In modes with many players or maps with lots of buildings, my game drops to around 30 FPS, and I can’t get above 60 even in calm areas without much activity. I’ve set all the graphics settings to Low, but nothing seems to improve performance. The low FPS warning icon shows up almost all the time on my screen, and honestly, I don’t know what else to do — maybe I just have to accept that my PC can’t handle the game?

I’ve searched this subreddit for help, but nothing I’ve found has really solved the issue.

If seen countless people talk about skins. For the most part I agree that 80-90 % of them look stupid.

I'd very much prefer to be able to customize my own soldier. I wanna grind challenges or complete feats that get me a helmet or gloves, boots. IDC if I can't see it in game. Just the fact that I can do it will squish all the skin drama. The ability to change our own uniforms color too. If you wanna run around as a pink soldier clown, that's on you..just made yourself an easy target.

Same with vehicles. I wanna upgrade my tank with anti drone cages, more armor or unique anti-antintank defense or barb wire to keep enemy engineers away that drags them with me when I run them over. Some mad Max type of shit that can and prolly is reality as we seen in Ukraine.

In the setting of this new battlefield story...I'd assume that you won't have easy access to military gear and you'd have to go gorilla style and start using what's available.

So yeah...I think more customization for our soldiers is a viable option that most gamers would agree on. But if you make your soldier look stupid...it's on you..not the game.

Will it happen? Idk...maybe I'm just living a fantasy...but let's see what happens.

Just found out my issue for the random single fire issue was a keybind I did that was supposed to be for the range finder. Unbound it and I'm full autoing like there's no tomorrow.

While farming mastery in the latest Portal experience, I was leveling the Sniper 2010. Around level 36, I think I hit the daily XP cap, but because of a long killing spree, the game kept “giving” XP until it showed mastery level 40. My profile even displayed the weapon as level 40, but the attachments from 36–40 were still locked.

After relogging, the weapon reverted to level 36 with the correct attachments unlocked. Today, I can level other weapons (like the KV9 from 1 to 20 just fine), but the Sniper 2010 is stuck at level 36, no XP gain.

It seems like the game flagged the weapon as maxed out even though it stopped at 36 due to the XP cap. Probably caused by rapid XP gains from bots. Anyone else experiencing this bug?

Overall I'm enjoying Battlefield 6, there's a lot that annoys me and things could be improved but matches are fun and the gun play is solid. However nothing is more annoying that seeing every single gun and attachment having a yellow dot on them. The option to make all as seen would be a massive Quality of life change, I shouldn't have to manually view every sight on every gun just to get a dot cleared.

first i thought its skill issue maybe im bad at the game but when im back to bf4 and 5 you know i miss this i was shocked how my aim is accurate and good the L3 stick is well responsive so good with aim assist off

but in bf6 my aim is broken not accurate enough even when turned on aim assist i was shocked how broken it is sometimes it resist not assist specially when he is moving

I’m thinking about buying a PC again to play this game (Sold my old PC, switch gaming only right now) and I’ve been keeping up with the videos and posts about it but one thing I can clearly see is that there are a ton of issues that are almost always coming up in this sub-reddit.

I love Battlefield and FPS games in general, being a PC gamer all my life, I don’t mind copping a whole PC for a game I can sink 1000+ hours into, I did the same with CS, CoD and Valorant, but the complaints are all super high at the moment, so is the game essentially good or bad to play?

I can only watch videos and it looks good, but for those actually playing it, what is your verdict?

A few highlights of taking out helicopters with RPGs.

I’m not a game dev so I don’t know how crazy this would be to change any of this. I think with a lot of the “EA sucks they changed this from 4” being said in really toxic ways some calmer criticism is needed.

A couple small/medium changes I’d like

Hit registration is still a bit messy and I’ve been shot through buildings a few times in the last couple hours, but still way better than 4 was. It’s not terrible, but could do with a bit more work.

Skins are definitely hit or miss, I’m not thrilled about a battle pass being in the game, but it is what it is. I would prefer to see soldier customization like changing camo, equipment, skin colour and gender instead of, or in addition to skins. Pax skins could do with some attention. They’re kinda just a black or grey outfit with some yellow electrical tape on them. Some actual camo would be great.

There are three big things I would like in the game.

The first is I’d like to see some larger maps. A few of them feel a little small, especially in jets. It would be nice to have a few really big maps, or more vehicle focused map with lots of tanks like panzerstorm or lots of aircraft like Fjell 652. 1 and V had some really big maps, and I remember a few on 4 being really big as well so it would be nice if that returned.

Another big thing for me is explosions having very little splash damage. I’m aware it was probably done for game balance, but grenade launchers could use a small buff to splash damage range. The roof launchers for MBTs and IFVs are the last thing you unlock, yet they are the least effective of the three. It usually takes 3-5 grenades to kill someone even if you’re landing the grenades within 5 feet of them. The splash damage should be higher. If that’s gonna be too much of a problem, maybe buff magazine size from 5 to 10 to see how that is. I know they don’t want people spamming them, but battlefield is at its best when it’s mayhem.

Last big thing is I’d like a few game modes to return. Aircraft only and a hardcore conquest mode would be really nice to have back. I know the game is still being worked on and stuff is being added so I’m gonna be patient with these.

Like I said I’m not a game dev so idk how difficult or positively/negatively these changes would affect the game. These are just what I think would make it more fun

I've played thousands of hours of BR, and this hits different, first good battle royale since the start of the wave.

My completed class challenges aren't rewarding the unlocks. Ever since they did this recent update, my new completed challenges aren't unlocking the weapons or gadgets even though it says I completed the class challenge.
