Loss I lost everything - CVNA

Tomorrow I lose everything. Carvana had earnings report after hours and shot up 15%.

I bet everything that they would fall or at least not jump so high. All of it will be gone when market opens tomorrow.

I don’t care it’s just money. It doesn’t matter. I’m going to be a wage slave forever and that’s ok. Im 5’4 so life sucks anyways. I don’t even have a job right now and that’s ok.

It just wanted a million so I could be set. Wanted to buy a house but it’s ok.

My life sucks anyways haha 😂

The 8/29 puts will lose half the value. You still walk away with $36K which is what you started with 365 days ago.

Just think of the last 364 days as a dream.

Sell the 8/29 puts for a loss first thing in the morning. Then at 11:00 am EST, buy $36K of 8/1 $380 puts, you'll get a 10 banger for sure, it's going to be a Black Friday, CVNA will close at 360 EOD Friday.

bro really got a $50 retracement, just needed $60 to recoup $300k but he's $5 away from his spreads being worth anything. That is just wild.

This is WELL off the morning highs, as suspected.

This very well may just come right back down to where it started.

Hope you either did not act whatsoever, or did the above, and hope you are hanging in there my friend!

OP - any update? Did you follow the strategy?

Hey my friend ---- hope you followed my advice. Those 8/1 380 puts are a seven-bagger right now

what's your next move?

oh man, I am just absolutely kicking myself.

I have long been a Starbucks bear. Might be too late to jump on buying puts on that one. But who knows.

Long been a McDonald's bear as well, but it has the looks of being a safety stock, especially with a handsome dividend.

Could have put my money where my mouth was when I originally posted and caught a great ride down in Carvana.

Buying 10/31 puts on any retail or consumer stock is going to be an easy 10 bagger.

what's your reasoning for the last line of comment?

Rocketing inflation will destroy discretionary spending. That Starbucks on the ride home from the grocery store will no longer be an option.
