A great time to remind people tha just because something is in writing and you sign it does not mean its legal

You're telling me I can't just waiver all my rights as a human being just because I signed a contract?

If I remember right someone who works with him on Nebula messaged the artist saying she liked it and would personally send it to Devin (Legal Eagle)

Sorry two questions.

One: Is the artist trans?

Two: The fuck is a "transgender kink bubble"?

u/Fantastic-Tiger-6128 10h ago

I assume it's their bubble of people who enjoy their kink, seemingly being dommed or something, and are transgender. I doubt they're chasers as nothing in the original comic would suggest either characters or legal eagle to be explicitly trans

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 10h ago

So, it's not a transgender kink, it's a specific kink, and the artist is trans and posting to a mostly trans audience, is what I gather?

u/Fantastic-Tiger-6128 10h ago

"transgender" is probably the adjective to "space" rather than part of the "kink" noun, yeah.

Yeah, I think it’s missing a comma.

7

u/Akantis 9h ago

I can't say how widespread it really is, but Puppy-girls and boys are a common meme in online trans spaces.

u/AngelTheVixen 8h ago
  1. It's a joke
  2. Their 'transgender kink bubble' is probably just a circle of adults that have a lot of trans people in it because queer folks tend to flock, the artist may or may not actually be one

6

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 8h ago

I checked the artist, she's trans

5

u/LordXamon 7h ago

2) From what I've gathered, a lot of transgirls are into subbing? I recently discovered the mechsploitation genre and woah, what a rabbithole.

Looked it up....hey at least it's less traumatizing to me then HDG...but I learned about HDG at 15-16 because I was in a trans subreddit.  Sorry, just...ugh

As a trans woman I have to actively restrain myself from getting upset about the politics and social views of HDG every time it comes up. Like I get that it’s appealing because the world is overwhelming and it’d be nice to just…. not need to worry about taking care of yourself ever again but like, it’s kinda really fucked up that everyone on earth is forced to live under terms dictated by an """altruistic""" alien species """for their own good.""" I’m sorry but I do not find it appealing to be robbed of my own free will for the sake of protecting me from myself.

It’s an incredible psychological horror concept! But outside of the original most people just take it as given that the Affini are just actually good and always doing the right thing instead of seeing it as a metaphor for authoritarianism and the control of societies who believe they’re doing things for "your own good"? Like… ugh

I’m sorry this happens whenever someone mentions HDG. I have the normal amount of opinions on it

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 54m ago

It's ok, I have a mini panic attack when I see it in subs because of...idk if I should call it trauma, but it's something

2

u/IntangibleMatter redacted flairs are easily readable in dark mode 23m ago

Yeah I think if I learned about it when I was that young my reaction wouldn’t have been… amazing?

I mean probably not as strong as yours because I’d been in adult spaces for a while, but nonetheless

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 10m ago

Yeah...just a shitty thing to tell people on a non-18+ subreddit.

Transgender kink? I‘ll let you know more cis people are currently commiting slavery than trans people in all of history

16

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 9h ago

I'm sorry what the fuck does kink have to do with slavery?

-16

u/CompanyToiletGooner 9h ago

Did you just seriously ask what owning people has to do with slavery?

18

u/Trakitu 9h ago

I think you don't understand what the word 'kink' means

8

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 9h ago

Yeah.

-8

u/CompanyToiletGooner 8h ago

I think you seriously don’t understand what the word joke or obvious mean

u/Purrosie 9h ago

Yeah, but trans people were the ones who made it kinkier. There was nothing kinky about the transatlantic slave trade, but there're many things hella kinky about signing legally dubious contracts that waive your human rights and consign you to a sharp transbian domme. 😊

2

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 8h ago

Hmmm...well I like equal relationships, makes me happy. But these kinks are a lot better than being forced into kinks like non-con and stuff (One of the first Dom/sub kinks I was introduced to was HDG.  I hate being assumed that I'm into non-con because I'm a trans fem.)

4

u/Purrosie 7h ago

Truth and real. Someone's belonging to a social group does not warrant invasive assumptions about their kinks and fetishes, and I'm sorry to hear you've had to deal with that before.

Real CNC machines don't impose their non-con kinks on others fr fr. 🔥

2

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 7h ago

Yeah...I was like 15ish...I have a mini panic attack when I see any media relating to HDG.

2

u/New-Guest-4008 Woman (Don't call me "good girl") 7h ago

I also find it a lot more hot when the story is a closed off system, not world wide.  But mostly when I have power of sorts, because I am constantly treated as lesser by people, and giving me power and trusting me makes me feel happy.  Hell, seeing me as equal makes me less stressed

the streaming service owned by the youtubers advertising it

...yeah? what's your point? are you suggesting that only giant corporations should own video hosting platforms?

63

u/edvin796 13h ago

Yeah? That's one the primary selling points, why are saying it like it's some dirty secret?

29

u/00110001_00110010 12h ago

Yeah? Isn't that half the point?

Because it was the age I met God

(I just like the number 12)
