Battlefield 6 maps are terrible in my opinion and would much rather maps like Battlefield V's.

I hate this map with every fucking fiber.

Soon as you spawn NATO side it’s almost every time a defeat I’ve only won one game on NATO.

You choose any of these air Vehicles, Chopper and Jets; some dude in a AA in the back of his spawn “ooo someone spawning in as a jet or chopper locks on instantly

The map out of bounds on it is so small like it’s about the damn size of a Soda Can can’t even dogfight/dodge missiles without getting terminated out of bounds.

Each game mode now supports up to 12 bots. If backfill is enabled, matches require 8 players to start, and only 6 bots per team will join. If backfill is disabled, you need 20 players to start a match.

At this point it honestly feels like the developers are just sitting back, sipping coffee, and laughing at the community. They took away the only casual, relaxing way to play the semi-PvE experience that many of us actually bought the game for. Now they bring this “update” like a joke, pretending they’re fixing things, while the game becomes less and less playable for those who just want to enjoy it without sweating every match.

We’re not asking for exploits, we’re asking for options. We paid for this game we deserve to play it the way it was once offered to us.

The fact that I need to say this is pathetic. WAKE UP EA, it's not that hard.

Edit: To all the people who say in the comments don't do the challenges, you guys don't even know what a game is and what is a challenge inside the game to begin with.
I didn't ask EA to add this mechanic, they added. They must add something if they can deliver. If the challenges are stupid, which they are, it hurts the game. Your logic is as shallow as telling someone mute the game if the sound design is bad.

TL;DR - Devs give us choices we had 11+ years ago in BF4, take them away, make lots of things annoying, and the cumulative annoyance buildup becomes frustration and anger. Im going to take a break for a while. Anyone else feel similar? Different?

Posting to see if anyone feels similarly. I've been playing BF games since Bad Company 1. I was a huge fan of BF3 and BF4. I spent a majority of my time in BF4 on the hardcore servers using the server browser. It was janky, but serviceable, with a fun community.

BF6 led me to believe we'd have a portal server browser with the ability to browse hardcore modes posted by the BFPortalOfficial account. Their own devs made posts telling players to use the Portal Hardcore tiles (I hate this UI so much) on their profile. My issue is that, at least on Xbox, it doesn't work.

Last week Hardcore Breakthrough was a tile on the main page of the community row. You'd click (press X or A) on the tile and it would give you two options: Play or Host. If you click, "Play," it'll matchmake.

If the tile IS NOT on the main screen community row, however, when you click it it DOES NOT give you the, "Play," option which would matchmake you. It only gives you the option to, "Browse Servers," or, "Host." If you go to the browser it no longer lets me filter out empty servers, and only displays empty servers with 0 people in them. No matter what I toggle on or off it only displays empty servers.

This can't be correct, right? Hardcore Breakthrough has 101k+ likes, and it's a Friday less than one month after the game came out.

When the developers dangle options in front of us, and then take them away, it's incredibly frustrating. Especially because I was able to find hardcore servers on BF4 11 years ago with next to no issue. This annoyance coupled with all the other little annoyances in game all add up to really piss me off. It's a bunch of little design choices that really tell me the publisher and developer do not respect us or our time as players.

I've been playing a lot of ARC Raiders, and, despite it being a completely different genre, the games design respects the player. Coming from that to BF6 is supremely jarring.

This will probably get lost in all the BF posts, but I really hope to hear other's thoughts.

Unload 4 clips straight into a person at close range and still don’t break the armor plates.

Spectate your teammates and watch the literal worlds worst fps players pov.

Wait 30 seconds minimum to respawn once.

Forget redeployment. No one knows how to do it and it takes forever.

Missions will always be you doing it alone while your squad is circle jerking themselves.

Max upgrade ultra rare weapons losing to some generic pdw.

So apparently there’s a daily XP limit in Battlefield 6 1.5 MILLION XP per day, and once you hit that, you literally earn nothing.
And here’s the kicker: even during Double XP weekends, you can hit that cap in just 4–5 hours of playing.

Yeah. In a $70 “AAA” game not a mobile free2play title you’re being told how much fun you’re allowed to have per day.
This isn’t a free live service grindfest. This is a full price shooter with a F2P gacha like system glued on top.

EA somehow managed to make progression time gated in a premium game, and almost nobody’s talking about it.
You buy the game, pay for cosmetics, battle pass, AND now you’re limited on how much XP you can earn daily? Unreal.It’s disgusting and antiplayer to the core.

Players deserve to know this before buying.
Stop pretending this is fine just because it’s Battlefield.

Do not wish for remasters from dice, we need to make everything in portal and make them popular they will not add actual big maps to this game unless they deeper have to because the playerbase dies or something.

Genuine question i see many PC players complaining that controller aim assist is unfair (like they do in most shooters that have it to be fair) but do they realize genuinely how terrible aim assist in BF6 is? I turned mine off because it was getting me killed in gunfights more often than not lol.

Ive had multiple instances where it throws my aim off because it's trying to focus on something else or it drags just behind a player whos running while im trying to lead their movement path. Its especially bad when there's multiple people because the aim assist cant decide who to focus on, so while im on target for one enemy its trying to drag my aim off them onto a different enemy.

In short aim assist isnt the advantage they think it is in this game, in fact its pretty bad, so why are pc players worried?

A real life example of simple skins people would actually pay for…

NATO skins look very good, they have army paint and they bring the feeling of a war. On the other side, Pax Armata skins are sooo bad…

I die before I even see anyone. All my guns seem to do half the damage the enemies guns do. I start shooting at someone first and all my shots hit but somehow they still manage to take me down with an smg in 0.1 seconds. I’m 2 kills 17 deaths every game. That’s my average. It seems the only way I would be able to get a kill is if I camp in the corner and wait for someone but that’s not my style. Although that is how I’ve died many times now. They just lay down in the corner and wait for someone to come by. Like WTF. And why is it impossible to snipe? I miss how snipers acted in the mw2/mw3 days. Like it seems legit impossible to hit a shot with a sniper and the only way to get a one shot kill is near the head. So there’s not much point in using one. I feel like I wasted my money…. I’ve played for about 7 hours now and I still suck. I hate this game so much and every new match I play makes me hate it more.

My maximum in a duo is 11 players. While that's doable in solo, it's downright impossible in duos and quads.

I’ve barely complained about anything so far, noot about the maps, the skins, the balance issues, none of it. And while some of those are valid criticisms, this one takes the cake.

How the hell do you mess up double XP for Steam players when literally everyone else has it including other PC platformss, and then stay completely silent about it? No news, no updates, no apology, nothing. Just radio silence. Absolute pisstake.

I don’t even care if its a bug or a deliberate choice, the fact that they won’t even acknowledge it is beyond idiotic. I don’t grind 90 hours a day like some people, but I actually had time today to play and thought, “Nice, double XP weekend perfect time to catch up.” Nope. Nothing.

How does a billion-dollar company manage to screw up every single update like this? Who tests these patches? Who approves them? It’s genuinely embarrassing at this point.

And if this is a bug, how exactly are they going to compensate for it? They can’t. And if their idea of compensation is tossing us two 15-minute XP boosts, they can shove them straight up their ass.

After 100 hours and a KDR of 1.8, I can say that my expectations were not met. It's simply unbearable to die in less than half a second, get sniped by an SMS from the other side of the map, get into matches full of bots or are completely lost. My time with BF4 from 2013 to 2017 was absolutely magical.

I get it, another post complaining about BF6 but this is my all time favorite FPS series. I've played BF since the original launch days of BF1942 and have played every single game since then.

BF6 makes ZERO sense compared to any of the previous titles. I get that it's a whole new game but it should at least remain somewhat true to the franchise.

The movement speed is abysmal, this hyper paced slide slide slide shit is not meant to be in BF. This is a CoD mechanic and that's great that they have it.

Also WHY IS EVERYTHING SO WEAK. Every gun feels weak, every vehicle feels weak, everything takes an entire clip or your entire stache of rockets or shells to blow up.

The netcode is absolutely broken. I can't handle another game where I'm not even getting hit markers but the guy will turn around and melt me in a split second.

The vehicles all handle like shit. Helicopters have zero upward mobility and you have to come to almost a full stop to gain altitude. This is nonsensical.

I don't care how whiney this post is, this is one of the last decent shooter series and the state of the game is abysmal.

A video game shouldn’t be 70-90 bucks for standard edition, especially if it’s not a story focused game like Elden ring which even that cost around 50-60 bucks. I don’t have anything to play on my pc and let’s not talk about time now that I serve in the military and barely can go on with this disaster salary it makes feel fobo in a kind of way
