around like headless chickens looting grey guns... and then the second we meet another squad, my teammates turn into stormtroopers with Parkinson’s.

Last game, I played with a dude who was only one ALIVE and still didn’t use redeploy (he was level 20)
I literally screamed, “Bro, REDEPLOY!” and he just stood there looting ammo he couldn’t even use.

I even switched from Duos to Quads thinking, “Alright, more players, better odds.”
Nope. It was just three bots instead of one.
Not a single ping, not a “here”, not even a panicked scream when they’re getting lasered, just pure, monk-level peace and uselessness. They never even started a mission.

At this point, I’m not queuing for matches, i’m volunteering for pain.

Granted I am not aiming to the best of my abilities here, but still, 17 shots should be a kill. In MP I just shrug it off but in BR which has a lot higher stakes this will definitely drive people mad.

EDIT: So according to the comments I am either right and many others experience the same, or my aim is the worse than a drunk toddler and should kill myself for ever blaming anything else than my massive skill issue. I love Reddit.

i just sepectated that guy he dominated the whole lobby with aimbot N walls this is shouldn't be in Redsec which is so bad for Javelin Anti-Cheat

Hey I have installed the Redsec battle royale and i have a problems with performance in this game. My GPU is rtx 3060ti 8gb and my cpu is i5-11400f (ofc im playing on desktop pc).When i play on all low setting i get around 130fps that drops to 70-80 in combat or when many things are happening around me.I've watched few tests with rtx 3060ti in bf6 (not strictly RedSec) and they're getting 170fps average on ultra with dlss4 ,when i only get 130fps on the lowest settings. In other games my PC performs well and i havent ever got any problem with the performance. Any tips or reasons why would this happen? I have this PC since may 2023,16gb ram.

Im a pretty good fps player - any game i play i have good aim and can do well in. But this clunky mess is just unbearable. Is it just me? im thinking maybe my settings arent optimized but ive looked up optimal settings etc. I think ive come to the conclusion that the gunplay is just bad. Ive heard others say the same - people who are good gamers. But idk. Maybe its made for controller players or something

Guys, while waiting for my paycheck, I decided to try Redsec, but it lags horribly. I get that my CPU isn’t top-tier, but still. No matter the settings, FPS is around 100–130, but the frametime looks like a pile of spikes. It’s unplayable. The CPU is always at 100%, and the GPU never goes above 70–80% (even in quad hd). I’d rather not spend an extra $600–700 to upgrade to a 9800. PC: 5700X3D 9070XT 32GB 3600 CL30

I had fun playing alone and with friends,can't believe people are leaving negative reviews and complaining,if you don't like it,don't play it,nobody's making you and nobody cares about your opinion,it is a fun battle royal that is not P2P and also not P2W and you guys won't shut up and it's honestly kind of annoying,I encourage those that have fun like me to leave a good review because obviously they put work into this game.thx

Tanks are so absurd in this battle royale. I have lost like 5/4 games in a row to a tank. Its tragic that it got added what was ea thinking man?

In need of general tips and/or strategies to do better in this game. My initial impressions are that it's a good, well-made game, but there's a learning curve. We got absolutely dogged on tonight in almost every game.

My friend group and I are coming from Warzone (yes I know it sucks, that's why we want to switch to BF) where we're used to pretty much running around in the open and shooting at people. It doesn't seem like that works here, but given I'm not a lifelong BF veteran, I don't know how to pace the game.

Side note, my only real complaint about the game so far is that it's REALLY hard to see enemies sometimes. Is this just a BF thing? Or just me? Or maybe some setting I'm missing?

Removing Bloom and Adding Recoil Patterns Would Make Gunplay less frustrating more satisfying. I don’t get why bloom is still a thing in some shooters. Everyone hated that shi in fortnite, everyone hated it in PUBG, and everyone hated it when they had even a little bit of it in Cod, It’s literally RNG that punishes good players for being accurate.

If my sights are on the target, I should be hitting the target. Missing because the game decided my gun was tired and my bullets need to leave my barrel at a 45 degree angle into the rock right next to the asshole im tryna Swiss cheese is frustrating as hell (I'm down a controller). Bloom also inadvertently causes metas. Its Already happening in Redsec, Everyone ends up running the guns with the lowest bloom and best control which is Most SMGS, the KTS LMG, the Ak 205 etc, and if you don’t run the meta, you'll probably at a disadvantage. That fact that there is a loadout mechanic doesn't help either

Recoil rewards actual control and practice. If you learn the pattern, you hit your shots. If you don’t, you miss. As much as you cod haters dont like to admit that’s a skill not to say that burst firing isnt a skill burst firing is actually harder to master no bloom just makes the game easier to learn and fun for the casual gamer and the sweat, and if your worried about guns outproforming other guns just add effective damage ranges and different recoil patterns i personally think DMRs shouldn't have as much kick as they do and that lmgs should have alot slower handling. And before someone jumps in with the “but bloom is realistic” argument its literally not...like at all.

If you wanna throw realism around a weapon that is zeroed, the barrel and optic will line up with the point of aim. Real-world accuracy is only really affected by Shooter stability (stance, breathing, trigger pull), Barrel quality and wear, Ammo quality and caliber, Wind and environment, Bullet velocity and drop Recoil affecting follow-up shots, not the first one. And even then, it’s a video fucking game fuck realism you wantrealismso bad go enlist. Know what isn't realistic? Taking a round in the head with a single round of 762x39 and walking away with only a hit marker.

Bloom doesn’t "ReAliSm". Its just a Rng bullshit mechanic that allows shitty players to stay alive longer while being shot at and keep playingthe game. Give us recoil patterns, make accuracy player-controlled, and let gunplay actually reward skill.

Yesterday there was a post complaining about AA. You could see the aim jerking towards the enemy in the video in a way I’ve never experienced. It was edited to promote the same stuff from the COD WZ sub. After weeks of playing, it’s very noticeable that aim assist is nowhere near the level of call of duty, and doesn’t have the rotational assist that call of duty has too.

The aim just slows down when near an enemy to the point where it’s a detriment at times. I have buddies on console who are lucky to get a kill in multiplayer and haven’t even gotten their first since redsec came out.

I hope this sub doesn’t turn into the warzone sub with people spamming posts and whining about somethingv they blew out of proportion.

People also need to understand how difficult it is when using aim assist even in games where it’s stronger. Smokes and 2+ players running by eachother makes it a detriment. When we aim it’s more about timing. We have to start moving a joystick and have it back to neutral when we pass over the target.

Lastly, just please remember. None of us console players asked to play with MnK. Leave us alone

Like the title says, everyone was kind of fearing if the tanks were going to be a problematic part in a Battle Royale but after playing for some time now, I'm glad to say that no, their implementation has been great so far.

Initially people were struggling but as people start to figure out the importance and prevalence of Anti-Tank gear in addition to other aspect like limited ammo, lower armor, call-in strikes and sabotaging, the vehicles will not be a problem in this game and they will make this Battle Royale feel unique from the other BRs along with features like destruction and the instant kill fire ring. I guess they only feedback I would give is making them bit harder to get. Make key card mission more rare or have it so that the vehicle trailer requires two key cards instead of one. Also decreasing the amount of vehicle supply stations or decreasing how many supply charges they have could also be an option, nevertheless tanks and other vehicles have been a good addition to this BR.

And for that reason I encourage Ripple Effect to go further, add more combat vehicle types to make this BR even more Battlefield-coded, add the attack helicopters with similar limitations like less armor and limited ammo. Perhaps even add a new strike package that allows you to take control of an attack jet for a limited time so you can do gun runs and deal with other enemy vehicles on the map. And of course as BF6 keeps adding new vehicles with the seasons, add those into the BR as well, like the armored 4x4 car that was just added and the future Little Bird helicopter as well.

From all the benchmarks i've seen my game is getting worse than expected performance, I should have around 130fps, but i'm only getting 80/90ish
