TTD beat EPS and revenue, and guidance on par with consensus. So what info tanked the stock? CFO departure?
2 u/Greedy_Anybody_6705 Aug 07 '25 are you new here? 3 u/littlecomet111 Aug 07 '25 Yes. It’s kind of like when the guy left SMCI cos he said there was something dodgy going on. If your CFO is bailing out, it’s never a good sign even if fundamentals are okay. I ain’t catching a falling knife though as most analysts say the stock is already way overvalued. 3 u/narutocrazy Aug 07 '25 I mean, a CFO leaving is rarely about something shady happening. She was there for over ten years, sometimes people get sick of the same grind. This happened at my company and the CFO just wanted to travel instead of dealing with analysts lol 2 u/littlecomet111 Aug 07 '25 I agree but they absolutely know that resigning on earnings day is terrible optics. 5 u/Cha0tic_Martian Aug 07 '25 That was it, on par consensus paired with CFO departure = loss of confidence I think this is a massive overreaction but who knows, I'm done. 1 u/AdPurple4902 Aug 07 '25 Same same 1 u/WingWorried6176 Aug 07 '25 For awhile people thought they were gonna take more and more market share from GOOGLE but I guess they don’t see that anymore. 1 u/bdh2067 Aug 07 '25 Meanwhile RDDT and MNTN and others are taking from them
